Fantastic experience: Best gym I've ever been to. Such a good community, with modern/clean equipment, fun classes and lovely staff. Other fernwood gyms don't have the same magic as this one. There's something special about it

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here over a year now. Started as they have childcare/creche options in the morning (2 sessions 1.5hrs each), but stay because I also absolutely love it. Everyone is so friendly, staff, instructors and people who go. There's a coffee machine included, breakfast, fruit bowl, lots of classes, sauna, massage chairs, as well as options for exercise physiology and self managed or PT sessions.

Fantastic experience: Love it here! Staff are friendly and welcoming, good updated gym equipment and amenities. Lots of classes if you feel so inclined :) highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Fernwood Chirnside is fantastic! The staff are all super friendly and welcoming and I never feel intimidated or embarrassed to ask for help. The gym itself is clean, organised and inviting. Extras such as massage chairs, infrared sauna and services such as health and wellness check ins are a huge plus. Rachael has created two really great programs for me and has been really friendly and supportive. Thanks team!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member here at Fernwood Chirnside Park since it opened over 20 years ago. In that time I have been coming 3-5 times a week. I love the atmosphere, the friendly professional staff and the variety and frequency of classes. I have been a member of other gyms in the course of my 70 years, but none come close to how wonderful this gym is. The facilities and equipment are always clean and well maintained. I can’t recommend this gym highly enough!

Positive experience: Big gym, clean facilities, equipment and machines are new and well maintained. My only suggestion for improvement is introducing new classes from time to time. Some variation keeps members engaged and interested.

Fantastic experience: Joining Fernwood Chirnside Park has been the best thing I’ve done for myself, my health and my wellbeing. After putting myself “down the line” in my family for 18years, it was time for change, it was time for ME!! 10-12kgs down, better fitness and flexibility, great options for classes, gym workouts, sauna, massage chairs, some great staff (Paula- you are the best!!), great friends in a comfortable and safe environment…. WINNING all round

Fantastic experience: Loving my Fernwood experience. Never been good at sticking to gyms, but this time went with a PT and that has changed so much... can't wait to really see the results that are just starting to trickle through now.

Fantastic experience: Myself along with my teenager daughter joined at the start of the year and our experience thus far has exceeded our expectations. There is a friendly caring vibe. I'm very fussy about cleanliness and it passes my test. Enough variety on the gym floor and plenty of classes to suit all levels and styles. Maybe it's the no blokes but it just feels relaxed and inclusive of all. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Fernwood in Chirnside Park has been my go to place when I needed a break from everything else. Not only doing a physical exercises but also it helps me mentally, emotionally and socially. The staffs are very welcoming, friendly and supportive. The place is well maintained and equipped. Very clean which is I love as I’m very fussy about cleanliness. There’s a childcare centre which is a very big help for parents like me who has a young child. My two personal trainers Susie and Rachel are wonderful they made me feel relaxed around them during my work out specially that I’m a migraine sufferer. The classes are super great, members are awesome, like we’re family. The whole vibes is amazing, I feel like I belong in the club and didn’t feel like alone. I love how it’s exclusively only for women the gym and I feel comfortable plus there’s breakfast ready for everyone and it’s open 24/27 hours every day. My daughter is also a member so it’s like a bonding between me and my girl. I have recommended the club to my friend who is now a member also. There’s a follow up check to see how the members going which is very important and helpful. I would definitely recommend to anyone this club. Over all my experienced has been great and awesome.

Fantastic experience: An amazing female-only gym, the facility is well maintained and fully equipped. I love the friendliness of the staff as they greet every member who walks into the gym during staffed hours. It offers great value for money, with breakfast, coffee, sauna, massage chairs, and shower facilities included in the membership. The gym floor is clean, hygienic, and all the equipment is in good working condition. I've been using this gym for many years and have no plans to go anywhere else!

Negative experience: Not great service at all, terrible sales philosophy but that's big box gyms for you. Trainers were all lovely and gym itself is pretty okay but be careful when emailing the admin/ sales team as they send certain emails from a do not reply email address. Unless you actually check the "from" field in your email you cannot see this. If you just hit reply button like any normal person does in correspondence, the undeliverable email may sit in your spam folder without you realising. Despite requesting a cancellation in August, I'm now being told I still need to pay 2 months before it can be actioned. I honestly thought more understanding would be shown in this case. I was talked out of cancelling in August and told to freeze for a one of $10 fee, looking back I should have realised then but they basically just scammed another $10 out of me. They also refused to call it a joining fee of $199, if you cancel a no lock in contract and rejoin you still need to pay it. Even if you decline having a program written, so you basically pay $199 for a backpack. It's truly laughable that they don't call it a joining fee because it's exactly what it is. It's a shame because once my daughter is old enough I would have loved to rejoin but not after this. No way.

Fantastic experience: Such a welcoming warming place to go and work out. The staff are so lovely. I absolutely love doing the classes! I find I am more motivated with having an instructor especially when all the instructor's at Fernwood are amazing and have options if you can't do a certain move to go at the pace your comfortable in. I feel so at home going to Fernwood as there is no judgement from anyone. I've also made quite a few new friends there too which is a bonus!

They really help you feel completely comfortable with the facility so that you don't feel lost when you come in alone. Very clean. Awesome safety measures in place for after hours workouts. Lots of classes and support. Great encouraging and non judgmental vibes. Empowerment for all!

Fantastic experience: I would like to recommend Fernwood Chirnside to any females out there who are looking for a friendly, caring and a safe setting to exercise. It can be scary starting off for the first time, but staff and members make you feel included. There are all shapes and sizes which is another thing I appreciate, as I think if all I saw were very thin fit girls it would be threatening. Really appreciate being a member here after about 34 years at a mixed gym.

Fantastic experience: Fernwood is a community. The staff are supportive and kind and always welcome you with a smile. Everybody knows your name. Goals are achievable and encouraged. This is by far the best gym I have ever belonged to. Being a member at Fernwood is a privilege.

Fantastic experience: The only gym that I have been too (and I have been to many) where the staff want you to succeed as much as you do. 30 kilos down! More to go, but only completed due to the ongoing support of these wonderful ladies

Fantastic experience: After trying many different gyms, i have found Fernwood Chirnside Park and it has heaps of different classes and clean modern equipment and friendly staff. A bonus is having brekkie, coffee, and hair straighteners which makes it really convenient in the morning!

Negative experience: Great facilities and ever greater sales tactics! 1. Be very careful with the fine-print. I was told I could sign up on a "3 month contract", and then continue paying month-by-month, should I wish to continue at the club. I had an injury, whilst simultaneously moving house, tried to cancel and was stung with a large sum. 2. Once I signed my life away, 'Fernwood's friendly and helpful trainers' do a complete 180. That's right, you can wave goodbye to these "helpful, friendly employees" and say hello to bi**h faces, personal conversation and worrying about looks. SUCH A SHAME as it has potential, but the deceit and rude nature of the staff are a definite let-down.

Negative experience: Very proficient at the sale and quick with the contract, try and get out of it!!!!
