Debra, As communicated, your membership access was terminated due to your aggressive abuse of our staff on the gym floor. The behaviour you displayed was truely disappointing and does not align with club values. Even during times of frustration, kindness and respect should always be applied. Our investigation of the incident included reviewing all cctv and audio footage and significant evidence of a breach in club policy was found and does not align with your continuously changing recall of events. Providing a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and members and upholding a no tolerance policy to aggressive and inappropriate behaviour will always be of higher importance then a membership payment to our business and we make no apologies for this. -Management

We are sorry to hear you had difficulty with our cancellation process. I can see you requested to cancel on Monday June 14th, 2021 and we’re able to complete the form on Wednesday. Because of this, Thursday June 17th, 2021 would be your final debit (14 day notice, and you can use the facility for the 14 days) which is required to close off the account. This was written on your cancellation form that you signed and outlined in our terms and conditions on your membership paperwork that you signed commencing your membership. Our non refundable card policy was also outlined clearly in our terms and conditions. In our original email we did note we can place your membership on a timehold to assist in being able to come to the club. This would pause membership debits until there was a more convenient time but this would not have changed the final debit being charged. Our staff also discussed your options of transferring your membership and access card to a friend or family member at no additional costs to save them the card fee and your final debit both which you declined. As your final debit went into default we did request Paysmart to remove the dishonour fee but as you had already had a rejection fee waived previously they declined. Our franchise does not cover your personal bank fees for rejection payments that you requested us to pay. Our club has the most competitive cancellation policy nationwide, with only a 14 day written notice required that is given by signing our cancellation form, you can also use the club for those 14 days so you do not pay for a service your are not receiving. Plus Fitness only offers no lock in contracts to ensure all members have complete flexibility. Staff ensure our cancellation and timehold procedure during the sign up process as well as it being listed in the terms and conditions signed off on. We do not make any changes to membership with out the members signed authority. Wishing you all the best with your health and fitness, -Management

Hi River love, Thank you for your feedback. We are very disappointed to receive a one star review without being given the chance to rectify the issue. Please let us know what day/time you were at the gym as we have already adjusted the A/C timers first thing this morning to be on all day to deal with the current heat wave. We have also booked our A/C company to install two more vents this week in the front of the club to keep our gym extra cool and comfortable for all our members. The fans are activated by pressing the large white button and were working today but please let us know if you need assistance with how to turn them on and one of our friendly team will be happy to help. I know the disabled shower head we aren't allowed to change because of council restrictions but I will certainly look into changing the other one for you.
