Fantastic experience: Very convenient and clean.

Negative experience: Just realised that I was charged a fee of $10. My salary went in at the same time the membership payment was deducted. For 1 year with Zap Fitness, my salary went in and by the end of day Zap will deduct their membership payment. For just about 1 year there has been no issues, till today I got hit with a $10 fee. I have been with a lot of gyms. 2 storey gyms, pools, aerobics area and they only charge few dollars extra. I went to Zap because they approached me and said they aren't like other gyms and they put customer's first and that's a guarantee. I work in a government department and because I finish late Zap was a closer option. Now I realise that Zap just used the old sales Tactics to get me to sign up. Clients are actually a number at Zap. Zap and it's entirely entity should consider all circumstances before charging fees to anyone. I will not be a client of Zap Fitness in any given time going forward. I will retract all Referrals made. I recommend other clients to go to Gym where they actually put clients first and not the fees.

They got the best in the business, Highly recommend this gym if you are looking for the right pts to help you smash your health goal, and specially cause it’s just an amazing gym, and the staff are so welcoming in to there gym! It’s like a package deal, but you’ll have to find out what the package deal is when you sign up to zap fitness!!! Ps (missing out)

Fantastic experience: ZAP Fitness Laurimar is more than just a gym—it's a life-altering experience! First off, let’s talk about the facility: this place is cleaner than my kitchen after a deep clean. With a top-tier vibe, it's like walking into a fitness paradise where every treadmill, bike, and weight machine is practically begging to help you shred for Stereo. Maddy (Manager and PT) doesn’t just run the place; she IS the place. I have never seen anyone so passionate and motivated about health, fitness and wellbeing. Other gyms I’ve been to? On one occasion, I had one put a donut in front of me on a treadmill (just out of reach) and made me run 3kms whilst yelling “run little piggy, run” at me. Maddy is part coach, part motivator, and part superhero. She knows exactly how to push you while making you forget your legs are on fire. And the best part? She’s got this magical way of making every person—whether you're a newbie or a gym junkie—feel like you belong. Let’s just say, after working with Maddy, other gyms feel like those sad high school cafeterias you see in American films where you sit alone, while ZAP feels like getting invited to the cool kids' table, except the cool kids also have amazing quads and a ridiculous amount of energy. The atmosphere here is so friendly, you won't find any of those intimidating “gym bros” here—just a team that genuinely wants to see you succeed, led by Maddy, who deserves to have a public holiday named after her.

Fantastic experience: Zap - Laurimar is the best amongst all of my gym experience. Ben is amazing. He helps everyone. Texts and check on the regular members, in case of long absence. Ben and Maddy keep the place clean and tidy. 'Zap' provides good equipment. Never found my gym to be overcrowded. Regular members are like a family, complementing each other. I love Zap - Laurimar.

Negative experience: BUYER BEWARE. Jetts Laurimar kept taking money out of my account even though I requested the contract be cancelled, and never used the Gym once since requesting the cancellation. When I approached them about getting the monies returned, they ignored the emails I sent to them. Funny as they were easy to communicate with when taking my money! Very underhanded and dishonest group to deal with. I believe they are changing their name to 'Zap' soon, but they will still be the same dishonest company and all will remain the same so be careful fellow Gym goers. There are other Gyms in Laurimar, I seriously recommend you go with them.

Negative experience: A Very small gym. Not spacious and people are crammed in. Limited gym equipments. All I can say is that staffs are welcoming.

Negative experience: Alright, I booked a trial and gym tour a week in advance. When friday came around and I rushed there straight after school in the rain to meet my booking. My first problem was that I couldn't enter the gym as the lady who called me a week prior didn't tell me how to get in. I'm very lucky that a friendly member let me in so I could find the staff. My second issue is that even though it was during "staff hours" and I had booked a tour at 3:30 over the phone there were no staff to be found. So I waited. And waited, for 40 minutes. Still no staff at which point I gave up. What makes this worse is the amount of junk emails they send you and the lackluster "booked" email, that says you booked a tour but doesnt even give you a time or how to get in. From what I gathered the gym members seem really nice and genuinely really good people. However the service offered by the gym appears to be terrible. I've heard simlure staff hours issues from a number of people who go there. Not to mention talks about changes in management. Really unfortunate and not an experience I want to repeat again, despite the “were all here for a reason” messages on their foyer wall.

