Fantastic experience: An incredible 5th birthday party for our son today! The kids all ready enjoyed all the equipment and the ninja course. Food was exactly as ordered and played up by the very attentive staff. A definite recommendation to anyone with active kids!!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her party here recently and it was a great experience for the kids. All we had to do was bring party bags and a cake - very easy as a parent!

Fantastic experience: We have had such wonderful experiences at Aussie Gem! My son has attended school camps here and recently celebrated his 5th birthday party at this fantastic venue. The variety of activities and sports available make it incredibly fun for the kids. My son absolutely loves it and can't wait to go back again and again.

Fantastic experience: Coaches and facilities are amazing. Lots of space and apparatus. Classes range from recreational to competition. They do birthday parties too ... so much fun.

Fantastic experience: We have only used them for holiday camps and my son’s 7th birthday but they are a fantastic centre - both my kids love the camps and the fact that food is included is amazing. They come home exhausted but desperate to go back!

Fantastic experience: Daughter absolutely loves it, well run, accommodating to the kids when shy etc. And then the Cafe so you can have a nice breakie, while the kids are flipping.

Fantastic experience: My 4 year old is doing the 4-7 years boys gym class and is learning so much! The class is fast paced, keeping the attention of some very high energy boys and testing their abilities. Management and coaches are to notch as well. Passionate, caring and genuinely there to ensure every child is involved and supported. My concern about some other children’s behaviour was taken with all seriousness and I was assured that each and every child’s safety and engagement in the class is of upmost importance. Cannot fault this gym!

Fantastic experience: AUSSIE GEMS have great facilities! It's a big space with a really cool setup. It's a great gym for gymnasts (and cheerleaders), and they also run children's birthday parties My son had a great time steaming off some crazy wild energy excess he has as a 7 year old.

Fantastic experience: We had a large children's party. I was nervous about keeping the very energetic group entertained but the hosts did an incredible job and everyone had a fun time. Staff were all helpful and answered any questions. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My son has been coming to Aussie gems since he was 2, he is now 6 and he absolutely LOVES it! He has progressed into the boys gymnastics squad and lives for his sessions. Aussie gems is a fantastic family gym, the staff are friendly and always want to get the most from your kids training! Highly recommend

Positive experience: Had a birthday party there. Parents are squished into a small coffee area, while observing the children through bullet proof glass.

Fantastic experience: Had our 9yr old son's birthday party with 27 kids + parents attending. Absolutely first class experience, friendly staff who entertained the kiddos with some really fun games and a nerf battle. Food was tasty and well presented. Very impressed, very much a fun and hassle free experience.

Fantastic experience: Great party venue

Negative experience: We attended one of the toddler classes on a Friday morning. Our child has a vision issue which I made known to the teachers on arrival. Instead of taking some time to explain the course and help me to make him included there was no discussion and he was placed into a group with a number of older kids. This wouldn't have been an issue if the group was actually managed properly by the teacher who could barely keep the group together. Instead of allowing the younger less confident children including my own have a turn navigating the equipment and encouraging patience and respect for people taking their turn the teacher moved these kids aside or just allowed the faster kids to cut the line and hog the equipment. These kids were not even supervised with their parents enjoying a coffee and a chat in the cafe (despite us being told parent supervision was required). The final straw was one of the unsupervised kids pushing my child off the equipment because he was trying to judge the distance of a jump (a challenge for a child with vision issues). Despite asking the owner to call me to discuss our concerns privately we never received a call or an apology. To me the business clearly doesn't foster an inclusive and respectful environment for ALL children. Perhaps they should also consider No parent no play to stop some kids being rough with others.... Won't be back again

Fantastic experience: Kids programs are simply fantastic for energetic little ones!

Positive experience: We experienced Aussie Gems for the young kid's group gym classes. Its a well run facility - clean, on schedule, professional staff and on site amenities like a cafe with thought out family menu. You can drop in casually or book for a term. The staff are wonderful and with a service run business its all about the staff. Great customer service, attentive to the individual needs of each child, cheerful and gymnastics pros.

