Anytime Fitness Corrimal

Fantastic experience: Been an AF member since 2022 and have been consistently attending AF Corrimal since 2023. The gym is always clean and equipment is well looked after, with staff always welcoming and supportive, especially club manager Ash.

Negative experience: I'm reaching out to shed light on an incident that occured at Anytime Fitness Corrimal that left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and invidious. The incident occured last week on my visit to Anytime Fitness Corrimal where I was approched by the manager Ash regarding my footwear. I was genuinely appalled with the manner in which I was spoken as it was very antagonistic and instantly left me feeling exasperate and humiliated. Following our short conversation I was then asked by Ash to leave the premises. I'm a resonable and approachable person and have a great relationship with other Anytime Fitness staff including Tinnel AF Fairy Meadow. I believe this incident could have been resolved with better customer service and simply being spoken to by a branch manager with some level off decency. A few days later to my surprise I noticed another member wearing socks and slides, I brought this to Ash's attention as she previously asked me to leave for wearing enclosed crocs. This member had been in the gym for quite a while before I had approached Ash regarding the iniquity given my prior incident she proceeded to justify it by saying "it's because he is a new signup and had only been there for 20 minutes". Please find attached a photo off my enclosed crocs that I was asked to leave the premises over and a photo of the members slides/socks in which he was just signed up by Ash and allowed to train. Also please find attached a video off the way I was spoken to regarding the above. I took the video to protect my rights as a member off Anytime Fitness and also because I felt very intimidated and uncomfortable. I'm aware that the club has cameras which record at all times as well. I'm concerned for the business image and cunstomer service after dealing with Ash furthermore I'm worried for Ash's wellbeing as her behaviour may be reflective off someone on an illicit substance. I have been a member with this franchise for a decade now and never had an issue untill recently with Ash. I believe her position as manager needs to be re-evaluated. Ash has clearly dropped the ball and acted extremely unprofessional, with rude comments and eye rolling and dissmissive body language. She claimed to be right and I was told it was wrong in anything I said. I was disrespected unfairly treated and abused verbally, I wish for this matter to be further addressed and I respectfully request to be informed in the outcome as I dont feel confotable dealing with Ash or tarining at Anytime Fitness anymore. Prior to this incident I reccomended several work colleges to this gym who where going to sign up to workout with me however they have now reconsidered becoming members. I will also be explaining my horrible experience and the way I was treated to colleges in the construction industry in an attempt to avoid similar treatment I endured. I'm also considering leaving a google review indicating all off the above and my unfair, discrimative treatment.

Negative experience: Any customer of this business beware of giving your bank details to this organisation as their manager has given mine + another girls bank details to a third party without our knowledge or permission who have deducted money from our accounts. police have been notified and a fraud investigation underway

Fantastic experience: My favourite of all the anytime fitness’ in the Illawarra. Has every single machine and equipment you could ask for, the most extensive leg workout range i’ve ever seen from an anytime fitness. Staff are always very welcoming and happy to help with anything you need. Never too busy and spaced very well, can’t ask for much more.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness is an amazing gym. The facilities and equipment are always clean and well maintained. I Assume it has been built or renovated recently as it is in great condition. The gym itself is deceivingly large once you step inside. There is plenty of space and availability for machines/equipment even during peak periods. I have rarely ever had to wait to use a machine and there is always at least a few spaces available in the multiple sections for Squat, deadlifts, bench etc There is more than enough for any gym-goer from lifting heavy, cardio to rolling out and stretching etc The toilets and showers are clean and plentiful and there’s plenty of space to a store gym bag and get ready for work in front of the mirror. The disinfectant wipes and hand sanitiser stations are always stocked which is particularly important in these times. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. The joining process was simple and informative, made easy for anyone looking at joining a gym for the first time or in general. Gab in particular is fantastic and has been approachable and helpful whenever I’ve had any questions or issues. This particular club goes beats any expectations for what you would expect from a major commercial gym franchise.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Anytime Fitness at Corrimal has been excellent. The facilities are well kept and clean at all times, plenty of variation in equipment. Everyone including the patrons have been great during my visits, even willing to help answer questions regarding certain exercises. The staff are great, especially the manager Gabby who has gone out of her way to help with anything I needed. If your looking for a good place to workout don’t hesitate to get in touch with them.

I had been searching for years for such a Gym , the machinery , atmosphere and safety compliments my Disabilities and heightens my mental health and thus my recovery. Without the silly bells n whistles of show pony gyms.. I feel like I belong before I am even thru the door and that's due to the smiles and professionalism of this Gyms wonderful Staff. Fantastic experience: Anytime Corrimal is a fantastic gym. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful , caring and have relationships with all members. The gym is a tight knit community with everyone getting along and helping each other, which makes for a positive environment. The new renovations have been amazing and have helped tremendously in terms of space and the inclusion of new machines is terrific. I believe everyone who attends this gym loves it, the vibe is amazing and there is not much more you can ask for from a gym.

Negative experience: The new floor plan is too much like a cost saver just trying to get as many machines in as possible. Using the elliptical closest to the wall, you have a hot light shining on your face, there is less airflow than a public school room in early summer. Generally this renovation was completed solely to increase capacity . It doesn’t seem like they thought what it would be like to exercise in each spot of the gym. I personally would have preferred another increase in price as opposed to the renovations.

Fantastic experience: A gym that is well equipped (including sanitising options) and open 24/7. Decked out with a wife array of plate and pin loaded equipment (think Hammer strength) as well as great options for free weights (3 cages/racks and two Olympic lifting/deadlift platforms). Definitely worth a visit.
