Positive experience: Fix the bike up stairs

Fantastic experience: I have been training in Anytime fitness everywhere around Australia for the past ten years, and I can honestly say this is the best one I’ve ever been training on, clean, perfect distribution of apparatus and very friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Gyms are scary especially when you're obese, fat, overweight, plus size whatever you choose to call it. I'm considered as obese as I'm 163cm tall and weighed 96kg. I've been to many gyms in my time, Planet fitness, Genesis, Oxygen, Fitness First. This is the FIRST GYM where I feel WELCOME! Every time I enter within staffed hours, the staff smile and say hi to me. I'm used to being ignored and not acknowledged in other gyms. The gym lay out, wow.. I actually feel like I'm allowed to use the equipment! In most gyms the weights section is in a different area and as a self conscious, insecure overweight woman I never felt like I was welcome or allowed in the weight section it felt exclusive like only for men and fit or skinny women only, once I did venture in there at Genesis and a guy came up to me asked me when would I finished and started tapping his toe at me. But here at Anytime fitness Cessnock the weights set up is across the whole floor as soon as u enter so it feels very open and very welcoming and for the past month I have been using the weight section! Either by myself or with my personal trainer and no one stares at me or gives me disgusted looks, everyone is nice or they just do their own thing. The personal trainer at anytime Cessnock is fantastic. He not only helps you with your goals but teaches you how to use the machines correctly so you get the most out of your workout! I just want to say that if you're thinking about joining a gym in the Hunter Valley area, join Anytime Fitness Cessnock. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Love the refurb! Workout here maybe once or twice a year from interstate when visiting the in-laws. Really great layout now. Plenty of stations, equipment and machines. Awesome!

Fantastic experience: I think its a great place to stay.... I went there when I visited the hunter region and everything was clean, equipment is well maintained and not too busy over that weekend. I really enjoyed working out...maybe a few more screen around to add extra energy to the place. I think this is a good role model gym in regards to size and fitout. Great work guys. Vending machines were full and there was locally picked fruit!!

Fantastic experience: I go to every AF gym from Morisset to Scone regularly. Cessnock is the only gym where the staff acknowledge you when you walk in and when you walk out, and they consistently do it every time.

Fantastic experience: I was pleasantly surprised by the gym here. Although, to be honest, I wasn't sure what I was expecting. They've made great use of the space and all equipment was new and clean

Fantastic experience: One of the best Anytime Fitness gyms in Australia! There is such a range of equipment with pieces that I never expected in an Anytime club. What was very impressive - in the post-COVID world - was that the members used wipes before and after they used their piece of equipment - much better than city members. Loved how members said "G'day!"

Negative experience: recently got charged $77.78 for the month so $19.45 for the week after a price rise to $17.95 a week a real slap after over 10 years of member ship. now i have them email me for a 30 day cancellation fee.
