Plus Fitness

Positive experience: Great gym since the renovations, usually pretty clean, big space. Probably the best Plus in the area.. but the toilets could use an air diffuser or 6, and constantly the most insipid, generic music with zero variety.

Fantastic experience: I have been to about 7 different addresses of Plus Fitness across Sydney in recent weeks. The Penrith rooms were spacious, with more room to step around floor equipment - and had good (not great) air-conditioning, unlike others that have several wall fans. I was pleased to find ample room to park my bicycle inside on a Saturday afternoon. I certainly hope - if not expect that, during staffed hours. Other western Sydney addresses of Plus Fitness do not have inside parking for bicycles - but ought do so, please? What continues to disappoint is the volume of music. - is anyone paying attention to it anyway, when many are wearing ear-pieces? I also find the hip-hop or otherwise is out of cadence to my lifting weights - and is most certainly out of sync to anyone cycling.

Negative experience: Contract expired after emailing to cancel. Should have had two weeks after left to use gym but locked out. Then another payment gets deducted from the account. So frustrating. No one to speak with on on the phone

Fantastic experience: Great gym, everything is clean, no bully's. Only thing that's bad is you can't play metal on the music thingy, it's only club and pop.

Negative experience: Gym is nice but man please do something about your toilets, toilets always look like someone was fighting for their life in there

Negative experience: Waited at door to get in. Staff hours on door not write and it was closed. Didnt see nobody. Went back later and there was a chubby girl with brown there vacuming. Rang the bell 3 times. Feel like she was ignoring me but don’t want judge. Then she came to door. Didn’t invite me in. Chat with me at the door. She clearly didn’t want to be there. So after 2 minutes I left. And you can smile you wont die. Bad customer service. Not going back.

Fantastic experience: Pretty decent gym. Has most of what you want (if you’re particular about equipment go check it out first), and it’s mostly well maintained. It’s a newer gym so all modern stuff in good condition. Usually well cleaned. It’s quiet in the AM, morning through midday it never gets too busy. The is a bit of an after work rush. Far better than other local 24/7 consumer gyms. Only quit because I moved away. Staff are friendly, but don’t really take an interest in wandering the gym floor to help people. That’s fine, though. If you want personal attention book a PT session. You get a free one when you sign up to work out how to use stuff. All in all, pretty good place to train.

Positive experience: Always clean and tidy and has a good range of equipment- wish there was just a few more machines and newer ones too.

Fantastic experience: Really convenient open 24 hours People who workout there are friendly and it isn't normally crowd. Not always staffed but there's a sign telling you when the staff are on duty and their pretty friendly and happy to show you how to use the equipment It's also pretty clean.

Fantastic experience: This gym is easily the best fitness facility in Penrith. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, the layout is spot on, the other members are friendly and the atmosphere as a whole is a solid 11/10. Highly, highly recommend.

Positive experience: Yeah, it's pretty good. Spacious and nice equipment. The only gripe I had was the staff asked me to leave on a Saturday lol what? I thought it was 24/7. Oh well. It's nicer than the one in Glenmore Park anyway. Could do with a vending machine for drinks as well.

Fantastic experience: Everything you need

Negative experience: Cheap fees but that's about it. Hand sanitizer, hand soap, machine wipes and toilet paper are often empty for weeks at a time. Staff spend 80% of their time locked in their office, the other 20% is reserved for chatting with their friends when the come to workout/stand around machines rendering them unusable by anyone else. Spent 35mins today listening to a female staffer talking to her friends about who f**ked who at schollies. Crossfit machine broken for 6 months without even a sign. Scale batteries flat for 3 weeks before being fixed. Weight plates left everywhere which staff see but never fix. Spend money on useless equipment like a ski machine which has yet to be used by a single person rather than something practical like a second hammer curl rope. Weight droppers, grunters, no towel trainers and even shirtless people can be seen on a daily basis. Spend the extra $15 a month and go to anytime fitness. Disappointment 24/7.
