Anytime Fitness West Gosford

Fantastic experience: Glad I found this gym. Perfect if you just want cardio and weight training. Small gym but has everything you need. Like the equipment, cleanliness, atmosphere and proximity and availability of car park spaces.

Fantastic experience: I came home for a month and signed up to Anytime West Gosford in an attempt to control Christmas calories and keep a routine - hands down - this was an amazing solution! Clean, friendly staff (Haley and Emma were just amazing; lovely to chat to), great facilities and immaculate gym equipment! This was a highlight of my trip! Whether for a long time or a short time, I'd recommend this gym to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, I go to various anytime fitness gyms and West Gosford is easily the best. The staff are truly awesome people. The club manager Haley is very accommodating and thoughtful. She goes above and beyond and has helped me in so many of my requests, she makes you feel welcome and has helped me many times and is very thoughtful. I highly recommend AF West Gosford and if you are thinking of joining up, just give it a go and have a chat to Haley!

Negative experience: Gym is one of the worst anytime fitness’s on the coast. The default crowd dj playlist is horrible club remixes combined with trashy high pitched pop music, and way too loud. the cramped claustrophobic lifting areas have horrible acoustics that make it drown out any communication with workout partners. It also gets obnoxiously loud around 5pm, perhaps when staff leave, making the free weights area an echoey mess of noise. The equipment is old, especially the bars (some of which wont even fit plates because they are broken). most cable accessories are screechy and very rusty. There is also a grand total of 4 benches in the free weight section, to cover 2 squat racks and the mirror section which on busy nights can be a problem. The hand dryers are inoperable and the bathroom’s usually smell bad. At least the bubbler is cold and functional The standard for commercial gyms is already so low, and many anytimes in sydney and the coast pass this bare minimum, but for a location as universal as gosford. If i was looking to join a gym, I would not give this gym in particular any money because it likely isn't reinvested in new equipment anyways. Tuggerah down the road is 10x better with more room and better equipment. edit: all being said, the staff here are always friendly and welcoming.

Negative experience: i was at the gym yesterday afternoon and asked this teen if he was finished his set and he rudely responded " ill tell you when im done when i want" i asked for his name and he yelled at me bad service

Fantastic experience: Really nice gym, plenty of equipment (a few I had never seen before). Plenty of space between equipment. Not crowded and when I felt trapped between McDonald's and kfc their friendly staff guided me to a awesome BBQ cafeteria. Enjoyed my session there and if I ever cruise thru I'll deff train there again

Fantastic experience: Small gym but old equipment. There is enough equipment in here and there is a just enough walk way space the amenities are spacious. Sometimes you go to gyms and give you paper towels to clean equipment but here it’s all thought out with wet disinfectant wipes which are fantastic . Plenty of parking and easily accessible If you are passing the central coast pop into this gym . Will be back

Fantastic experience: Honestly amazing. This gym has made a resurgence into fitness The aircon, fans and amazing equipment are all top notch. The manager Is amazing and always smiling.s the new employe cheandre always greets you with an amazing smile. Truly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Out of the several Anytime Fitness gyms I've been to, West Gosford definitely tops the rest. The two ladies who run the gym keep the place clean and uphold simple house rules which 95% of people abide by. There's a good amount of equipment with nothing really missing and it's always in top shape. Definitely the best gym I've been to and I'm more than happy to keep paying the high costs of an AF membership because of these guys.
