Fantastic experience: I’ve never boxed before but I’d always been curious and finally at age 41 I’ve decided to give it a crack. I’ve been training privately with Adam for a few months now and I’m stuck in — he’s a great coach and always pushes me just that one step further than I thought I could go. As a woman in a mostly male gym, I’ve never felt any different or uncomfortable in any way. There’s no egos or d’heads. Just a lot of shared passion for an incredibly addictive sport. They work with people at every age and every level of experience. I can’t say enough good things about this gym and the crew who run it. Props to Steven for building a great gym with a great team.

Fantastic experience: The guys that run it are professional and the gym Is usually not too busy…only down side the Fluoro lights…much prefer yellow lights or the purple lighting of anytime fitness

Fantastic experience: 100% best gym in Melbourne. Steve and the team are amazing. Their expertise is second to none. They are very family friendly and accomodating...I've now got my kids boxing like champs. Our trianer Almosh is highly skilled and patient and we love hanging out at the gym!

Fantastic experience: Great gym, great coaches. Stevie, and the crew make you feel really welcome regardless of boxing ability. The coaches and locals are always happy to give you extra help in regards to boxing or even weightlifting and health in general. Communities are built of gyms like this.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training at Power Gymnasium for the last year and a half doing PT with Serena. She’s rehabbed me back from injuries barely being able move, lift or squat to now being able to box for a full session! Steve the owner treats everyone like family and it’s a warm and welcoming environment to train in.

Fantastic experience: There are not enough words to Describe the service of Power gymnasium. I never trained in my life. 2 years back when I walked in there, that was it. They motivated me, treated me like a family. The trainers are amazing and very skill full. If u r in Melbourne u must must take the advantage of such an amazing gym.

Fantastic experience: Thoroughly enjoying being a part of the Powerplay community. The gym has a really good feel to it and the staff there make you feel very welcome. Have been doing a mix of boxing, weights and cardio and as well as feeling physically better, it's had an incredibly positive effect on my mental health. If you're looking for a proper place to workout and have fun whilst doing so, then I couldn't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I love the classes here! So many boxing classes I tried elsewhere didn’t teach proper and safe technique, here we’re taught proper technique even when attending a more fitness-focused class. It’s also a very friendly and welcoming environment, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I've been training here for the past 3 months and all I can say is what a gym, Could not ask for a better gym to train at and a better environment to train in. Would never expect myself to be where I'm at if it wasn't for the trainers there who take dedication and professionalism in what they do from the gym to the trainers to the people you cannot get a better experience anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for about 2 years now, great place to do boxing and muay thai/kick boxing classes! There's also a weights section as well so that saved me on another gym membership. Trainers are super helpful, friendly and they treat you like family. A lot of love for this place, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Power Gymnasium lacks the bells and whistles of other gyms. However, it makes up with a unique and genuinely authentic fitness environment. Their coffee is of good quality as well. So don't take my word for it, go in and give it a try. They’ll happily give you a promotional trial too.

Fantastic experience: I walked into Power gym having not exercised in 4 years. Unfit, overweight and unhappy. Their warm and welcoming environment eased my nerves and made me less selfconcious. They shared their passion for boxing with me and I fell in love with the sport. It is an understanding and safe environment to work through your issues and connect with others.

Was a bit apprehensive about going to a "boxing gym" especially with such a young boy but the whole crew there from the owners to the trainers are the most welcoming and generous group of people. Couldn't recommend the place high enough.

Fantastic experience: There isn't any way for me to say how much this place has done for me, you will NOT find a better environment to train in, I have only ever been treated as one would a family member and the skills and knowledge shared by all the trainers is phenomenal. On this journey I have began I am so grateful and blessed to have this gym to call my second home and its members and owners to call a second family. Nothing but love.

Fantastic experience: Been training at this gym for years! Absolutely incredible from the facilities itself to the humble gym staff and members! Cannot fault, this place feels like home! This year I decided that I wanted to feel better about myself and I started my weight loss journey at 72Kgs and now I can proudly say with the help of the amazing staff with the constant support and motivation I am down 16Kgs and at a happy weight of 56Kgs! Highly recommend coming down to see the team!

Fantastic experience: I LOVE this gym. My 5 year old son needed to improve his concentration and self esteem. Steve took him onboard and my son began personalised individual training with Jimmy. Over the last three months, my son’s concentration and focus has greatly improved, along with his confidence and self-esteem. He is no longer a victim of bullying. I was so impressed with this gym that I signed myself up for personal training with Jimmy also. Steve helps to encourage and motivate me regarding my weight loss, plus we have a good laugh about our “talking pantries”. I would rate this gym higher than 5 stars if I could, as Steve, Jimmy and the rest of the team are always friendly, warm, inviting and absolutely fantastic.

Fantastic experience: It's not the fanciest gym if you're looking for weights and and machines, where it really excels is the boxing/martial arts classes. The trainers are good and the regular fighters are always a source of motivation. Aside from that, the place is family run and the level of care put it into it isn't something I've been able to find anywhere else.
