Fantastic experience: Exceptionally friendly and welcoming gym. Great vibe- empowering regardless of fitness level. Classes run by the owner are the perfect blend of challenging but also a bit of fun. So glad I've joined up :)

Fantastic experience: Best gym ever:) My girlfriend tried all the gym at Queanbeyan even Canberra and told me Go Figure is the best among all of them. The staff are absolutely friendly and the owner treats everyone like family.

Positive experience: After careful consideration, I visited Go Figure Women Health club prior to signing up a trial with the protentail to sign on for a premium package $70 week. Expecting similar facilities as other similar price packages, I was shocked by the compact facility. Two bathroom stalls and two showers. I understand not all gym users would use this at once but with 15-20 people in group class and no pool access. I declined the offer to join. Staff member who showed me around was friendly but slightly over pushy about joining and also treating me like a non gym person. I did briefly explain that I hold multiple state records and have been to multiple gyms over various parts of my career. The staff member was welcoming to my assistant animal, although stated she would need to check that other members didn't have an allergy to him. Staff may need to be better informed and retrained of Human Rights Commission acts and laws regarding assistant animals in public venues. Excellent to see a female focus gym with facilities for children at no extra cost.

Fantastic experience: After not being too sure about joining a gym I’m so so glad I was able to join this women’s gym! It is such a friendly little community and I love being a part of it! Getting some time out from my Bub too using the free crèche is amazing! The have great facilities specific for us women to be able to work ohtand walkout fresh and ready for the rest of our days!

Fantastic experience: Amazing place. All the trainers are super nice and take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you’re at. I love this place I highly recommend Go Figure to anyone who wants to get in shape. I look forward to walking through the doors and always feel amazing when I leave.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym in the Queanbeyan/Canberra area! (the best in Australia). The staff is incredibly friendly, no one is judged and everyone is supported in their goals. I was a member three years ago and moved interstate, one if the the first things I did when I moved back was to join this gym again. The classes are amazing, the facilities always up to date and clean. You are always received at the door with a smile. In this gym you come as you are and are cared for and supported in your goals.

Negative experience: UNPROFFESIONAL If you’re thinking of signing up to Go Figure Women’s Health Club, be sure before you sign up. The major term that the gym facility do not tell you or clearly disclose is the cancellation policy. In my experience with most cases and with any service, this is generally clearly stated, mentioned upon signing up to the service/contract and generally is only small cancellation fee. However, Go Figure Women’s Health Club DO NOT allow you to cancel your membership. The only way to get out is to find another person to “take over” or “transfer” the membership - which is highly unreasonable, time consuming and sometimes difficult to do. This was not disclosed to me when signing up to the membership. This policy is a true reflection of how unprofessional the gym facility and Manager Tanya is. After contacting the Gym facility and the Manager Tanya in person twice, by two letter’s and numerous email correspondence to advise them of my personal circumstances and that I wish to terminate my contract I was turned down with no empathy. After welcoming the opportunity to meet and discuss in person, this was dismissed. Not once was I contacted by phone call to discuss further and to offer assistance to resolve the matter. The only communication from Tanya was by email as if she was avoiding confrontation - another reflection of unprofessionalism. After this, I was threatened on numerous occasions by the facility debit company and then a debt collector to pay the FULL membership costs immediately which amounted to $1,120.00 and if I weren’t to pay this the external company would be seeking recovery and it would affect my credit rating. A threading email, text message and phone call which is not ideal to receive two weeks prior to Christmas. From my experience the gym manager Tanya, is simply unprofessional and unfriendly in her manner and way she conducts her business. As a member of her facility and business, at no point did I feel that she wanted to assist me in anyway. I only felt that it was important for her to receive her money as quickly as possible by taking advantage of the debit company to continue the threats. You would think as a woman running a “Women’s” gym she would have more care and respect for her members to ensure she maintains a happy relationship with her clients. Im not sure what type of professional business owner would like to run their business knowing from the start that there will be some unhappy customers. I know I am not the only member to have gone through this.
