Negative experience: Poor customer service, waited almost 4 months to cancel my membership after sending multiple messages. Once they finally replied, they instructed to email the cancellation department, and took them 4 weeks to respond via email. Absolutely absurd, shouldn't take 4 months to cancel a gym membership while still paying for it.

Negative experience: I had been a dedicated member of Snap Fitness for over a year, diligently paying my membership fees every week without fail. Despite my inconsistent attendance due to a hectic schedule, I always appreciated the friendly staff and the positive environment at the gym. However, my experience took a dramatic turn for the worse when I decided to switch to another gym that offered more motivational support, something I desperately needed. In February, I began sending text messages to Snap Fitness to express my desire to cancel my membership. These messages were completely ignored for about a month. When they finally responded in March, they instructed me to send an email for the cancellation. Despite this, I made the effort to visit the gym in person, explained my situation, and was wished good luck. Believing the matter was resolved, I sent an official email in April requesting the cancellation of my membership. At no point during my membership was I under any contract, which should have made this process straightforward. Yet, months later, I was shocked to receive a call from a collections agency claiming that I owed $147. This unexpected and unjust charge was deeply disappointing and upsetting. The most frustrating part was that Snap Fitness did not even have the courtesy to call me directly to resolve the issue. Instead, they chose to escalate it to collections without any prior warning or attempt at communication. This unprofessional and impersonal approach has left me feeling betrayed and deeply dissatisfied. I am now contesting this charge and am prepared to fight it to the fullest extent. I will be filing formal complaints with the Office of Fair Trading and the ACCC. It’s infuriating that such a positive initial experience could turn so negative due to poor communication and customer service.

We continuously strive to provide world class facilities and a positive atmosphere to all our members. As way to protect ourself and yourself we have terms and conditions in all our member contract which state that cancellation notification should be done via email correspondence. I am sure you will understand this requirement. Whenever we get cancellation notification via SMS, we would always respond to the member and ask them to rather do the cancellation notification via email. Additionally, I have a copy of your contract in my office. I have asked the club manager to provide you with it, if you still require a copy. You are always welcome at our gym and we are open to any discussion you might want to have. Kind Regards
Negative experience: Felt uncomfortable with environment. Children running around. Water fountain faulty.

The club manager will investigate the water fountain immediately. Additionally, we would appreciate if you could provide us with a date and approximate time frame for when you were inconvenienced by children running around, so that we can address the matter immediately. As you know Snap Fitness has a very strict policy on children in their gyms and no under 16's are allowed unsupervised by their guardian or parent. Fantastic experience: I joined Yarabilba Snap end of July 2023, ever since joining, I've been greeted personally each time I go. Clean gym, machines and equipment are well looked after. Gym manager Hayley is accommodating and approachable if there are any concerns or needing any advice, she helps with a smile on her face. Jaiden is always around also, he's friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience: An Amazing judge free space to workout in the equipment is phenomenal, the workers behind it are so kind and super friendly and will help you out if you have any questions. Had Jaidin as my personal trainer and he was amazing. Hayley the manager is super friendly and helpful. Broke is very loud and enthusiastic. Would definitely recommend this Gym if you are looking to get out there!

Fantastic experience: My experience with Snap Fitness Yarrabilba has been nothing but delightful from the day I signed up. The gym is always clean, well managed and a comfortable size that is filled with a multitude of equipment that can fulfil any gym goer no matter what level of experience they have. The staff in this establishment bring a whole new level of enjoyment and comfort to the gym. The gym manager Hayley is always delightful and gives a warm welcome each day. Not only does she make me feel comfortable whilst attending the gym, she is extremely passionate and knowledgeable within her role and is always willing to lend a hand with any of the members needs or queries. She definitely brings a warm and supportive vibe which makes it one of the best experiences I’ve had at a gym. The personal trainers Brooke and Jaidin round out the team, which also bring their own wealth of knowledge and experience to the gym. They are both enjoyable to be around and also willing to lend a hand where needed, wether it be a hand with form on certain lifts or a spot, or even just a friendly chat when it’s needed. All round amazing group of trainers which makes the experience at the gym very enjoyable. Without them the gym would definitely not be the same.

Fantastic experience: Snap Yarrabilba is the gym you want to train at! Every time you walk thru the gym doors you always welcomed by Haley and the other trainers. The gym, is always kept cleaned and the equipment is all in excellent condition. Haley listens to gym request and pays attention to what is needed to make the gym, the ultimate training ground. Social Saturdays are where it’s at, thanks to Haley and Brooke for putting in the effort to organise those as well.

Fantastic experience: I'll start with the Veggies and end with Dessert. Veggies: It's good to see investment going into the club, however from a members prospective it's poorly prioritised. We don't need fancy plants at the entrance and extra added mirrors, the space could be better utilised for more variety equipment. Desset: Manager Hayley does an incredible job looking after the place. It's always clean, well organised and provides a feel-safe environment. Every day when I enter the gym I'm well greeted by her and the staff. Which leads into another great quality, her picking of PT's. Brooke and Jaidin are very knowledgeable and are always around the club to give a lending hand, from dietary advice, form correction, to just a friendly chat. Hayley does an incredible job managing the club and her team, and I'd happily stick with a club managed by her!

Negative experience: Really poor customer service. As a foundational member, I was incorrectly advised multiple times there was no lock in contract. Despite this, I have just received a call from a debt collector, which Ill be fighting. Avoid like the plague my monthly payment supported them through.

Fantastic experience: A spacious, modern, bright and clean gym that is staffed by some friendly people. The equipment here is in great condition and there is plenty of it. On my visits it has never felt overcrowded and I've never had to wait to use any of the equipment.

Fantastic experience: This gym has everything you need. It’s always clean and is easily accessible. Located at the front end of Yarrabilba. The staff are great and even better with their responses to questions asked in person on over social media. The atmosphere in general is great.

Fantastic experience: I only have recently joined snap fitness and I’m very happy with the club. Everything is always clean, the staff are friendly and there’s always a machine to use. You also get 2 free pt sessions when you join, which is amazing! Frank the pt was super easy to talk to (especially for someone with social anxiety like myself! Highly recommended snap fitness.

Fantastic experience: I have never been to a gym before, and after having a baby & caesarean 7 months ago, I thought I'd give it ago to try and regain strength & my body back after pregnancy. I love it! Perry has helped me find the right kind of exercises I need to do as I am "c section/ postpartum". Love going there, awesome atmosphere & friendly staff Been going for just over a month now and I'm already seeing results

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Doesn’t come with a pool, but you can bring your own shell pool from Kmart, or fill the sink up and go for a dip. Perry & Frank are fantastic to deal with. Frank is helping me with a lower back injury, and I’m making so much progress! Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: The staff are always friendly and helpful, the gym is very clean and tidy and the PT sessions with Frank are great.
