Fantastic experience: Avanti Health Care is the only gym that truly puts people's health and care first above everything else. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the welcoming and supportive atmosphere. One of the standout features is the on-the-floor support available for everyone exercising. The staff ensures that each member gets the attention they need, which makes working out both safe and enjoyable. The automation of machines with customised programs is fantastic, allowing you to do specific sets without the risk of overdoing it. This thoughtful approach really enhances the workout experience. Micah was incredibly friendly and made the whole sign-up process extremely smooth and hassle-free. His professionalism and welcoming attitude made my first visit memorable. All the professional trainers, including Charlie, Mitch, and Mahaliya, are very supportive and knowledgeable. Dirk, who did our initial assessment, is especially impressive. He is skilled and professional, always motivating us and bringing out the best in everyone. Christine’s yoga sessions are the cherry on top. Her technique is amazing, and the sessions are both relaxing and invigorating. Her gentle instructions help us go beyond our abilities in a soothing and supportive way. The environment at Avanti Health Care is super clean, and the amenities and facilities are top-notch. Every aspect of this gym is designed with members' well-being in mind. The fellow gym members are also lovely, creating a friendly and motivating community that makes every visit enjoyable. Every single staff member at Avanti Southport has my utmost respect. They create a supportive, encouraging, and genuinely caring atmosphere. I wish them all the best of luck. If you are serious about your health, want to age gracefully, and stay well, you must join or at least visit Avanti Health Care to see for yourself. It’s an experience like no other. Fantastic experience: Is good place for over 55s to exercise in comfort with supervision and state of the art equipment progammed in for each individual. The centre manager, Dirk, is super knowledgeable and service-minded. Just the right guy to be at the helm. Really nice feller.

Fantastic experience: Really a great gym for older people. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I love going here. The way it is set up for ease of use by having wristbands that set up the machines to your applied routine, great for those with limited mobility. Having trained staff always in hand is also excellent.

Fantastic experience: I joined last year and had a health assessment which was used to devise my personalised exercise regime by one of the physiologists. I appreciate that there is always a physiologist on the floor to ensure we are performing the excercises correctly. Also appreciate that they let us suspend membership whist on holidays and/or due to sickness. Looking forward to experiencing the various classes this year. Definately recommend.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of Avanti now for around 5 x months and I love it! My main goal was to improve my muscle strength and balance - both diminished after surgeries and treatments. I have improved in both areas and wouldn’t have been able to do this on my own. I’ve always disliked your traditional gym but Avanti is very different. The exercise regime is tailored to you and your goals. I now really enjoy going to the gym - it’s not a chore. The staff are great, on hand and always friendly and helpful. The music is pretty good too!

Fantastic experience: This is most relaxing exercise one can do. Everything is set up for your physical needs. You walk in and feel welcome straight away. Fantastic experience: Avanti Health Centre, Southport is the ideal venue to enhance your fitness in a pleasant friendly environment. All participants have their fitness assessed by qualified exercise Physiologists and programmes are developed to suit your fitness goals. Having been members of Avanti for over a year, the team developed and supervised my programme to develop physical fitness prior to bilateral knee surgery. My surgeon and rehab doctors attribute my recovery to the Pre op exercise program and look forward to my Avanti post operative training program. Thoroughly recommended for all ages and fitness abilities.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I joined Avanti 6 months ago, we absolutely love it. We have both joined gyms previously and have never enjoyed going so let our memberships lapse. We both love the atmosphere at Avanti, the staff are always friendly and always there to assist with any questions or just to have an encouraging chat. Fantastic experience: I found Avanti one year ago and feeling much stronger and fitter now, I can thank the regime at Avanti and the personal attention of the Physiologists in assisting my journey. Fantastic experience: The Avanti Health Centre is a great initiative for over 50’s. It’s fantastic to see members of the community utilising the facility and it genuinely helps everyone from healthy to those with rehab. The staff are amazing engaging people that get involved with members not just stand around. The Centre is evolving, diversifying classes and opening times to cater for its members. Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Avanti for approximately 3 months. It is not only a gym but also a fitness centre that focuses on your individual health. The name Health Centre is very appropriate. I am very impressed by the university trained Health professionals who are extremely professional and supporting. Fantastic experience: I have been a member since September last year. I love Avanti. Staff are extremely helpful and available to help whenever I needed it. At 71 this was my first time at a gym. Since joining I have had a holiday and recently some health issues and during these times Avanti have put my membership on hold. I can’t wait to get back as it has definitely been good for my mental health. My neighbour has recently joined and loves it also.

Fantastic experience: Avanti is FANTASTIC. As a non-sporty person in my 50s recovering after breast cancer surgery I didn't think I would ever find a place that understood me or my exercise needs...and then Avanti Opened!!! From day 1 I felt welcomed and supported. I have my own tailored program that is achievable and inspiring and there is always someone around to help with questions. The facilities are brilliant; everything is clean and works smoothly; there is air-conditioning (menopausal folk say 'woo!!') and above all else there is a real commitment to helping people meet their exercise goals. I never thought I'd be a gym person, but I've been a member for over a year and it's the best exercise decision I've ever made. I can be myself, and I am getting fitter. I love it!!

Fantastic experience: I joined Avanti Health Centre in September 2023. I attend at least twice a week. My strength has improved incredibly and I feel much more confident. The centre has an exercise physiologist present. These people are happy to help with advice and encouragement. If you are over 50 years old and wanting to make a change for the better, joining Avanti is an excellent place to start.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for an amazing Gym look no further as this Gym has awesome equipment and the Gym facilities are top notch. Plus the Staff at front are so helpful and friendly and the floor staff are so knowledgeable in each of their fields and spend time with each client if needed. Etc like helping with your gym sessions program and with equipment. As well they have dietitian and physiotherapist. So handy to have everything in one place. Very happy Customer
