Strength House Gym

Fantastic experience: What a great facility, google search landed me here for a gym close to the airport when I needed to kill 2 hrs before a flight. State of the art equipment where old meets new. This place has everything including an A grade recovery room with saunas and ice baths. It’s a one stop shop that I’ll definitely be visiting again when I’m Sydney.

Positive experience: It’s a nice gym but pricey membership. My biggest issue is the wellness zone (sauna and spa) which adds $40per week to the membership but you have to book 12 hours in advance and they charge you $20 if you cancel last minute. Compare to virgin active where you can use this facilities as you wish without booking I find this a bit of a headache (and their membership cost the same!!!!) Mainly because hardly anyone ever uses it anyway so for the cost of membership it should just be open to the members to use . I think this booking system is discouraging lot of people of using the space.

Fantastic experience: Definitely my favourite gym in Sydney. They have the best equipments & I love the atmosphere the staff is always very helpful. The recovery center is 10/10 ✨

Fantastic experience: Best, most well-equipped strength gym with equipment I've only seen in the US. They really have everything covered when it comes to strength training, and the owners love adding new equipment. Overall, I'd highly recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: Enjoying the SHG - there is never a wait for a Machine, the variety of machines is so good and it has an easy going welcoming vibe.

Negative experience: I reached out to Strength House Gym via Instagram to inquire about a membership promo, but I was met with an unprofessional and rude response, where they accused me of being a scammer. I’m still confused about what led to such a hostile reaction, as I asked a straightforward question politely and it was my first time interacting with them. The only reason I can think of is that my account has 0 followers, but I don’t understand how that would label me as a scammer. As a potential customer, I expected a friendly interaction, but instead, I received an unnecessarily rude reply. I hope the Strength House takes steps to improve their customer service and act with more professionalism.

Fantastic experience: This is a phenomenal training facility! Joel is always optimising the exercise space and equipment options. Staff and trainers are very friendly and knowledgeable

Fantastic experience: Most aesthetic gym in Sydney with all the top tier equipment. So much thought has gone into what equipment has been purchased and it shows. The staff are super helpful and friendly, makes the atmosphere even better. Great community of like-minded people here too. Price is very decent and fair for what you get here. I can't even go to another gym without feeling like I'm getting a subpar experience now. SHG is easily outclasses all the rest.

Fantastic experience: I am the Strength Coach at SHG and my favourite part about the gym is the sense of community and the judgement free zone! We have such a multicultural community, from all walks of life and we all support each other. We have a massive space between 2 levels and a large range of machines, benches, squat racks and strength equipment - so you can always use what you want when you want.
