Fantastic experience: Amazing people to work with. My kids 3 & 8 are both obsessed with My First Gym. There’s a huge variety of activities to participate in every week. Free play and sensory play during the weekdays for members is so much fun too.

Fantastic experience: My son goes to class at North lakes my first gym. He loves every single class, starting with ninja warriors, to parkour, ending with martial arts. Every time we come he has a great time and always wants more. Teachers are amazing, patient and encouraging

Fantastic experience: My daughter didn't have the confidence to do the monkey bars at school with her mates so we signed her up. Since joining my first gym her athletic & fitness skills have grown and her confidence is through the roof. We love the coaches at my first gym north lakes! My first gym north lakes has been a great outlet for our daughter. Thanks MFG north lakes!!

Fantastic experience: Our kids have a wonderful time here and love the classes. All the coaches at North Lakes are very energetic and great with children. Our kids need a less structured, performative and competitive environment for exercise, compared to standard dance, gym and sports activities. MyFirstGym is great for encouraging movement and exercise in a more relaxed environment.

Fantastic experience: Took my 2 year old for a trial class, and she’s usually quite reserved, shy and anxious in large groups and around strangers, but Josh our incredible instructor was so friendly and gentle, she warmed up to him quite quickly and ended up having a really good time! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to add a bit of fun physical activity into their child’s weekly routine.

Fantastic experience: My son celebrated his 13th Birthday here, and it was a huge success. The booking process was very simple and Laura the manager was very accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend for a party venue and will definitely use again. The kids were kept entertained and active and there is a fantastic party room where we could bring our own food and drinks for the party. Thanks very much!

Negative experience: Would give them a 0 if I could Financial situation changed. Now I'm $200 out of pocket before Christmas

Fantastic experience: My son is just under two and has been going here for a year. The coaches are great and really put the time and effort in with him and the other kids. Laura and her team are easy to talk to and make the effort so that the kids enjoy themselves.

Negative experience: It is a shame I can't rate this a zero. Absolutely shocking ability to manage their own accounts and set up payments according to agreed dates. 5 late payment fees in one week meaning one session cost me over $80. Tried to reason with them and they claimed it wasn't them only to find out they had set up the account in my 9 year old sons name which is far from legal. Lock you into a contract they have no control over and force you to sign up to ezidebit who take money from your account whenever they feel like it followed advice from the gym only to get stitched even further with ezi debit and they tried to wipe their hands of the responsibility. No other payment options and you have no control over it whatsoever. Proved the money was in the account and they took it on the wrong day and again wiped their hands. Would not recommend at all! Absolute thieves!

Fantastic experience: My 4 year old has been enjoying my first gym in NorthLakes, they have such an awesome range of classes to keep kids engaged and learning physically and mentally. The team is fantastic with kids, it’s an all inclusive gym where all the kids thrive! We are so glad we found this place! Would highly recommend for any age group.

Fantastic experience: My 7 year old grandson has been coming here for the last few months and loves it! The variety of classes and the coaches, make every class lots of fun for all the kids! Would recommend My First Gym to anyone who wants their kids to experience classes such as ninja warrior, sport, gymnastics, hip hop dance, and parkour to name a few. Prices are great too! Give it a try, your kids will love My First Gym!

Fantastic experience: This is my sons favourite time of the week! He loves the open space and obstacles and is learning all about his body. He’s made amazing friends too. The coaches are phenomenal with the kids and really know their stuff.

Fantastic experience: Oliver just started a couple of weeks ago and he does 4 classes a week. And see the joy class after class, the excitement before every course. And see him learn new skills and keep up with his very active energy is everything we could ask !! Also hat off to all coaches that have always a friendly and fun mood and made the whole experience more fun!

Fantastic experience: This is a great place for young children to exercise while having lots of fun. So much variety too. I bring my granddaughter who comes to gym every week and then alternates between dancing, tumbling and cheerleaders. All the instructors are qualified. They have good facilities and equipment, undercover parking which is good on rainy days. And your 1st class to see if you like it is free.

