Negative experience: This was once a good gym for many years until it came under new management, the new people running it have completely butchered it's once great reputation.
Negative experience: Too many staff members don’t know what to do. They’re there just to fill in the time. The Gym style is worse than a garage. The layout is horrible. You could never get training done because of the convenience hours and the public holidays they choose to take off and the horrible machines. Everything is old everything is duplicates of machines unnecessary and missing the most important ones No benchpress, you gotta make your own by using a squat machine No privacy in men’s Change room For that premium price weekly is so not Worth it
Negative experience: This used to be a great gym. I have been a member for about 8 years. My whole family have been members and we had most of our street sign up as well. Unfortunately this has past. I am not renewing my membership. New owners have completely destroyed the vibe of this place. New owners have no idea what they are doing. They have said they are doing reno which has been going on for months. There is equipment broken which takes months to get repaired. Equipment has been removed and not returned. So many members you can't count them. And here is the icing on the cake. They have increased the prices making them one of the most expensive gyms in the area. New owners are only focused on the dollar and have no idea on how to run a business and are disrespectful. I have asked them twice to give me a call and I haven't received a call they obviously couldn't be bothered. I saw a sign up this morning saying "bullying and harassment of staff will not be tolerated". Why would clients be upset if the gym was well run and the owners knew waht they were doing. To any prospective members. Don't come to this gym.
Appreciate your feedback, we will endeavour to improve the gym as we continue to make further changes and improvement which will include removal equipment to make room for new ones. Hope you find a competitive pricing gym that suits your needs.

Negative experience: Unbelievable waste of money, going there called to cancel my membership and four weeks, they haven’t cancelled it because you need to get to the office then after 4 weeks money still taking from the account after went to the office cancelled it cost me another 195 dollars and I said no more paying they said no 2 more payment and it will be cancel said wow paid up of 300 dollars with out training I advise you not to sign up with them Noticed the kindness people ever you will see are the customer service at the counter and I’m sorry I have to do this it was not fair thanks
And this is why we give people the option when first signing up, do you want a no lock in contract, or a lock in contract. If "you choose" a lock in contract, then you want to cancel during the term of that contract, then there is a cancellation fee, this is the same as any other gym. This is why it gets explained to everyone before they sign up, then "they" decide if they want to lock into a contract or not. It is your choice.
Negative experience: Called twice to cancel the membership as I can't go there atm but they're not doing it and still taking fees from my account, even though I'm not in a contract anymore.
Syed called and he was explained how to cancel his membership. He became rude and abusive to staff, so much so that they had to end the call. Some people think they can abuse people instead of just listening and doing what needs to be done.
Positive experience: Very good customer service and staff are so friendly, kind and so helpful.

Thanks Ben, we are glad you are enjoying Fitness Forum, we are happy to have you part of our family. We are very fussy about the cleaning of the gym and it is great to hear that it enables you to you be able to train, even with your asthma.
Negative experience: Most of the time there is no parking. The access to premises with the phone is awful. The gym looks old and not clean. There is no air circulation that is needed also because some people carry bad odour. The equipment like dumbbells are old and look rusty and dirty.
We appreciate all your feedback and possibly if you spoke to one of our friendly staff, we could have addressed most of your issues. We have a massive council carpark out the front of the premises, does it get busy, yes, the same as any shopping centre carpark, the most I have ever had to do is 2 laps before I got a parking spot, which maybe took 5 mins max. As for cleaning, we have had some issues previously with our regular cleaners missing things here and there, but as soon as we are aware of an issue we jump on it straight away. We pay them to provide an amazing service and if they aren't performing then we jump on it straight away. Along with the professional cleaners, our staff go around cleaning the gym during their shifts, wiping down and sanitising the equipment. We have a phone App to access the gym, but if anyone has any difficulties using it, we can provide a dongle for anyone who may not be so tech savvy. Or anyone who would just prefer to use a dongle. Like most places where people work out, there are people who sweat, some more than others. And on the odd occasion we have had to have the hard conversation with the odd member about using deodorant, we don't like smells either, when they are excessive. But unlike a lot of gyms, we can and do have the ability to open our windows and let the air circulate. Plus we have staff on, all hours we are open to be able to control and monitor the gym. As for our equipment being old and rusty. Is our equipment band new and Insta ready, no. But is it clean and well maintained, absolutely. Our focus is on providing a safe and family friendly environment, by having staff on all hours so that we can monitor everything happening in the gym. We believe that this is much more important than looking great on Instagram.

