Fantastic experience: Fitstop Murrumba Downs was the perfect environment for me to make significant health and wellness changes. I joined in Feb 2024 in search of movement that I enjoyed. I’ve always loved group workouts and classes and knew it was the motivation I needed to get back into fitness again. But as a busy mum I struggled to make it all happen. What sold it for me… the kids area! They have a safe area for the kids to hang out and be able to see everything we’re doing. They feel included, get some iPad time and I feel like I’m modelling healthy choices. Fast forward 10 months and I have made significant changes to my life with the support of the coaches and community. I have dropped at least 12kgs of fat and gained 3kgs of muscle but most importantly my mind is clearer, I am more patient with my kids, I can move more freely with my energetic family and have new life long friends, who surround and support me in ways I never knew I needed. Paul, is seriously one of the best gym owners I’ve come across. Despite running a business which is his livelihood, I’ve never felt pressured to stay when I was ‘trying it out’; he never made my husband feel bad when he decided it wasn’t for him; he’s also motivated and encouraged me in a supportive and non judgemental way; he notices, highlights and praises both physical and mental achievements. I no longer feel the struggle to turn up to sessions, now I crave and look forward to them. If you need something extra to get you motivated and moving… and a community you didn’t know you needed, you have to try FITSTOP MD. Attached a before and after photos for both my time at Fitstop and the last 6 we’ll challenge, but the emotional and mental changes I can’t show in photos have meant the most to me.

Fantastic experience: Getting back into fitness classes after 18months away is hard. Paul and the team of trainers make sure you are set up for success, ensuring your technique is correct, helpful tips and lots of encouragement along the way. Love the midday sessions, when working from home, it’s great to do the class and go back to work, breaking the day up. (Adding a Friday midday session would be great also )

Negative experience: your members are the absolute rudest people, they think they own the carpark and have rights like no one else. Can't believe an absolute idiot ran in front of car as I trying to park, with my indicator on as well. Then he thought he had the audacity to laugh and give me the finger, then not long after that I was trying to back out to straighten up due to the previous idiot, another idiot ran behind my car. The first idiot even made sure he ran back before I got out so he didn't get a mouthful from me. So not just an idiot but a chicken as well. So many times myself and others have had to deal with your idiot members running onto where cars drive and making us brake suddenly. I have never come across so many idiots like your members are

Fantastic experience: The team here are great, only been a member of murrumba downs for 4 weeks but every session is enjoyable and a challenge. The owner is extremely understanding and unlike most gyms, if you’re suffering from financial hardship for whatever reason, he takes it into consideration and stops payments immediately, unlike most gyms who just take your money. Paul and his team are very supportive and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Inclusive of those who have chronic illness and multiple injuries, I even live over half hour away and travel in every morning to do the workout because I simply wouldn’t go anywhere else. Fantastic experience: I began my Fitstop journal right before "Silly Season" last November and all I can say is, I regret not joining sooner. Fantastic experience: When I joined Fitstop Murrumba Downs i was extremely nervous, I am a mum of four who has done very little activity for many years and have been struggling with my mental health. At my first session and every session since, everyone has been so welcoming and helpful, always encouraging me to go my own pace, which makes it easy to commit to coming every week. The workouts are challenging but achievable which leaves you feeling great. The gym is also very family friendly with a kids area which allows me to be consistent even when i need to bring the kids with me.

Fantastic experience: One thing I didn’t expect joining up for Murrumba Downs Fitstop was how much it feels like coming home. Having only trained here for a few weeks now, it’s hard not to see the tight community that’s been fostered over the short period of time since this gym has opened. It’s not just somewhere to go work out, get sweaty and smash yourself. It’s somewhere to genuinely make positive connections with the others training with you as well as the excellent and energetic coaches. I have gone from training or running sporadically by myself to making an attempt to get in for a session each day that I possibly can, even despite still being incredibly sore from previous days’ sessions. It’s felt like less of an obligation or a chore and more of a daily highlight, something I get to look forward to doing to kick off my day. Thank you to Paul and the rest of the team for making it so easy to commit and show up every day that I can. It was a little nerve-wracking and overwhelming going for the first time as I’m not exactly a social butterfly, however now two weeks on I feel comfortable and confident in walking through the door and knowing I’ll be welcomed with a smiling face and a hello, which goes a longer way than I ever thought it would!

Paul and the coaches genuinely care, and the community of the gym is second to none. FSMD has also really helped me through injury this year, by allowing me to keep moving while being in a moon boot, modifying every exercise I was unable to do. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I was hesitant and scared to join at the beginning as I didn't have confidence at all. Fantastic experience: I can honestly say that joining Fitstop Murrumba Downs has been one if the best ideas I've ever had. It has really benefited every facet of my life. I'm fitter and stronger and attempting things like lifting and high intensity which I never thought possible. It has been so easy it to work into my day..the trainers are so understanding that parents have to work out as well and really try and accommodate the kids. The trainers really enjoy their job and have started to become friends. I am so glad I joined

Positive experience: Would be nice if your early morning class showed some respect for those of us who are unwell and running on the foothpath outside the medical centre . This morning one of your members ran on the footpath purpose and bumped into a doctor. Shame on you . However after speaking to the Manager from Fitstop they are going to met with the Medical Centre to come up with a solution x Thank you
