Genesis Health + Fitness Cessnock

Negative experience: Loved this gym for its crèche, the ladies there are amazing and it was only way for me and many other mums there to have some time to self , owners of gym decided to cancel crèche without even notifying members and only a weeks notice to the ladies in crèche right before Xmas. They didn’t even consult with members before making this call very bad form ….

Negative experience: They free trial doesn't work, they make up a excuse for you pay a casual visit.

Fantastic experience: Lots of classes and coaching zone available. Personal trainers are easy going, professional and encouraging. Friendly staff!

Fantastic experience: The best fitness centre in the area. Has everything to offer, group fitness classes, crèche, outdoor training area, sauna, small group PT. The personal trainers are the best in the town. And the entire team help lift you up from the moment you walk in the centre till you leave they give you the best possible experience. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I see one of their PTs twice a week (Ben) and love it. I also do a few classes each week which are great. I like that its so big that even when its busy it doesnt feel too busy and with lots of equipment you rarely have to wait to use what you want. Plenty of parking which is also great.

Fantastic experience: We like Genesis because its big open and a friendly environment i go and take my son we work out together and always feel good about it the staff are very friendly and helpful lots of equipment as well .

Fantastic experience: Cessnock Genesis has all you need for Total Fitness. Super friendly staff qualified to answer any questions. The gym also has some great classes, including step, body blitz and yoga. The gym cardio equipment are up to date. Very nice airy feeling as well. As a female I do not feel intimidated by the weights. I do highly recommend Genesis as a covid safe place .

Fantastic experience: Great gym with really friendly staff! I've been to many gyms, but Cessnock Genesis is the only place that has really been interested in my progress and what I'm doing. Also heaps of space and lots of equipment! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Genesis at Cessnock is a modern facility, with a good range of equipment. I enjoy the variety of group fitness classes, and the instructors are really helpful and supportive. My 11 year old daughter has recently started group fitness and was really nervous, however the instructors have made her feel really welcome. I highly recommend Genesis Cessnock.

The atmosphere in the gym is inviting and easy to feel comfortable in the space. If you have any questions the staff are always willing to answer or point you in the right direction.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending the coaching zone for just over a year and I love it. Sasha and the other coaches are amazing they go above and beyond to ensure we are hitting our goals. I'd recommend the Coaching zone to anyone of any age or fitness level.

Negative experience: bad customer service, staff not willing to help you just want you to sign up to the coaching zone. I've been to other gyms in the area and are 100% better, thought i would trial a new one but yes after 2 days hated it.

Fantastic experience: Ticks all the boxes! Welcoming atmosphere, good equipment, the creche looks gorgeous and the classes are FUN. Clean, well set up hygiene room. But - the wonderful, friendly professionalism of the staff is something over and above!!! Just a brillliant fitness centre no matter which way you look at it. I was new to town and felt I found my 'tribe' in Genesis.

I’ve never had to wait to use my favourite pieces of equipment which makes my workouts efficient. I’ve already recommended that my mates get down to genesis cessnock and sign up for a membership.

Fantastic experience: This gym has a really fun and diverse schedule of classes backed up with a passionate and knowledgeable team of personal trainers. Would recommend this to anyone. They are still relatively new so gear is up to date. They have designed the building to suit a variety of uses, including a designated outdoor area.
