Fantastic experience: Before Sechos: - Yo-yo weightloss with no consistent progress - Terrible form on compound lifts - Struggling to build strength consistently - Inconsistent nutrition - Self-proclaimed deadlift hater After Sechos: - 15 kilos down in 6 months and still dropping consistently - Form on all compound lifts fixed - Squatted two plates for reps for the first time in years, then hit 3 for the first time ever shortly after and still climbing - Strike the right nutrition balance to lose weight sustainably while getting jacked - Deadlift double my weight for reps and still climbing My only regret is not starting sooner. If you want to start taking nutrition and fitness seriously, spend the money, take the guesswork out of the equation and save yourself years of stalled progress like I went through.

Fantastic experience: Michael offers a fun, challenging and supportive environment, and an individualised approach to getting results. I started with little experience in weightlifting, low confidence and a bad knee. Through Michael i am now able to lift without pain in my knee and continue hitting PBs in my weightlifting journey. As a coach Michael is patient, knowledgeable and dedicated; if you commit to the program it will be one of the best decisions you make for your physical and mental health! Fantastic experience: Signed up with Michael as a last resort to rehab a 5 month old back injury and get back into deadlifting. I went from not being able to pick up a barbell without aggravating my injury, to hitting a deadlift PB in just 12 weeks of F2F coaching. Now, not only am I pain free but consistently growing stronger across all SBD lifts. I Ioved Michael’s coaching style so much i’ve decided to stick with him to work on some other goals. Fantastic experience: I have been training with Michael for six months, and the transformation has been remarkable. Under his guidance, I have substantially improved my form, strength, and overall well-being. Before starting with Michael, I had constant back pain caused by two bulging discs. My flexibility was severely limited, as I couldn't bend halfway down my shins. Fantastic experience: I'd been trying to go it on my own for a while, but my fitness journey really took a turn when Michael started helping me. I've never felt stronger and understood more about lifting before in my life, and he caters my programs to my specific weaknesses, needs and goals. The best thing about him as a coach is that he is also always pushing himself to learn and be better, progressing me as a client in the process. He puts the same attention to detail and care into my success as his own, always applying new and better optimised versions of things we were doing, whilst keeping the fundamentals in mind. He explains why we are doing what we are doing as well, giving me insight and a better understanding, which for me personally helps me continue down the path as it doesn't feel aimless. I believe this is because coach Michael knows that he needs to adapt his coaching style from.person to person, as everyone responds differently to different coaching styles.

Fantastic experience: I started S&C with Michael back in Feb and since then I’ve noticed a big improvement in my overall strength, endurance and body composition. I was really skeptical getting back into S&C due to a bad wrist injury and the pain that lifting weights might cause. However, the amount of strength I have been able to gain back in my wrist and the decrease in wrist pain, has been phenomenal. Michael helped me focus a lot more on rehabilitation exercises and really understand the importance of it.
Fantastic experience: Recently completed the performance assessment with Coach Mike. As a BJJ athlete this was extremely helpful. It addressed multiple components relating to performance. It was very detailed and insightful. The report I received back regarding my results was extremely thorough and provided me with a game plan as well as ideas moving forward as to how I can progress my training and what I need to work on. It was very eye opening, I will be doing this again in a couple months time to see how much I have improved based off Coach Mikes recommendations. Highly recommend this service for athletes.

His friendly but focused approach to coaching keeps our sessions on point and with a great vibe. He posesses a strong knowledge base of human biomechanics and uses this to create a bespoke training plan that fits me well, specifically to addressing my mechanical and fitness imbalances to meet my martial art sport and life goals. Fantastic experience: Since training with Michael (almost 2 years now) my overall fitness and strength has improved drastically. I don't get to see Michael in person much as I am really busy but he is always checking in, firstly to make sure I am doing okay mentally and physically, and secondly to check in on my program and progression. I only have time to train once a week and Michael has been very understanding, writing me programs that are not only effective and efficient, but also do not have a negative impact on my daily work duties. Its rare to come across a coach who is educated and experienced enough to cater to someone like me who leads such an active and demanding lifestyle - all without judgment. In July 2020, I sat at 20% BF and 57kgs. Since following Michaels program, today (4/3/22) I am 12.5% BF and 55kgs. I am beyond pleased :D Thank you Michael - you are the best!

Fantastic experience: I have been with Coach Michael since after lockdown (~6 months and counting) in an effort to put my health in focus. Since then I have seen myself go from strength to strength (no pun intended), enjoying every session with lots of variety and never feeling like I am burnt out. Michael's training philosophy has sets him apart in my eyes with his focus on intelligent sustainable progression and training safely. In short, Michael will help you get the most bang-for-your-buck for the amount of effort you put in, realising your potential sooner and most importantly with proper form. I am by no means a powerlifter nor any form of elite athlete and you don't need to be too - I recommend his coaching to anyone at any level, including time-poor professionals like myself.
