Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend this gym enough we have been coming for almost a year and a half and everytime we walk through the door we are welcomed with so much love. The girls go above and beyond for my little my 2 little girls, as soon as my 3 year old wakes up she’s excited to come to gym kindy If your looking for a family run gym who actually cares about you and your goals look no further Thank you hype team we love you!

Positive experience: Lovely staff great gym, however very disappointed with lack of compassion I signed up for a yearly pass not knowing in the near future I had to move home 45mins away from the gym and also had personal health issues causing me to be unwell and couldn’t attend the gym. Such a shame as now I’ve lost $895.

We understand how frustrating it must be to feel that you’ve lost out on your investment, especially given the circumstances. We always strive to offer the best possible service and support to our members. As we are a business we do have our policies in place, we do recognize that exceptional situations arise that is why we do allow on selling of a membership without having to pay a transfer fee. Fantastic experience: Clean gym with friendly and helpful staff. Loads of good quality equipment however I do miss the old adjustable benches as they could stop at a lot more levels than the new ones. I am very grateful to have a good quality gym so close to home.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. Staff are nice and clearly care about the gym as you can always see them going around moving attatchments and cleaning machines. I wish the aircon was slightly colder but I think that’s just a me thing. I wish there was a bicep machine but I understand it would be hard to fit in with all the current machines. Thank you to all the team at hype

Positive experience: It’s a good gym with great equipment, clean and organised well. Downsides are air conditioning in the mornings in the functional area (just feels a bit stuffy). Also wish classes/group sessions wouldn’t run in the functional area when the gym is already quite small. This is the only real “floor space” and even in busier periods like Saturday mornings, large groups take over the space. Don’t think I’ve even had barely a smile or hello from the girl on the front desk. I just go for the location and equipment and try avoid busier periods. Also not sure why they opted for a steam room over a sauna.
Hi Holly, thank you so much for the feedback. We are pleased to hear you are enjoying our equipment. We try hard to stay on top of cleanliness and organization so it's great when that is recognized! Unfortunately our aircon regulator is in the office, which is locked in the mornings. It is something we are aware of with the hotter weather, and we are looking into correcting! In the mean time we do have the switches for the fans that you are able to pop on if that helps. Steam rooms have very similar benefits to sauna's and we have found our steam room to be very popular with our members but also allow us to keep on top of hygiene a lot quicker and easier with the tiles. Sorry that you haven't received a smile or hello, we always try to catch our members eyes and make an effort to. Maybe we haven't been quick enough, or have been distracted with other tasks when you've walked in. In any case, as a team we will most definitely make a conscious effort to try and catch every member to say hello to. We value you as a member and are so pleased you continue to choose Hype :)
Fantastic experience: This is the best gym. I usually never take the time to leave reviews, but feel compelled to for this business. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, from reception to class instructors to creche staff. It's clean, well maintained, good variety of fitness equipment and the Creche is run so well . Most importantly it's the staff that make this such a great place , smiles all around. I love it

Fantastic experience: Love the gym and especially love the crèche! It’s been amazing to get back to the gym and know that my two little ones are being well looked after and engaged is wonderful learning activities. The gym facilities are always clean and there is a huge variety of classes for everyone.

Positive experience: Great facility for both new and veteran gym goers. Clean and fresh equipment (alphafit strong). Own headphones are a must - music must be controlled by the same staff maybe? No towel no train and enclosed shoes are part of the gym rules but staff don’t seem to follow this. Right next door to a supp shop and physio is a plus.

Great advice about bringing headphones, we do choose to keep the music somewhat generic as it is difficult to cater to differing tastes. With regards to the gym rules, we do take these policies seriously, however it can be difficult to monitor in a 24 hour facility and sometimes this can be unintentionally missed. Please feel free to come and see us at reception if you have any further feedback as we are always happy to have a chat.

Fantastic experience: Hype is a awesome gym, the layout, equipment and facilities are great. Always up to date with equipment. Iv put in 2x requests for equpiment and both were then added to the gym a few weeks later. Hype has very lovely staff to make you feel welcome and comfortable to speak with. Crèche is a bonus if you have kids too plus there classes. I recommend

Fantastic experience: I would recommend hype to anyone that is looking for a clean friendly gym. It has great group fitness class options and very friendly instructors. Easy to get to and the car park is well lit. Facilities are great.

Fantastic experience: Joined up Friday and just met up with a pt who helped me sort out a plan to achieve goals. Feels like a safe environment which in turn means I’m more excited to go. I’ve missed engaging in physical activity if this such and can’t wait to go again ❤️

Fantastic experience: Great gym & workout facility which operates 24-7. Plenty of equipment available & the staff are extremely helpful & professional. Located right in the heart of Pimpama in the new shopping precinct along Yawalpah Road. Thoroughly recommend this venue for all your health & workout needs.

Positive experience: Loved my session yesterday as there was no music playing. Walked in this morning & walked straight out as the music was SO loud! Maybe think of people that come to the gym that aren’t in their 20’s & don’t want to listen to loud, doof doof music??? 99.9% of people listen to their own music anyway?

Try as we might, you can see that we do not always get it right, but we appreciate our members taking the time to give us feedback so that we can act upon it to keep the atmosphere and music levels pleasant for everyone.