Negative experience: Great concept, but unfortunately very badly run! You are basically paying quite a bit for amateurs to watch your children! I would recommend you stay and watch what you are paying for with school aged children. My 7yr old granddaughter said she was very bored & it was a lot better last time (under previous management) When there were actually ‘Gymnastics’ offered! Rather than simply offering duck duck goose, colouring in, indoor cricket & a movie on the tv. When i approached the manager about this I was abruptly told we should have booked in for a particular class if we wanted to do gymnastics! Im sorry…isnt this a ‘gymnastics’ centre?! My granddaughter asked if next time we can just go somewhere else! We won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: I've been bringing my boy here for a couple of months now and it has been great. Every single class has had a different obstacle setup which has been great for my energetic 2 year old. The instructors are professional, engage well with every child and I feel my child is safe with how experienced and caring the instructors are. They also have a free play area which also has a different obstacle every time we have been. I highly recommend my first gym to anyone with children.

Positive experience: The set up is great, my kid loved the course, but the instructors change regularly and are often below average. Even the good ones have no skills in managing challenging behaviour from the kids, and some of the activities are just not age appropriate

Fantastic experience: Actually giving a genuine 5 star review… we have been with MFG North Lakes for a year and a half now. There has been a change in owner and management during this time and yea I have noticed several hiccups throughout that… HOWEVER, I cannot recommend this crew enough! The contract is clear when you sign up so you know what you’re getting, my kids have been able to play - rain hail and shine!!! There’s undercover parking which I LOVE and the current team are incredible in their communication and their interaction with the kids of ALL ages and learning types (including ASD and ADHD) and they are cheaper per class (especially when you select 4 classes a week at around $25 a week TOTAL!)… no need to cancel because of rain and great way for kids to learn gross motor skills, communication and team work and a large variety of classes they can try without a set routine (I.e. you can change up which class you go to each week or you can keep your classes the same, it’s up to you and your kid!). Highly recommend!

Negative experience: TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!!!!! We were told it was basically pay when you go. Enrol him in classes and pay for them. The gym is SO POORLY organised, they have been taking money from my partners account and he has tried online to cancel numerous times and finally got through to them to be told. It was 28 DAYS TO CANCEL & THEY ARE GOING TO KEEP TAKING MONEY OUT even though we have not been there this year! DISGRACEFUL - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME MONEY OR ENERGY. TRY Ready, Steady down the road, much better experience!

Negative experience: Had to take my son out of his class and leave with him crying in my arms. Now 3 weeks into him attending this Gym the staff are saying that he isn't suited for the classes of his age group.

Negative experience: Casey and Monique are an absolute joke of owners. They have CONTINUALLY taken MONEY out of my account and WON'T send me my contract. I am absolutely fuming and will NEVER recommend this place. They told me that due to my child increasing in age the fee's are increased, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO LET PEOPLE KNOW IF THE PRICE INCREASES but don't lock me into a contract I didn't sign!!!!!

Negative experience: I cant even give this place 1 star the staff are rude and don't even get me started with the money side of things never signed a contract yet were told once my son turned 15 months the price doubled and to quit we had to continue paying for so many days after money is continuously being taken from my account of various amounts been trying to contact someone in regards to this and no one is available leave messages and no one ever returns calls its poor management and so unprofessional do not recommend this at all

Negative experience: Terrible customer service advice, when it comes to handling money. Money is continually taken out of my account, even though I am no longer abliged to pay for their services that are very much unwanted now The majority of staff are subtlety disrespectful and border line up themselves. The facility is right next to a busy road, the only thing separating a car crash and children is glass For a couple weeks, the air con, the only ventilation in a sealed off gym room was broken

Positive experience: It's okay for the kids to get some exercise.

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough positive things about this place. The staff is amazing. Chris and Shania are especially wonderful. Our 2 year old is here almost every day and is obsessed. Great for building confidence, climbing skills and getting lots of physical activity with a class that is structured yet not restrictive so if your bubba just wants to run around and have a fun play that is also all good! The free play is a lifesaver for rainy days. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: I have signed my 2 boys up with My First Gym (North Lakes), after 2 trials. My boys absolutely love it. The staff is AMAZING! The encouragement that my boys and all children get is great. I would and have recommended other to My First Gym. It’s inclosed and safe so regardless if it’s raining, the kids can still attend. My boys have been to Ninja Warrior & Dashing Dingoes. Even with one of my son’s who is on the spectrum and is hard to settle, the staff member through positive engagement got my son involved. Staff is amazing and I, myself just love the place. Parents can relax while watching their kids. People, get your kids to My First Gym and see your child’s love of movement and development excel. From one Happy Mum
