Fantastic experience: Trained in this gym for more than 2 years. It has all the equipments you need. Big space for cardio and stretching. He opened downstairs as well so more space to train. Worth paying $19. The owner is straight forward, so first you feel like He is rude but i reckon he behaviour is like that with everyone. I never cared about that i just went there and train.If I move to Belconnen area, def going back to BodyBlitz.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym with fantastic faculties and awesome owner! I was visiting for three days and Johnny was able to bless me with 24/7 access without crazy fees that you get at other gyms. The only problem is now I wish this was my home gym!! Would 100% recommend to anyone who values strength training to visit

Fantastic experience: I recently flew into Canberra from interstate and was on the hunt for a gym to train at for a few weeks. My brother, a member at BodyBlitz Fitness in Belconnen, recommended I join him—and I’m so glad he did. After a quick visit to the website, I found Johnny’s contact number and gave him a call. From the moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed. Johnny goes above and beyond as a gym owner; he knows every member by name and greets each of us personally every time we walk in. The gym itself is fantastic, equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the atmosphere is motivating and positive. BodyBlitz Fitness will be my go-to whenever I’m back in Canberra!

Negative experience: have not even stepped foot in the gym and have to agree with the 1 star reviews saying the owner is rude. I called as I’m moving into the area and looking for a new gym and wanted to see what was a good time to come in for a tour. The owner was extremely abrupt and sounded like I had ruined his day by showing interest in joining his gym. Absolutely not an environment I would ever train in, sounds like ego’s may be very high around here. My apologies for showing interest in your business i guess haha

Negative experience: Excellent gym facilities, but unfortunately, the owner/staff are unaccommodating and unprofessional.

Negative experience: Gone there .. totally unsatisfied with the staff behaviour . They were too eager to sign me the memebership . Very disatisfied .

Fantastic experience: Every gym equipment that you can think of is provided. Johnny was friendly and showed me around the gym. Much more cost effective and cheaper compared to any other gyms. At my first time going to the gym, I could tell that this gym community was welcoming and everyone is respectful and helpful. Definitely would recommend

Negative experience: Rudest owner I have ever spoken to. At 8.30am I called to organise coming into the gym, as I was passing through Canberra for the weekend and wanted to train using my fitness passport. The man on the phone cut me off to say, "I have already been at the gym today and there won't be anyone to let you in. This gym is for people who live in Canberra and are willing to buy the pass". My first issue is why would you affiliate with fitness passport if you are going to be prejudiced towards fitness passport members who don't live within a certain radius? My second issue is, if I were to live in Canberra and wanted to get a pass, why would an owner of a gym refuse to return after 8.30am on a Saturday to assist a customer? That is literally the most appropriate time to sign up new members? Makes absolutely no sense. I have told all my family and friends who DO live in Canberra, NOT to sign up at this rude gym.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a gym where you can come in anytime and use all the equipment necessary to accomplish your fitness goals this is the place, with John (owner) always happy to help you achieve your goals no matter your ability, age, etc. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to start gym or is looking for a new gym to go to.

I've worked in other gyms and you don't really get the help you need as you just become a member number. Johnny owns the business so he cares. He has been working in this industry for over 30 years so I'd say he knows a thing or two. Really happy to be part of this gym. Highly recommended gym in Canberra!

Fantastic experience: I joined Body Blitz Gym as it has a personal trainer that owns the gym. As an advance sports massage therapist working with athletics from teens to elite athletics that went to the Olympic games in Tokyo, I know how important it is to look after your fitness level and your muscle system that’s why I picked a gym that has a personal approach to their client’s needs and has very good equipment. Jonny, which is the owner, has over 30yrs experience and is well qualified to help you meet your goals & targets, he is very friendly to talk to and very helpful. I highly recommend Jonny to anyone who wants to better themselves & workout in his amazing gym.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a locally owned gym where you feel welcome, then look no further! The owner, John, is great. He is always happy to show people how to use equipment, help with their form, give them a fitness plan or just have a chat. It’s also nice coming to a gym where the owner knows your name. Although it is smaller then some gyms it has all the equipment that you need. I would definitely recommend for anyone in the area, whether it be people starting out in their fitness journey or someone with lots of experience.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined the Body Blitz Gym, & I highly recommend to anyone who wants to better themselves to come see John & this amazing gym. With over 30yrs experience John is well qualified to help you meet your goals & target.

Negative experience: Wont be suggesting this place to anyone at all. Worst place to send anyone you care about as they have people who were hurling abuse from their window at a kid and threatening to kill him when he was minding his own business. I was surprised it is even possible in Australia, especially Canberra which is deemed safest place in Australia. As a women, seeing this happen to a child was very scary experience. Hope their parents contact ACT police. I’m contacting my friends and family to go somewhere else from now on.

Negative experience: Very insecure place as management was unable to help in identifying a criminal (tall guy with long hair, last seen on 25th April 2023 at around 5:10pm) threatening kids. The criminal was yelling from inside the gym at 11 year old kid who was standing across the road. I was there and can confirm that this incident has happened inside your facility i.e, Body Blitz Fitness. Hope management is not covering up to save the criminal i.e., staff or a customer as they are claiming that they are unable to find the footage. No one should go to this Gym as they will not be able to find any footage if anything happens to you.

Owner is a really cool guy and genuine always up for a chat and the gym is awesome perfect for a body builder or just someone trying to keep fit more then enough quality equipment. Also love that it’s up high with lots of windows letting the sunlight and fresh air in unlike many other gym. Definitely check it out if you haven’t already

Fully stocked with great equipment. Available at all hours of the day and the best part is the low low price. Great value for money.

Negative experience: Pros: The gym space is amazing and it’s never busy Pro: plenty of equipment with a large range, parking is easy and it’s very quiet. Cons: Heater is only allowed on unless the owner is present which is generally not outside of normal business hours so you absolutely freeze in winter. You pay for a 24 gym access but don’t feel valued when heating and cooling is not on when the owner isn’t there because it’s only important that he is warm in winter or cool in summer. Con: I signed up for a week to week contract. I was told I can stop anytime. However, when I cancelled I had to pay 4 more weeks tried to email owners, received no reply or explanation or proof as to why it will take 4 weeks to cancel my payment when there was no contract. It’s the same price as any other gym, except every other gym is climate controlled and respond ina reasonably time to their customers.