Negative experience: Worst gym I have been too. Poor communication from the staff. I went in last week to cancel as this month was the last month of my contract. Spoke to one of guys over the phone the week before to which they said to come in asap and cancel but did not say I had to give a month notice before and so I will be charged for the whole month now. When I came in last week to cancel the lady staff that served me also did not mention I will be charged for the rest of the month. I asked her twice before leaving if I will need to pay anything, to which she just said the last payment will be this week starting 15/8. I was okay with that but seeing the latest payment notice I saw the date last payment would be the 30/8. No communication beforehand to let us know to come in and give a month notice or your membership is expiring. Bad experience and would not recommend.
Janet you had been informed on at least 3 previous occasions, once when you joined and twice after that, about the cancellation policy. Not including again today. You were informed that you are welcome to cancel at anytime during your contract if you pay the cancellation fee, which you have decided not to do. You are still within the minimum term of your contract, which doesn't end till the end of the month, like you just stated in your review. So now you have had a failed payment, the payment you mentioned on the 15/8, and despite everything being explained to you on multiple occasions, apparently we are at fault.
Negative experience: Trained here for 3 years it was a great place to train and enjoyed it very much with great staff, sadly this experience was hindered overtime for me due to Brendan the manager who was very rude all the time and seemed like every time i trained and he was working he always seemed to have a problem.
Unfortunately, if gym rules aren't followed then you will be pulled up on this each time. So if this was every time you were in then what does that say! This is why we consider ourselves a family gym, because we will say something to people who aren't doing the right thing within the gym.
Positive experience: I find Fitness Forum Health Club great for number of reasons: * great staff members * good rates * equipment is great * atmosphere is comfortable * reasonable opening and closing hours It's a very comfortable gym to train at and I'm definitely achieving my goals.

Negative experience: Not happy as a customer. As gym health and facility they don't not work towards people goals.I had moved to another address and rang this gym multiple times and email them as well to explain the change in my circumstances as I could no longer continue my membership. The gym staff receptionist refused to cancel my membership and forcefully kept my membership continuing. Then put me on hold but then they still extend my membership to another year. I have multiple times sending them a proof of what they requested from me but they still not helpful. They did not reduce the fees. I had to let them know a fair trading will be involve and will lodge a complaint. As well will be calling liverpool council to assess the gym rating as bussiness provider since they have been multiple times been called for not looking after thier customers. Even as a bussiness they should be looking after customer satisfaction but instead they threat customer by using debt collector. What a joke. I have a witness on the day I signed off my contract that if I need to cancel my membership for valid reseaon they will cancel. It has been more than 8 months where they keep taking money from me. They have not even sending me a notification to renew my membership if I want to but instead they ignored it. As gym facility their first goal should be customer and providing quality service not forcing customers to lodge a complaint thr fair trading for a simple matter which could be resolved with quality and value management.
Thank you for your feedback. After providing multiple timeholds for you above and beyond what your membership was entitled to, which we didn’t have to. You then demanded to cancel your membership, with no reason provided to us and refusing to pay the cancellation fee because you didn’t want to. All terms were thoroughly explained at the start of the membership, as we do for all new members. If as you are now stating, you have moved out of our area, please email proof of this to [email protected] and we will reduce your cancellation fee. Unfortunately if you just call us and make threats, you do not get all the information that could be provided, compared to if you were to call and just explain your situation. So after "actually" getting an email from this member this was all sorted within a 24 hour period, so no one else was ever involved. As the abusive phone calls started the day prior. We are a family business and we wouldn't have been awarded the 2021 Most Outstanding Fitness Service in Liverpool, if we behaved the way this person states.
Negative experience: took me a while to finally write this review i was not gonna do it but it pop up on my search engine anyway i joint the gym and end up not going in for almost two years i was doing some donation lol that was my fault i was lazy so i decided to cancel i when in to cancel they told me no manager onsite to cancel i have to come back next week. At this time i'm owing them 200 bux coz i have no money in my account due to loss of job when back the following week and get told the same thing no one to help me cancel as i told them of my situation get told to come back again so i decided to ring first before going in and was told the same thing no manager to cancel my account so i ask the girl if they can put my account on hold she inform me i need to write a letter to put it on hold and maybe this time i ll pay the late fee and get myself to training so i did that and couple of days later they said no following a call from a debt collector for a fee of 488 dollars wow thanks fitness forum
We have staff on site every hour we are open, any of these staff can handle a cancellation. No manager is required to cancel a membership. Even if the manager wasn't on site he is always available on the phone for staff to call if needed. By making an anonymous review we can not look into the situation to see if it was handled correctly or not. Fantastic experience: Great Gym, has all the equipments you need and the service is good. Super friendly staffs, you even get a free workout program when you sign up. Keep up the good work guys.

