Negative experience: It is disappointing that I even have to write this review but the place has gone down hill over the last 2 years. The equipment is worn down and the whole facility could do with an upgrade. The weight plates are not even correct weights, with some being odd sizes with chunks out of them which makes it really difficult to accurately track in your training log. It is evident that it is the classes what keep the gym going and alive. I understand VF being a commercial gym, however, it is lucky it is the best of an average bunch of gyms within the area. Although I no longer attend Voyage regularly like previous due to living in Melbourne (mind you which has some amazing warehouse gyms where respect is priority one; and should a quality one open would kill this place) I still have a foundation membership which I use when I am visiting my parents in Gippsland. I am a competitive bodybuilder and previous gym manager and I know what I am doing in the gym. I know what is and isn’t acceptable from a gym etiquette perspective, and I know what is just plain overkill. I felt incredibly disrespected walking in not even getting a ‘hi’ off the person working the desk. Gone are the days where the customer service was top notch. Shout out to Rach R/V, Morgan and Ant who always greeted me with a smile on their face when working the desk back in the good old times. Next, the music I can barely hear. I know the gym caters to a range of ages but it’s like walking into a supermarket with the volume. Please turn it up during peak hours. I was even told when I was re-racking my weights on the plate loaded t bar row that I “was too loud” when I know matter of fact I was not. I am short, and the machine is difficult to reach with my arms (maybe invest in a hammer strength plate loaded t bar row instead which has many more points of adjustment). I respect the equipment when in the gym. Next. Please do not hire those in personal relations (boyfriend and girlfriend specifically here) who are working the same shift and/or training clients at the same time. This would not be acceptable in any other work place, and is a bad look on the business professionally. If you want some examples of amazing gyms to visit and take example from when in the area, I highly recommend NRG Essendon, Muscle City Mount Waverley and Powerhouse Gym Bayswater. The 2 stars are for the nostalgia and memories I have in this place with my Mum when I was younger. I really hope Rach, Ant or Snake see this review and take some constructive points out of it.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed to say the least. We have been paying for a membership here for about 4 weeks now, and have been able to use the facilities about a maximum of 3 times. My partner and I had signed up online, so we went in to get our membership card activated and we were told that the system was down and to come back another day. We then did just that, came back another day a week later and the system was still down (we were paying for the gym at this point and still not able to use the facilities) 3rd time we went back, we got our membership card number and we were told to scan the barcode at the door if we are using it after staffed hours. The first time we scanned it, it wouldn’t let us in. So the next day we went back and told them that it’s not working, and they looked on the system and told us that they didn’t have 24/7 access turned on, so they “turned it on” (our contract has 24 hour access) We then proceeded to go to the gym the next day after staffed hours (It’s the only time available for us we can’t going during staffed hours to use the facilities) And we scanned the code at the door with our phones, and still didn’t work. We both have had to fork out time out of our days to go during staffed hours to get this sorted out numerous times just for it to still not work. I then proceeded to go back today and tell them that the phone code still is not working, the lady gave me a token to scan at the door, which to our surprise, believe it or not. still did not work. We now are going to have to fork out more time during staffed hours to go back AGAIN, just for them to tell us that’s it’s fixed, when in fact it’s not. We’re so very frustrated.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere, well maintained and friendly staff. Not much more you could ask for in a gym

Fantastic experience: Great facilities, open spaces, large women's section. No one peeves while you work out. Clean Bathrooms and gyms. Plenty of cleaning spray and paper towel for wiping the equipment.

Negative experience: I parked outside so I can't say how but see the amount of people going in and coming it must be the place to go to if you want to get fit

Negative experience: Negatives Place has very old equipment that needs updating. Cardio would be around 20 years old. All weight plates are chipped. The ceiling doesn’t look safe. No one seems to wear shoes they all wear sliders. With how busy this place and the money coming through. A proper Reno should be an easy choice for the owners. Positives Staff are great and friendly and service the club well. Big area. Classes are very popular. With decent equipment these place would be an easy 5 stars.

Negative experience: Some of the machines in the Lady gym area have pins missing and also need a good oil as some are rustic

Positive experience: The gym was good which is why I'm still giving 3 stars. However the cancellation process of having to go through an external company that will not honour date on cancellation notice to the gym has left a very bad taste in my mouth. Ended up waiting a looong time in a queue to the debit company then paying for periods after cancellation notice due to this dodgy arrangement. Easy to sign up hard to cancel......

Fantastic experience: Very clean gym with friendly professional staff and trainers, and great equipment to workout.

Negative experience: If you like to waste your time arriving at the gym only to find its busy, morning, afternoon and evening, especially when the school kids get on the playground there are 3 to one machine, with few equipment available, - not to mention need an upgrade. Then you've come to the right facility.

Ladies only gym in seperate section, group class/fittness room, spin room and HIIT room with additional cardio weights and cable machine areas. Child friendly classes, with dedicated childrens area. 24/7 member accessible. Good tunes great vibe!

Fantastic experience: Probably the nicest place in Moe, seriously. The facilities/equiptment are amazing and the building has a great theme and energy. The staff have all been friendly and helpful throughout the opening and sign up process over the last couple of months. Best gym in the Moe/Newborough area without a doubt and the price is ridiculously competitive when you consider you get unlimited group classes included in your membership package.
