Fantastic experience: 5 years ago I moved to the coast & walked through the doors at Salt. It has everything you need. Great variety of classes for all different levels of fitness, amazing instructors, great array of weights & a functional fitness space to create your own workout. Get a PT session or just go for a walk on the treadmill. I have met some wonderful friends for life. We continue to explore our fitness potential & support one another in our journey.

Fantastic experience: An extremely friendly gym made me very welcome when I moved to the Sunshine Coast . There is an amazing number of group classes which cater for all ages and abilities from dance , movement strength weights . So glad I found this new group of friends .

Fantastic experience: The super friendly and supportive staff at Salt made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. Shout out to Susy! I love the variety of classes here and the Personal Trainers Kel and Julie are friendly and welcoming with a wealth of knowledge. I love the buzz of the gym floor, the people here are working towards there own individual goals. It's such a positive place. One of the cleanest and tidiest as well.

Fantastic experience: Over the years I have stepped foot into a few gyms, while also teaching yoga and Body balance. When I walked into the SALT Health Club I immediately felt a different vibe, and I knew that I would make many friends here, which has certainly come true. The staff are always very welcoming, the classes full of fun and the equipment pleases every muscle in my body. This is truly the friendliest gym on the Sunny Coast and I could recommend anyone to come and check out this beautiful space. Even the music is pleasing to the ear, while you work out.

Fantastic experience: Finally I've found a gym that is inclusive of everyone, without age (older or younger), gender or ability limitations. I book the classes the most, as it's a good combo of movement, music and enjoyment.

Fantastic experience: They’ve got an app now?! Amazing! Okay so best local gym I’ve been to. Muscle focused equipments, so many classes and a place to just feel motivated to do better. They make it easy for you to come in and out without a hitch. And the facilitate classes for those have injuries. Thanks Salt crew!

Positive experience: Great gym. Mostly great staff but had a run in with a lady who works there. During Covid, when they reopened, they failed to let me know and started taking money from my account when i was jobless and unable to pay for it. When i checked and saw money was coming out i phoned them to chat and the lady had 0 sympathy for the fact i wasn't made aware that payments were back and wasn't prepared for it and didn't consider a refund or holding off for longer so i cancelled my membership. Is an amazing gym but this encounter was very off putting. Feedback for future is having some sympathy for where people are at, especially after the year we have all had.

All of our Gym members were sent an email prior to us reopening, giving the option to stay on hold or reactivate their membership. I have looked back through the correspondence with yourself and our previous manager and can confirm that an email was sent to your Hotmail account, this email may have gone into your spam or junk mail. I am sorry you felt the need to cancel your membership and have taken on board your feedback. As you were loving our Gym I would like to offer you 3 months complimentary Gym membership as compensation. Fantastic experience: Fantastic facility with friendly staff and awesome equipment. As a cyclist with no experience in gym resistance training, the owners Rick and Wendy went out of their way to show me around and help me get the technique down from the start :) I highly recommend Salt Health Club to anyone (beginner or advanced) looking to join a gym with a friendly, family atmosphere.

Negative experience: Love it ....However they need a policy where customers can't adjust the aircon just cause they are hot. Which means everyone else has to freeze. Does happen like this at every other gym I have attended. .
Sorry but we have NO Jim Forbes as a Member of our Gym, so maybe your reviewing the wrong Gym Jim! Our Air Conditioners a massive units and run 24/7 and set at 22 deg. We dont allow anyone adjusting the temperature up and down as its not good for the units. Most Gym's & other businesses have the same policy!
