Fantastic experience: Our daughter is part of the T&T High Performing Squad, and she can't wait for her lessons every week! The coaches are absolutely fantastic – they're not just approachable for any feedback about your child but are also super friendly and, when needed, firm. We, as parents, are kept well-informed about upcoming competitions. We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the BTYC Donvale family!

Negative experience: I would not recommend this gym if your child is not a professional gymnast or as a career. I have been taking my child to BTYC for over two years, and I have not seen any improvement. She can't even do cartwheels. There are too many kids and not enough instructors or care. Unfortunately, my child has made a couple of friends and she likes to go there. I have written off the expenses as her leisure experience, not an exercise.

Fantastic experience: I am a gymnast in lvl 6 WAG and the facility, gym, coaches and comp results are really good. Highly recommendd

Fantastic experience: A fantastic club with great equipment and great coaches. My daughter loves training at BTYC and what sets it apart are the strong friendships she has grown to love and a welcoming culture that is always inviting while challenging athletes to be the best version of themselves. As a parent I love the observation deck as my daughter can see me there and I can watch her do great things. BTYC comes with my highest of recommendations.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the state. Staff are lovely, excellent rec, mag and wag programs available. Would recommend BTYC to anyone looking to start their gymnastics journey.

Positive experience: I did gymnastics for 4 years there ( including lockdown online classes ) I loved this gym so much and all their staff were friendly! Special shoutouts to Bianca and Bridget for being my coaches when I was in the gymstar program. I love their system of the house points! The only downside is when I used to do recreational, it was 4-5 so it was a rush after school as my school ended at 3:30 and it was really difficult to get changed so I was was often late. Maybe make it start at 4:05 or like 4:15 so everyone doesn’t have to panic

Fantastic experience: Amazing gymstar program, coaches and community. My daughter loves coming to training every week, not only has her strength improved, but her self confidence, which has carried over to school as well. Thanks Tayona, Bridget & team!

Negative experience: Not a very supportive environment for kids. Not recommended.

Negative experience: Good until you need "ANY" customer service or support! I encountered issues that were clearly caused by their own staff's mistakes. The most disheartening part was their apparent lack of concern for these problems. Reaching out to their customer service team felt like an endless loop of explanations, with no sign of them taking responsibility for the mishaps. Hours on the phone, trying to find a resolution, only to receive a mere "sorry, we apologise" as a response, left me feeling unheard and undervalued as a customer. It seems that with the long waiting list they no longer need to take care of kids and their mental health and business is now the priority! As a parent, it's natural to expect a level of respect and accountability when dealing with a service provider, especially one catering to kids. Unfortunately, my encounters with the customer service team (Evini, Chris and Susie) have been far from satisfactory.

Fantastic experience: Great venue with upstairs viewing area to watch state trials for tumbling competition

Fantastic experience: I really love this place. My daughter is in the Gymstar program and is naturally a highly anxious child, so the thought of competitions and performing in front of others was very scary for her. The coaches have been incredibly supportive and transformed my daughter into a confident young lady who truly believes in herself and at the same time have fun! Thank you BTYC.

Fantastic experience: Nice coaches and good structure for kids

Fantastic experience: Kids birthday party here was great for the age group (7). There was some guidance to activities, but lots of free play, which was what all the kids loved. The rope swing and foam put were the favourite.

Fantastic experience: BTYC is absolutely fantastic. Great for the kids, handled covid spectacularly (WAG program at least, can't comment on others). Kids happy to get back into it, very supportive and keep the kids interest up somehow. Would recommend an instructor but there are lots of really good people so don't need to.

Fantastic experience: BTYC's adult program is run by friendly and capable coaches who are there to help. I love the vibes of this place. Strongly recommend for those who want to try/get back into gymnastics.

Fantastic experience: wow, this place has such an amazing and supportive atmosphere! the coaches are great and the gym has an inclusive environment towards everyone, as well as a balance between hard work and fun. the center is large and spacious. would definitely recommend!!!!!

Negative experience: I never give bad reviews unless really warranted, and this time it is. This place appears to be all about cramming as many kids as they can into each class and delivering the bare minimum in return. Frequently, as in more often than not, classes start more than half way through, teachers fail to turn up etc. After almost a year my child has learned not one single thing above when they first joined. ZERO. Raising these issues with staff got, at best, an indifferent response. I am sure there are those who benefit at the top end - but anyone looking to join should avoid this place - cash cow is the best I can describe it as. There are lots of alternatives - I suggest you look around.
