Fantastic experience: Used the gym for a casual session while we were in town. Great price and the gym is really spacious and has lots of different equipment needed for a solid workout. I loved the old school feel of the environment, but the actual facilities for the gym were quite modern, so a great blend!

Fantastic experience: Great place for a swim or some exercise, great friendly staff and that's what you need in the pool environment, very clean establishment, only critism is it has a limited kiosk, and no facility for any hot food or drinks

Positive experience: Small pool and limited space around it. The booking got a bit mixed up because there was a school class using it at our booked time slot. But pleasant people and atmosphere

Negative experience: Wonderful staff...but seriously a few mums there that treat your kids badly....hello to the Karen's that go there....we will be back

Fantastic experience: Visited for a Swimming Carnival for my Grandchildren. Immaculately clean, great shade and grassed areas. Take rashies and plenty of sunscreen, as pool had no shade. Would have happily gone for a swim.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this pool for at least twice a week for the last year and have found the pool team very friendly. Technically there have been some problems with the pool and the spa, but thanks to the supportive and caring attitude of the staf it is a pleasure to go there. 5 stars are well deserved in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: Has everything in one spot! Could use with a bigger pool but this place has a gym, courts, squash, indoor and outdoor pool, CrossFit area, group classes and more! Cannot recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic, I play basketball here each week and my two young children have swimming lessons here. Customer service is excellent.

Positive experience: Great place but unfortunately new closing times for the pools means that it is closed more than open over the weekend. Which is ridiculous as that is when school children are actually able to go and have a swim. This pool (indoor, heated and outside, with water slides, open in summer only) is Council owned and it is really disappointing that they continue to withdraw activities/resources for school aged children and families from the community. The indoor pool is heated and should be assessable on weekends throughout the whole year. It is not like there is no staff already there as the building is open for other sports (Squash, Racquet Ball and Basketball) plus the Gym. With a couple more staff members the pool could be opened. Sorry rant over. Oops

Fantastic experience: We drove from Halls Gap to swim at this pool. The price was excellent, it was only $16 for two adults and two children. The facilities were very clean, and there was plenty of shade around the pool. The temperature of the water was excellent and allowed us to cool off on a hot 36° day. There’s three slides for the kids to use and a life guard watching over.

Positive experience: SO DISAPPOINTED - AMENDED - Problem solved BECAUSE of this review, and I couldn't be more pleased with the way things worked out. Was loving visiting the pool with my step son until last time I visited and spent $20 on goggles for each if us. When mine leaked and the rubber came away from the eyepiece after one use, I asked the attendants what could be done. I was told to 'probably try glue'. I was stunned after buying these only a week earlier, and asked one of the attendants again for help, my goggles were taken, left behind the counter for an hour. I only got them back after asking where they were from the pool and was told, oh they're over there somewhere. I picked them back up, and now BOTH eyepieces were leaking. I again, asked the attendant what to do, now that BOTH eyes were leaking, not just the one. After giving the goggles back again, I asked for a new pair, they said no, and tried to give me back the broken useless pair to which I said, maybe you should return them to your supplier? They said, no, you'll just have to use them as they are. I said, you can keep them, they're useless to me. The attendant threw them on the floor. It was poor behaviour, rude at best. REALLY DISAPPOINTED.... WAS LOVING THIS VENUE. A postscript needs to be added to this review, as I have been contacted by the person in charge from the council, who was absolutely wonderful. He has sorted out this isdue, and apparently when I visit today, the first time since the incident above, I will be given a new pair of goggles, and have been assured that no one will treat me meanly, or be anything but professional. I can't wait to take my step son up for a swim today so we can check out the state of affairs. If all goes well, I'll be back to amend my star rating this evening. MANY thanks to the wonderful HEAD STAFF at the council, who sorted out this problem for me. I feel like a valued customer once again. Miss N.Powell

Fantastic experience: Enjoy using the pool. It is kept neat and clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. We are very fortunate to have a heated pool for hydrotherapy and swimming.

Negative experience: So you are traveling in Western Victoria, it's hot and a break for a swim would just do the trick. Maybe you are using Stawell as a jump off point for visiting the Grampians. I had primed my grandson on how much fun it would be. Rock up at 11 am Saturday morning, it's already 30 deg C, this place opens at 1pm. The sun has been up for seven hours?
