Zap Fitness 24/7 Bridgewater

Negative experience: Small gym, limited amenities, aircon has been broken for months, somehow they justify not having aircon over summer in a gym because they’re waiting for parts. Shouldn’t take longer than 3 months to get this sorted. Avoiding large greedy businesses from now on, clearly lacking any social accountability. No discounts on memberships offered. Can’t take shoes off to deadlift/squat for ‘safety reasons’. A pair of sneakers will not save my toe from a dumbbell so atleast give a valid reason.

Negative experience: The gym is fine enough, air conditioning has been broken for well over 3 months. Smith machine needs lubricant as it doesn’t slide properly. Both issues raised with staff multiple times but management takes their sweet time getting anything done. Have given this gym too many chances to improve but won’t be returning to Bridgewater zap any time soon.

Negative experience: This gym was nice but the aircon has been broken for a few months now and no action has been taken. They say they are waiting for the parts for a few months now. I It gets too hot sometimes and had to stop my workout and leave. It would have been nice if a part of the membership fees were refunded to the members as we can't fully utilise this club anymore. People are left with no other option other than to go here. The fans that are put in temporarily does not help. The nearest club is in Claremont which is another 10 to 15 mins drive from Bridgewater club which is an additional expense of time and money for the members. Hope more gyms open up in all parts of Tassie and give people more option. Response to owner: Yes, we have access to other clubs, but we pay extra for that access. It's been months since you are waiting for the parts. It's an extra expense for the members to drive till Claremont which is another 15 mins away. That excuse isn't good enough.

Fantastic experience: Bridgewater Zap is clean, tidy and I’ve noticed customers who the equipments they sanitised after used and I’ve did same too I’ve sanitised the equipment every time used. Staff Isabel is nice, friendly and keep the place clean and she had this beautiful smile to the customer’s.

Negative experience: Got told my account had been cancelled as i was no longer using the gym and i was waiting for my new bank card to make final payment. When i called up to pay outstanding amount i got told this hadn't been done, and i had to pay and extra $74 on top of the $101, even tho i was told my membership had been cancelled a month prior.
