I wasn’t familiar with the gym so she offered to show me around and answered all my questions. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Negative experience: Very very very disappointed. Four cross trainers and only two work. The other two are rickety. I drive nearly 3 hours a day. The cross trainer allows me to workout without putting too much stress on my lower back from long periods of sitting down. Unfortunately the equipment has been like this for months. FIX IT! If im paying you, live up to your side of the deal. You have people who work there during the day. Get them to try/ check the equipment out before crowd comes in. Thats what our members expect.

Negative experience: Avoid avoid avoid . Very nice whilst getting you to sign up but if anything goes wrong forget it . The PTs are really good to be fair but the rest of the team will allow you to be defrauded money to be taken and then do nothing and try condone such actions . Nice new leisure centre at oran park give it a go cost less more facilities & certainly more internal and earnest.

Negative experience: STAY AWAY! This gym uses loopholes, lies, and illegal tactics to delay and attempt to sabotage your cancellation. After 2-3 months of having to sign more forms, provide airplane tickets, rental contracts, names of people we will be living with overseas, they confirmed my partner's and my member was cancelled, however THEY DO NOT STOP CHARGING AFTER CANCELLATION. You will have to get your bank to investigate, refund, and block Anytime Fitness because they will keep charging. I provided a rental contract with the address we will be moving to, they responded saying they can't find the address (it was on the first line of the first page), I responded within 40 minutes and they proceed to take 1.5 weeks to respond back. You are making a huge mistake by signing a contract and providing this business with any of your banking or card details. If you must go to a gym and can't work out at home, go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Place is way to busy these days doesn't matter what time you get there you will struggle to find a machine to use let alone a free spot to leave your belongings

Negative experience: I would recommend everyone check your bank account as AF starts charging you more than the signed amount without any notification. I signed the agreement with Oran Park last year and don’t know when they transferred me to other branch and then back to themselves with an extra debit amount per week upon the signed contract. They can play a client like ping pong ball so they can get an authority to charge more from you.

Negative experience: Dear Anytime Fitness, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with your services. I signed a contract with your gym in February of this year and only attended three sessions. Due to my health conditions as an anemic patient, I found it difficult to continue attending. My visits to the gym left me feeling extremely weak. When I requested to cancel my membership and provided my medical history, your team asked for a doctor's report. I provided the report, but received a response stating that my membership could only be canceled if I provide a report stating that I am suspended from physical activities indefinitely. I feel that this requirement is insensitive and shows a lack of concern for members' health, prioritizing financial gain over well-being. Despite not using the gym since February, I have continued to be charged. I have made numerous attempts to cancel my membership to no avail. I am extremely disappointed with the way this matter has been handled and I cannot recommend your services to others based on this experience. I hope that my feedback reaches the appropriate individuals.

Negative experience: They took months to cancel the membership and still charged me when I physically couldn't even use the gym. When the membership was finally cancelled after being dragged out as long as possible, I realised they've been charging me for multiple weeks. My partner and I had to block them through the bank account and Anytime fitness had the audacity to contact us saying our payments have failed even though the membership was cancelled over a month ago. This is very shady and other reviews seem to complain about the same thing. Putting greed before people and dignity is a really bad business practice. I do not recommend this gym at all.

Negative experience: Giving one star because if you are closed on a Good Friday, how could it be 24*7?? I even had a chat with a building security and he said it is closed.

Positive experience: The gym is nice and I have always enjoyed it but recently the hand grips on the machines are coming off and it's leaving a black sticky resin on your hands

Negative experience: They agreed to pause my account (through email) when I went overseas but didn’t, when I asked to be refunded the amount they took while it should have been paused, they refused. Anytime Fitness would not help and ignored my complaint, franchisee refused to contact me in any way. They may have kept me as a customer if they handled this respectfully.

Negative experience: Cancelled my membership nearly 2 years ago now and paid ALL outstanding fees and now are trying to get me to pay a $70 fee - nearly 2 years later? I called up and they can’t even give me a reasonable explanation of to what this fee I have to pay for is? Absolute disgrace! Beware even if you do cancel your membership they will try and make you pay more money and not even tell you what it is for!!

All staff are extremely pleasant and the gym is overall a great environment to be in The gym is always maintained to the highest standards and I really enjoy using the equipment. I highly recommend it to anyone. Its open anywhere, anytime. Also another reason I love it, with such a busy work schedule. Thanks for making my fitness journey a smooth one.

Negative experience: I have called multiple times during club hours with no answer, I have also sent emails asked for the 12 month contract price, which they refuse to tell me. My first impressions of customer service is bad and now I'll be going to another gym.

Negative experience: I rang up on 3 separate occasions requesting cancellation for my membership. I was told on each occasion it was not possible unless I visited the facility in Oran park - even when I told them it was not possible for me since I moved out of the area. on my final attempt to cancel, they said that it was not a problem- they just needed to email me a form. I asked why this was not sent to me in the first place and they told me that there was no record of me ever calling to cancel. Really unprofessional and Dishonest behavior. If there was a form available this should have been sent in the first place. the Information was intentionally withheld so that they could continually draw money out of my account despite not being able to use the facilities for over a year.

Fantastic experience: I can’t fault the facility. Great view. Great equipment. Staff are awesome, especially the manager she has made my experience as a beginner feel very welcoming. Her friendly personality has definitely helped me feel more comfortable and has reduced my gym anxiety a bit by seeing an approachable face every day. 4 weeks in now and the only downside I have is questioning why didn’t I start this journey earlier???

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional and rude club admin staff. I’ve (unbelievably!) been a member of this place for over 2 years. Services were largely ordinary but we also had no major issues per se. Recently, I contacted them to cancel my membership. The email exchange was cryptic (to describe it politely!) and when I phoned in to speak to the club manager for clarification regarding a certain clause, she sounded terse and impatient. If there was an ounce of doubt in my mind about whether or not to proceed with the cancellation, the last interaction with club manager, Kaniesha Whicker has safely eliminated that. To anyone looking to get a new gym membership in the area, I’d recommend that you take your business elsewhere. Plenty of better and more customer-focused gyms in the area that actually care about their members and their fitness.
