Fantastic experience: I’ve tried multiple gyms in the area, and I’m happy that I’ve finally found one that suits my needs, and provides a great service. I joined 4 months ago, and I love the fact that the space/equipment and member ratio is very good. I can always workout comfortably. I also had a very bad experience with direct debits at a competitor near by and have had no issues at all here. I froze my membership for a month while traveling and everything worked smoothly in every aspect. The staff is also very friendly, helpful, and go beyond their means to be supportive. I usually just use the equipment, and have not taken any classes, so can’t comment on that. I love using the small sauna and leg recovery gear. Thank you Impact 24/7

Negative experience: When it was The Box, this place was brilliant. Indoor basketball hoop (which no other gym has) - friendly environment - in house trainers AND Physio - it was a gym I was excited to go to, where the management knew my name, and I made some workout mates but the new management with Impact had me leave and find a better gym When new management took over they removed the indoor basketball hoop for more floorspace for group sessions - prioritizing group sessions (where group sessions already had plenty of room) rather than what made them unique and stand out from other gyms by having an indoor court The training for the group sessions (unsure if they're still there) was very rude. When stretching/warming up/cooling down he'd place group work out items around you, and in one instance had a class of kids run around me while doing sit ups. Reported mould growing under benches which wasn't cleaned for a few days. Burning smells coming from fuse boxes which took a couple days to get fixed. Physio and trainers left and dogs in the gym While I'm all for dogs at the gym there have been a couple issues - the group trainers dog would race around interacting with people and other dogs, and it's not something you want near you when you're squatting or dead lifting Last time I went to this gym in May/June 2024, a dog was leashed up to a machine, so then you couldn't use that machine as the dog was clipped to it. When I told the management I was leaving, they talked down to me as if I was a toddler insisting I give a months notice despite being out of contract and that I had to come in to fill out a form (where my wife who also left didn't have to fill out any forms nor attend the gym to cease her membership) Finally there is no parking available for the gym. During peak times you could be parking over 100m away with the two opp shops and factories next door. If you're looking for a gym in the area, scope around first or give it a trial run first

Fantastic experience: I cancelled my old gym membership so I could train here! Impact has everything you need if you're into strength and conditioning, crossfit, bodybuilding, or even Hyrox. There's also an infrared sauna and recovery lounge. The equipment is new and the staff are very friendly! I usually keep to myself, but the Impact gym community has been so welcoming. Special shout out to Will, who will bend over backwards for anything you need! And thankyou Anna for the running club, which is epic!

Fantastic experience: Been training at this gym for about a year now and couldn't be happier. There are a range of machines that are modern and well maintained with a full set of dumbbells (up to 65kg!). The staff are very friendly and accommodating too. 5 Stars

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Impact chelsea heights for nearly 2 months and haven’t had any issues. When I first joined the gym I was quite anxious to get started but the staff and other members are all very friendly and inviting. There’s plenty of variety of equipment and lots of space to workout. Will at the front desk is always happy to help with any questions and is a great bloke, definitely recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad I joined this gym. I'd been researching gyms for a while and I was on the fence about joining one, mainly due to having young children and not being sure whether I could fit it in. I really liked impact 24/7 social media pages and the website. I just had a good feeling about it so I reached out for a tour. This place just has a different vibe. Staff are lovely and friendly. Genuine. The place is clean and welcoming. Love the music and the facilities. They even have a kids zone for my little ones and a recovery room, which is a lovely little pamper! Everything I could want and more!

Fantastic experience: I came in last week as I popped into the Vinnies next door. I was greeted by a young chap by the name of Will. I'm in the process of looking at new exercise facilities as I've just moved down from Swan Hill. I mentioned to him it may be a few weeks/months before I signed up ; but that didn't bother him - he gave me the time of day, was personable and attentive to the things I was looking for - he truly made me feel like a member already. I've been to alot of places which make you feel like a number - this interaction was different. I think I've found the gym I'll be signing up to once the dust from moving settles Regards, Barb

Negative experience: This place used to be awesome - new management changed the entire way this gym operates. Asking us to ensure sanitation with the equipment yet allowing animals such as dogs into the gym to like and potentially dedicate and urinate on equipment is a wild double standard and should be addressed before any form of planned rebranding or any additions to this gym.

Fantastic experience: The Box is such a friendly, welcoming and encouraging gym. I love doing the Strength and Conditioning classes as I get to hang out with like-minded people, have a laugh, get fit and educated by amazing trainers. New owners are lovely and have definitely made some great improvements to the gym. The BEST gym in the area! ‍♀️‍♀️

Fantastic experience: Great gym, heaps of space and equipment all in great condition. Only thing is please add a Tricep extension machine and potentially a bicep curl machine. These have been two of the best machines to use in my experience at other gyms, and would be awesome to have here.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym with excellent equipment, layout and staff. Their service is very customer-oriented. I wish i lived closer as this is a great gym with a non-pretentious member base and great community feel. There is a lot of space to do any type of workout whether that’s HIIT, weights or basketball. The actual atmosphere is very motivating only downside would be the lack of changing rooms for the 9-5 worker but I think this is being worked on soon.

Child friendly, but set up in a way that the kids aren’t a distraction and have their own separate space. Staff and gym owners are dedicated and put blood sweat and tears into their business to deliver the best for members. If you’re looking for a one stop shop, this is it.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to write this review, for anyone who is looking at joining a gym locally. I have been with the same Gym owners for over 5 years. They are always helpful and really care about you. They make the environment pleasant for men and women, not to mention the child care minding giving me piece-of-mind and space for me to work out on my own, with NOOOO interruptions. Girls, in case you're thinking this gym is full of sweaty, feral men, it's not. They may get sweaty, but don't we all. I really like the mix of members at this gym. Everyone is friendly, and keeps to themselves. There's a great range of equipment. If you are not self-motivated, there are so many great classes to join, run by some amazing trainers. Don't judge this gym until you try it out. This is one of those hidden gems.

Fantastic experience: I remember one morning my Dad said “hey mate, wanna come around to my new gym and do a class”. I was incredibly out of shape and not into any physical activity whatsoever, but for some reason I said yes. Literally the greatest decision I ever made. I’m in a much better position now, I’m fitter, healthier and I just generally feel much happier with where my life has gone since that day. The gym I went to of course was the box Chelsea. I quickly signed up, got myself a membership and made an effort to frequent the gym as much as I could. All the other people who I’ve been surrounded by in the gym have been nothing short of amazing, and kind. Not to mention the staff, I gained a quick friendship with the owner Aaron as he helped me on my journey. Not only is he engaging, kind and knows what he’s talking about. He just CARES! You rarely ever find a business where someone cares about YOU the customer, they care about the money, the profits, and where that money goes and how it comes in and they couldn’t care less about you as long as your paying the fees. Aaron and his team have worked hard to make sure your experience at their gym is at a consistently high level. They have showed utmost professionalism as becoming really good friends with not just myself but all the other “regulars” . I love the box Chelsea, I highly recommend it to anybody who’s looking for a new gym, a new routine or just looking to get into the groove like I did way back when.