Fantastic experience: Well kept premises and friendly staff. The gym floor area isn't that big but not too small either. The rates are good and doesn't require you to get into a contract, and that was one of the key reasons I opted for Jetts. Overall, value for money.

Negative experience: If I could give zero I would, DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM, staff lied to me and said that it was a quiet gym, it’s packed and cramped and can’t walk anywhere without tripping over someone and missing a lot of good equipment, don’t waste your time

Keep up the good work Jetts Laurimar! (those that complain about space and maybe how small it is, might be best for you to go to a gym thats size is more suitable for your liking) at the end of the day it's a gym for the surrounding community not for the whole of Melbourne. justsaying.com

Positive experience: We had some work for a client on the rooftop during late hours, but the generic swipe card provided by the client was inactive. I spoke with Quantrelle earlier in the day and she was very friendly and said if any issues can call her. I was told by my bloke that Quantrelle even offered to come down to sort it out (mind you this was after 10pm) In the end she did a one-off activation and we completed our upgrade works that night!

Negative experience: Been an on and off member for a period of over 6 years and was denied entry recently because I was 1 payment cycle overdue due to direct debit changes (by the company, not me). I said I'll update details on the spot but was refused entry. Completely ridiculous behaviour considering how long I've been a member for. Never using this gym again.

Positive experience: Jetts gyms are great, but this one needs to move to a bigger premises. When it first opened it was big enough, but more and more people are obviously joining and it's becoming a bit squishy. Otherwise it's good.

Negative experience: Tiny and cramped with machines. Feels packed with 10 ppl. Staff is good.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for years, great group of people. No judgement or haters, it's a nice environment. Like most 24hr gyms it's on the small side but it's never too busy to get a workout done

Negative experience: I realized they have been charging me even past my 12 month contract term, and when I called to cancel I was hit with another 30 days notice in addition to the contract term and funny enough they have "Weekly" payments so 30 days notice is in fact 5 weeks. Not sure if its legal to say 30 days and charge for 35. Having said all that I am just pissed that I have had to write 2 emails and make multiple phone calls to cancel a gym membership! When you join be prepared to have a not so easy exit.

Fantastic experience: "Way More Than Just Another Gym" I’m not one for writing reviews on Google, however I’m so impressed with the service offered by Jetts Laurimar Gym, on this occasion I’ve decided to step forward and put pen to paper! I’m just about to celebrate my 50th birthday and have worked 70 hours a week running a busy hotel for the past 5 years, no time for gym, and even less time for sleep. In truth, I’ve never been a gym guy; but my doctor warned me get fit, loss some weight or…… so finally I made the decision to retake my health and so joined Jetts Laurimar Gym back in February 2015. A lot’s happened since February; I’ve lost an amazing 18kg and I’m now fitter than I’ve been for the past 15 years! I would not have been able to do this if not for the friendly support and the “occasional push” from the team at Jetts Laurimar Gym. The gym is always clean and the equipment very well maintained, but the real magic about this gym is its people; the Manager and Personal Trainers and the Members are genuinely friendly, supportive and caring. It would also be remiss of me not to acknowledge their pro-active involved with the local community. They also hold informative information nights from time to time, the last one I went to was on nutrition, and diet, very helpful, and as I say - way more than just a gym. Anyway; if you’re in the area and thinking about taking action and joining a gym, I’d highly recommend this one! You won’t be disappointed. Oh and a big thanks to my Personal Trainer - Heath, you’ve given me my life back! You’re the BEST mate! Cheers Vincent
