Anytime Fitness Rozelle

Negative experience: Old machines, a lot of mess. I come from training in Rockdale where everything is super organized and clean and here you can not because neither the bathrooms are enabled nor the showers ‍♂️. 0 recommended.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness Rozelle has recently upgraded their gym equipment and facilities, and everything looks great! The space is always clean, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this gym for anyone looking for a supportive and well-maintained workout environment.

Fantastic experience: I have used different AFs around Sydney and I’m fond of this Balmain one because the members here are respectful, friendly and know how to read the space of one to another, especially you don’t have to smell people’s odour while exercising.

However there is some pros and cons in wanted to share about my experience there Pros: • very safe to workout there • people are welcoming and appreciable • we can workout anytime of course!! Cons: • I point at the weights they seem to have rust on them which I don’t really like • during summer time there is not enough fans to cover the whole room •lack of equipments to excercise every part of my body such as abs and legs etc..

Positive experience: This gym is very convenient and most of the time I go it is not too busy so I can use all the machines I need. There is also parking behind the gym which is helpful since street parking isn’t always available. The staff are always so friendly and contribute well to the overall gym environment. However, the gym is quite small compared to other anytime fitness venues especially since so many people use this venue as there are not any other anytime fitness locations in the Balmain/Rozelle/Lilyfield/Birchgrove area.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of Anytime Fitness Rozelle for a year and a half. The staff is super friendly and always keeps things fun and engaging with monthly competitions. The gym has sanitizers and wipes available everywhere to ensure hygiene standards. The 24/7 access is a huge plus, allowing me to work out whenever it suits my schedule. They even have a small parking area in the back, which is super convenient. What stands out to me the most is how responsive the staff is when it comes to managing memberships. Whether you need to pause or restart due to travel, they handle it quickly and efficiently, making it so easy to have the flexibility you need.

Negative experience: This is one of the worst anytime fitness venues I have been to. Outdated machines, numerous broken and unmaintained machines (safety hazard) and limited range of equipment. I recommend making the 20 minute drive to Marrickville Anytime Fitness and checking out one of the best anytime fitness gyms in Sydney!

Negative experience: I come to this gym, as there is also one near my work, but the experience here is quite poor. The staff seem lovely, but I have never seen anyone leave the office. While kept fairly clean, the gym is not well maintained at all. Equipment is left broken for months (machine in pic has been in this state for over 6 weeks) and inflatable balls are almost always flat. Some members of the gym leave items to reserve machines while they exercise on others. Not a great experience for members.

Negative experience: Been going here for 4 months or so. Some of the important gym equipment e.g. leg extension machine, one of the cables for cable only cable fly setup etc all havent been fixed the couple of months I have been here. Pretty annoying paying good money for a gym that doesn't seem to upgrade equipment ever or responsively fix issues with their equipment.

Negative experience: Pros: Decent gym that does the job, with its own small parking at the back. Cons: Rust, rust everywhere. On the machines, weights, your hands, your clothes. I've seen less rust in metal recycling plants.

Negative experience: Cold showers @ 2am ...whats the go?

Negative experience: Probably the oldest equipment iv seen yet in any anytime fitness gym in the last e years. And there vending machine is ancient. Only takes coins/notes. I thought in this day and age it would have been upgraded a long time ago.

Positive experience: Decent gym, does the job. Small but has most things. Shout out to Amy; super helpful during the signing up process & always very friendly and welcoming which enhances the experience

Fantastic experience: Been a member of AF balmain now for a month or so. I use the gym everyday at different times of the day and night as i live right next door. Always clean. Plenty of weights and machines are always in order.

Negative experience: Poor facilities with limited service yet high fees for your local gym. I go here regularly and will continue to because it's the closest gym with equipment but really, locality, 24h access and the number of gyms are the only positives. Otherwise: * Limited facilities - there's a gym equipment area and a small functional area, that's it. No classes, no saunas, no yoga, no child minding, nothing. * Bathroom facilities often reek and aren't regularly cleaned. * Air-conditioning regularly breaks down * Limited equipment that hasn't been renewed in years. * Little staff presence and no staff out-of-hours (which is yes the nature of a 24h gym but it means the facilities aren't maintained out-of-hours) * Limited parking both in the designated carpark and surrounding streets. * Constant threats of fines and membership termination for not re-racking weights makes you feel very unwelcome (and wonder what the staff are actually doing?) * No free visit options for guests - most gyms now provide free access to friends/relatives of full members * High fees for what you little you get at $25/week plus signup fees.