Negative experience: Total profiteering. This company has my money and refuses to refund it. Take your cash even for a totally over subscribed service crammed in along side another class...and expect you to put up with it?? They clearly don’t understand children and their needs. Arrived this morning to do a pre-arranged preschool gymnastics class trial for my 4 yr old- $10 paid upfront at counter. Went into the class to see a sea of about 30 toddlers and preschoolers, some still wearing their shoes. Wasn’t acknowledged by the teachers and we just both stood there aghast- the noise levels in the room were off the richter and completely unsuitable for teaching any sort of lesson to young children. In the background there was a bunch of teenagers having a lesson so there was already so much going on in the room. Even I was over stimulated after 30 seconds I dread to think how many meltdowns occurred in that room in the hour that followed. We literally could not even hear what the teacher was saying. It was like being in a loud bar or something. Anyway, I walked back to the counter after less than 2 minutes and relayed why the session was just not going to work for us. I asked for my money back - they refused “due to company policy” They offered me a voucher - I didn’t want this as after a bad experience in a place that’s clearly just a factory out to make money out of families, I couldn’t foresee us wanting to come back there. All the reception staff kept saying was that “Friday’s are really busy” and we should “come back on another day” Yeh like I’ve so much time up my sleeve as a mum to two kids to waste just driving to Frenchs Forest back and forth everyday until we happen upon a class that just so happens to have a reasonable no of kids in it. I suggested that the class numbers should be capped - like any other gymnastics class I’ve been to - I don’t think this concept sunk in. I asked why didn’t they just tell me the class was full when I got there ....Oh that’s right because you want my money. I asked them if they even knew how many kids were in there - they didn’t. Ummm, hello insurance.... Anyway, $ 10 is neither here nor there but the staff suggested I leave a message for the owner to contact me to discuss. Apparently she was unavailable to talk to an unhappy customer. Surprise surprise. Even more surprised to still be waiting to hear from ther after a whole day for her to call ~not - it just reinforces my assumption about this place. Shall be telling friends not to bother with Aussie Gems. So many better, genuine community based options out there.

Negative experience: I had my son’s 5th party in April with 27 kids & had a few issues on the day. I have since written to them & have not received a response to the issues I raised. I work in events hand gave them some points to help them next time around, so it wasn’t a horrible email, more like constructive feedback. I even wrote them a follow up email asking if they had received my feedback and I got a one line reply. I was holding out leaving a review as I know how damaging it can be, but they have left me no other option. I spent over $1K with them booking their ‘VIP Room’ and think it’s unacceptable how they have not bothered to respond. When we arrived no one ran through the run schedule for the day and the owners were tidying up the space but didn’t bother to say hello or be friendly towards us. I ordered $400 worth of catering with them and it all went pear shaped. The food wasn’t ready on time and you are only allocated 30min for food & cake. People were still eating and they were trying to push us out. Also with the party starting at 11am there are 2 back to back activities and lunch at 1pm. By this time the kids were starving. The food wasn’t ready on time for when the kids broke for lunch so instead of eating the sandwiches & fresh fruit platters I’d ordered they ate the chips & cookies we had brought with us. So when the food was finally ready most the kids had filled up on the junk food and there was a lot of the platter food left over. I also ordered catering for the adults and this was completely forgotten about until I reminded them 30 min after it was meant to be served. The kitchen staff had no idea what was going on, and couldn’t answer my questions. It was visible they were scrambling around. Then I overheard the owner say to one of my guests “If you’re going to be rude there’s the door, you can leave”. My understanding is she was asking why the food was taking so long, why the kitchen was scrambling and why the manager wasn’t helping them, and that was her reply back. The professional way to handle this situation is pull me aside (as the paying client) and figure out what’s gone wrong and let me know of the issues they have had. There was NO communication with me on the day in regards to the food service, or even me leaving or helping me out, nothing. My son’s presents were left outside (literally outside their front doors) the whole time we were there & I wasn’t told about this. Luckily nothing was taken as there was a lot of money in there. I understand there was an issue with the chef on the day with their daughter going into hospital and I do sympathize with this being a mum, but there was absolutely no communication with me about anything. If I had known about this I would have been more understanding on the day. All up I had high expectations from so many positive reviews only to be let down

Fantastic experience: As a parent of a 10 year old boy and a 7 year old girl, I have finally found a place I can take both kid to for fitness an fun! My daughter does tumbling while my son does a range of classes from sprinting to footy skills. The owners and staff show a genuine interest in developing the kids in what they love.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING facility for kids, great place for the parents to relax whilst sipping on coffee. Enjoyable, fun place for anyone.

Fantastic experience: Stunning gym with incredible facilities for cheerleading. If it weren’t so far away from where I live, I would be here a lot more often!