Negative experience: Biased culture towards my partner, basic gym & unfriendly staff.
We are a very multicultural gym with staff that are also multicultural. If you have a complaint against a particular staff member and would like to bring it to the attention of management, we would love to receive it. You are welcome to email [email protected] with details of your complaint.
Negative experience: I had relocated to another state and rang this gym multiple times to explain the change in my circumstances as I could no longer continue my membership there since I was not living in the state anymore. The gym staff receptionist refused to cancel my membership and forcefully kept my membership continuing. After multiple calls to the gym I was then put onto a manager and owner of the gym club as I explained my situation to him and he had understood of my circumstances about my request to cancel he then continued in secret to keep my membership direct debit ongoing till this very day and did not cancel my membership! At first glance they pretend to be very friendly until they sign you up and don't let you out. I am no in the process of taking legal action and contacting fair trading due to this disgusting con artist scam behaviour. DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS GYM!
We have never had a member by the name of Jim Jonez join our gym. We believe you have left a review for the incorrect place. Please remove your incorrect review. If you were to be a member with us, all we would have needed from you, would have been proof of the new address, either a bill or driver's licence emailed to us. Then the membership would have been cancelled, had it been with us. But as stated, you were never a member with us and there are other gym's named Fitness Forum, so please remove your incorrect review. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Honestly the best gym I have tried so far and I have been to all of them. Never have I been so comfortable and welcomed into a family orientated well oiled team like I have been coming into this gym. Not only are the trainer hands on in helping you accomplish your goals The employees including the manager and all the team working for Fitness Forum are also amazing people The equipment is top both in the latest and newest but also the environment is just an amazing energy Trust me give it a shot and you will not be disappointed. Fantastic experience: Started out as part of an 8 week challenge and was hooked straight away. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, everyone is friendly and the gym has all the equipment one needs. Happy to recommend this gym to everyone whether you are a beginner or experienced gym goer.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at this gym for a number of years now. Recently I have had to see Shane about some muscular issues with upper back/shoulders and lower legs. If you find yourself regularly having to see someone for a massage you need to stop wasting your money and go and see Shane. He will have you sorted in no time flat. I can even refer my friends and family to shane who are not members of the gym. Thank you Shane!!!
Positive experience: Lost quite alot of motivation due to the early closing times of the gym (and yes, I consider 7pm weekend and 9pm friday closing times very early). I don't see how early closing times is a smart business decision. Think about it, invest in a 24 hr unlock door and you can even charge consumers more and perhaps even cut down on staff hours saving yourselves money. Other than that, friendly staff and the gym get's the job done all other things considered. Edit; I'd like to clarify that i am infact a member.
Thank you for your feedback Austin. Considering you have never been a member of Fitness Forum I can understand why you lost motivation. It is hard to be motivated about something that you have never experienced. I am sure if you actually decided to join as a member we could find many ways to keep you motivated. And yes we could become a 24hr gym like any other gym out there but we believe that customer service is the most important thing to us. Which is why every hour we are open we have staff available to assist our members. And yes we open limited hours on Fridays and over the weekend, when it is quite in the gym and open to midnight every other day of the week and are fully staffed for these hours like I mentioned. Therefore providing customer service to our members and a feeling of safety to all our members who can't attend during the daylight hours. So Austin, if you change your mind and decide to become motivated enough to actually visit our gym I would be happy to arrange a free trial for you.