Fantastic experience: Been to numerous AFs and this is gym is by far one of best I have visited. Good space, quality equipment, clean environment and friendly staff(which is becoming more rare at AF). Terrific

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness Balmain is a top gym that rocks on many levels. My legendary friend Zachary Mason works there as a PT and he encouraged me to visit; and that I did (with my wonderful wife Lassie). The staff there are wonderful, the gym is really nice, and they have nice new equipment there. There is also a top clientele and you also have great onsite parking (you enter off Victoria Rd, go around the back and good undercover parking). Great gym and whilst I don't get to Rozelle / Balmain that much, when I do; I shall go visit. LOVE THEIR WORK!

Positive experience: Good facilities in the main and not often super busy or full of Arnie’s.

Negative experience: The gym is ok, it stinks though, and the customer service is just ridiculous, you cannot cancel accounts, you can only put them on hold. That is theft.

Negative experience: zero stars if it was possible - they ignore your calls and emails as soon as you tell them you want to cancel your account. if you manage to get a hold of them, they tell you you need to fill out a form and send it back or scan it in order to cancel your account. what about people who do not have access to a computer?

Positive experience: Busy local gym. Good range of strength and cardio equipment (no classes) but the gym itself is in need of a renovation/update. Can also be a little smelly at times. Staff are friendly.

Negative experience: This gym is dirty and it smells, avoid!

Negative experience: I had asked them to cancel my subscription some months ago. After several months the customer staff Ash, says I will be charged because I needed to send them some details that are already on my profile and she is still going to charge me for a month. So dodgy customer service.

Positive experience: I use this gym sometimes. Prices: 74,50 AUS dollars per month. One can argue that it’s on the pricey side. They have 6-8 free parking spaces above the gym in the same building.

Negative experience: Terrible gym. Zero support or response when you send e-mails etc. Poorly managed and no customer service / relations. As others have noted the manager claims to have sent you an e-mail about your membership freeze coming to an end which is never received. You then start getting message about an overdue debt! You get what you pay for..... Buyer beware.

Fantastic experience: The best

Negative experience: Poorly managed and incompetent in managing memberships. My membership has been on hold for 18 months due to an injury. The gym failed to notify me prior to reactivating my membership despite promising to send notification 2 weeks and 3 days prior and claim that they sent the email but it wasn’t received since I “opted out” of emails. It’s pretty standard to opt out of spam yet still receive important account information. Now the manager, Luke, is demanding full payment AND additional fees for processing the payment which didn’t go through as the card is no longer valid! Absolutely ridiculous, shocking customer service, definitely not a recommended business.

Negative experience: I went in to check it out and find out prices, the guy kept trying to force me to join right away acting like they wouldn't have the joining fee waive if I joined two days later since I was going away for the weekend. I told him directly that I don't want to be pressured to join and he still kept harassing me about why I didn't want to join right away even though I told him I won't be around for the weekend. Overall I didn't even like the gym, it was smelly and the guy didn't even show me around properly and was extremely awkward and his behaviour just turned me off even more.

Negative experience: Old equipment could use an update and the whole place smells damp

Negative experience: Why should i have to book an appointment for you to tell me the price??? If Space X shows the price to send a rocket into space, why is it so hard for you to tell me how much it is to rent some dumbbells.

Positive experience: Gym-goers and staff are friendly and respectful. Gym equipment slightly lacking. Highly recommend this gym when not too crowded!

Negative experience: The gym it's alright in terms of equipment, however the staff gets really upset when you want to cancel your membership, they asked you hundred questions why you wanna leave and why u shouldn't, it's like you own them something, worst customer service ever !!!
