Fantastic experience: Have been a member here for a while and hate to leave as I'm moving - great gym open all night which was perfect for me - definitely great to train with mates who have memberships elsewhere with a $6 casual instead of $20 bucks everywhere else

Fantastic experience: I'm not one to write reviews but I felt the need to give a shout out to this gym. It is a great option for something affordable yet also absolutely equipped for any of my workout needs, with a friendly staff. Plenty of space, plenty of machines, racks, free weights, punching bags, and even a grass section for jumping, sled pushes and more, and it is never too crowded! The flexible membership options make it a great place for a workout when needed without having to spend a fortune for a long time commitment. That said my business is here to stay for this lovely gym!

Fantastic experience: Basic gym but has everything. Very cost effective and the place to go for a casual visit. When you don't want the work so you can go to the gym. This is the gym to goto to make you feel better when going to work.

Fantastic experience: The casual fee is dirt cheap and the staff are really good!! The atmosphere/vibe here is very friendly and most people would happily give you a spot or some advice when asked!! Most of weights are in pounds so make sure you prepare for some calculations / conversions or just assess the weight based on the size compared to other weights you’ve seen previously

Fantastic experience: Excellent, well equipped gym that is not too busy and not stupidly priced. The Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the equipment quality and safe. Seems to be free of the meat head attitude often found in gyms and seems to be a female friendly environment. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: A great no nonsense gym. Choose this place if you really want to workout, they have a good rangeof equipment and offer great value for $. If you like the feel good factor of the expensive gyms then avoid coming here....there are always other places to go and offload the extra cash you have.

Fantastic experience: Old school gym - equipment works well. Great pricing. Owners are great and up for a chat. If you like to get in and out and be left alone you can do that too. If you want to piss your money away for no reason go to good life or the fad gyms. If you want value for money go to inspiration.

Fantastic experience: This gym has exactly what you need to build strength and fitness without all the B.S and exorbitant pricing. If you are looking for a gym with perfect lighting for that instashot or somewhere to sit around looking pretty and feeling good because you "went to the gym" then this is probably not the right place for you. But if you want to work hard in a supportive space with a great team... This is it. Well done Steve!

Negative experience: Pretty average gym, but with decent pricing. Dead atmosphere, not much airflow, Spotify with annoying ads playing all the time or sometimes no music at all, which is awkward... Some old/kinda broken equipment, and some equipment has weights listed in pounds, which is confusing. Dumbbell rack is usually a mess. Only two squat racks, have to wait to use those and the flat bench, even when it's not that busy. Overall, I wasn't feeling very "inspired"...

Positive experience: The equipment is old but usable and practical; the plates have ridges that make them easy to rack on and off when the barbell is on the floor. It can get rather crowded during peak hours. People that enjoy the main barbell compound lifts may have to wait to get a spot on the 2 squat racks and 1 flat bench during these times. Thankfully, people are civil enough to let you bench in the squat rack and not get ridiculed for it. The units are mixed with both imperial units (pounds) and metric units (kilograms). This can be rather annoying for people that are here to train and track their metrics in order to reach your goals as opposed to simply being here for a workout. I believe there is no air conditioning or heating (excluding reception). There are only fans. The clientele could do a better job of racking weights in the correct order. At least there's chalk and 24 / 7 access. In summary my impression of existing reviews and my actual experience were not the same. EDIT: The new equipment means that training during peak hours is more manageable meaning my first 2 points are no longer as relevant. 3 to 4 stars.

Negative experience: Not up to standards of a new health club, but one of those old gyms.

Fantastic experience: Really fantastic gym. Its not fancy, but it has everything you need to do a proper workout including heavy lift racks. Staff are friendly and there is no pretentiousness. Very good membership rates and also casual entry at $4.50. 24 hour access is also available by arrangement. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: My favorite gym I've ever been too. I started training with Steve the owner about two months ago when I was strugelling to get results. Steve is an awesome dude and has really helped me achieve results. The people who frequent thw gym are friendly and pretty laid back too. Also tried the infrared sauna the other day which was pretty cool

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of many gyms over the years and i have to say that IHF is by far the best one i have been to.  I was fed up of joining fees and expensive casual rates, i couldnt believe it when i found IHF with no joining fees and $4.5 casual rate. They have a no fuss attitude and i commend the management for this. As a member for over 3 years now, i am here to stay.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of IHF for a little under two years, and despite the growing competition in the area regarding other training facilities- it would take a lot for me to leave. A no nonsense set up, with a great membership base and determined and thoughtful management group. If you want to train for a purpose and tangible outcomes, this is the place to do it. Keep up the awesome work guys!
