Negative experience: My Loss is $6390. Yet no response from management of this place.

Negative experience: I have lost $5964.00 to this place. I have not used service for even one complate week. I am glad that I have all the proofs against this place scamming me. A Staff memeber scolding me like I owe her anything. So rude and unprofessional. I have contacted my lawyer. I wish, I would have read the reviews and saved myself from hastle. Please be aware....

Fantastic experience: I have joined 4 weeks ago. There are lot of classes available to suit your need. Mostly i love fit30 classes and childcare facilities. The staffs are amazing with help and behaviour. I got inspired because of the inclusive and kind attitude from trainer and staffs. Highly recommend to everyone

Fantastic experience: This is the story of a worried mother! Many of you join a gym for your own health and fitness, but I joined up my daughter, to improve her mental health and fitness. BEST THING I EVER DID! Have you thought of joining with your daughter? You should! I’ve seen such a dramatic change in her mental health and ability to cope with things. I love this gym, because I know that she’s safe with other women. I don’t need to worry about her using the bathroom and having a biological male walking in. The fob entry after hours, keeps us safe from people who shouldn’t be here. Binish and the staff are brilliant! Always ready to help, encourage, inspire and answer questions. Have you joined yet? Negative experience: One of the terrible experience i had at fermwood melton . The management is very poor and greedy people . I was on a 6 weeks contract and due to some medical reason when i want to cancel my membership after 10 weeks the staff insisted on freezing the membership fees without knowing me the freeze fee and start charging me the fees when i tried to talk about it no one answer the calls and not emails and when i spoke to staff they said ok give us the medical certificate when i provide them the certificate they are now still charging me the direct debits . Very pathetic service not supportive they don’t care if you have any medical condition they just need MONEY . I wish i read the reviews before going there . Please no one go to this gym its a trap and very very bad management .

Fantastic experience: I have been very happy with the service here. After many years of not going to the gym it's only been possible now due to the lovely onsite childcare. My kids love coming in with me and always want to stay longer. The gym is tidy and has a lot of different options depending on how you want to work out. The staff are so welcoming and encouraging. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: This review is Not about the staff who works there. However, I am very disappointed with Fernwood Gym. I give them 1 star because their prices are extremely high, and the cancellation policy is outrageous. I had to pay a $200 cancellation fee, plus they have to cut two direct debits from my account, totaling $400 in cancellation fees. This will be done without considering my circumstances. I feel like I wasted my money and regret ever joining. Also i wish i read the reviews that had similar issues like this before i join. I am so sad that i am writing a bad review but the fact that there cancellation policy not flexible at all.

Negative experience: What an absolute atrocious waste of money!! This gym not only abuses and ghosts staff members and then fires them without reason, it also puts members at risk of injury with unsecured equipment and lack of safety rails on the squat rack. To top it off the behaviour from management is utterly disgusting and treatment not only to staff but also members is horrendous. For example: multiple staff members being treated horribly, overworked and underpaid. Staff are then being fired without reason and the owners only reasoning for doing so being (wrong energy, lack of sales) mind you this is usually after cutting employees shifts and changing sales data to make it look that way. Using employees is an utter disgrace especially ones that work hard, and the fact that the gym is horribly overpriced and basically robs unknowing women is even worse!! If you can go to a different gym please do, if you need to go to fernwood go to any one other then the melton one unless you want to be treated like utter trash by the owner!! :)

Negative experience: With the amount of gyms in the area I’m absolutely baffled this cave ran by a troll is still in business. Most of the “5 star reviews” are faked as they often beg members such as my wife (who I will leave anonymous) to leave reviews in exchange for gifts. One of the said 5 star reviews was literally left by a trainer. We were locked into a contract we could not leave despite medical clearance, the motive of the manager is always how much money can she squeeze out of our pockets. Negative experience: You can TELL this place is terribly managed. I don't even think the manager uses her own gym LOL! Did not feel welcome and was very pushy with signing, the gym itself was average but other gyms blow it out of the water. Very overpriced. With the amount of better gyms in the area it is news to me how they are still in business!

Fantastic experience: I am loving it . The place is of full of energy and enthusiastic people. Full of different classes and good equipment for you. Trainers and coaches are amazing attitudes and staff is so helpful with care. Plus they have child care for mom to support in all cases. Love to come here every day. Amazing

Fantastic experience: I love the care and interaction of the staff with the members. They really care about your goals and your well being. Friendly and knowledgeable, if one Instructor can’t answer your question they will find someone who can. Lots of different exercise options in a clean and safe environment. I really enjoy the Friday morning tea get together in the kitchen. I highly recommend this gym.

Negative experience: Honestly the worst gym, it's basically a cult and all they care about is locking you in and forcing you to pay the most when they barely have any equipment. Hated every moment I was in this place, but felt like I had to try to get my moneys worth considering how expensive this hole in the wall is. They also do not care if you're injured and unable to workout anymore, they wont cancel your contract even if you have a doctors letter or proof of injury. Just go literally anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Im giving this place five star only for the there hiit 30 classes if ur going to join pay the extra for hiit 30 the trainers are amazing ilima really takes her tine making sure ur form is right As for the rest of the gym you not getting the free breakfest and high end gym stuff its all run down As its only gym in melton with a child care gabe and cherrly are amazing with the kids

Negative experience: My experience with this gym was very very bad. Poor Management. Extra cost for every class. Most of classes are virtual. No point of paying high amount weekly. Trainers get changed every now and then. Will not recommend to any one. Deserve 0 star.

Negative experience: They are frauds. Very poor Service. Will advise do not join this gym as management is bad. 0 starts. They don’t deserve even one star but had to post so giving one.

Negative experience: We provided cleaning services They owe us over $2000 since one year and never have paid chased up so many time they asked for payment plan after that they started to ignore my messages.

Negative experience: Thought I'd ignore the reviews and go in to sus out the 30 days for 29 dollar deal. Don't waste your time. The lady who gave me the tour, as nice as she was, was visibly sick and coughing. The gym was small. Most of their timetable is made up of "virtual classes" and the other half of their classes required "extra payments" and the highest form of membership. I'm not even paying for normal membership with the services they're offering (none). Surprised this place is even still open.

Negative experience: What an absolute disappointment. I cannot find the words for how unprofessional management is. I often took my two children with me as they absolutely loved the childcare worker Gabe, she’s AMAZING! After my workout sometimes we would use the kitchen so I could give my children some breakfast before leaving for daycare. The bread and milk was always out of date and mouldy so I would bring our own and just use the butter they provided. On checking the date of the butter it was almost 1 year out of date. I took this to the manager to discuss and what she said was, ‘breakfast is between 7-8am you are feeding your children after 10am’ I was astonished at her response! She was rude and dismissive of the fact she could have caused serious illness to my children. It’s overpriced and poorly managed. You do not get what they advertise, this is also true with regards to the programs and classes, I paid for a bundle of 3x personal training sessions which is advertised as including a program for guidance and a way of tracking progress. This is not the case, you have to pay for programming separately, when discussing this with the manager she claimed her pricing was very cheap compared to other gyms. I referred to the Fernwood app and what it said was included which she totally dismissed it. Management is rude and arrogant. The ladies that run the classes and also Gabe in childcare are amazing but honestly I wouldn’t waste my money here, I am currently looking for an alternative gym

Negative experience: Ladies be careful when you sign up with Fernwood Melton, I didn’t even know I was on a contract nor received a contract via email. I canceled my payment then bill chasers chasing me for on more than $600 overdue payment. Dodgy people.

Fantastic experience: I was a member since 2019 and due to covid and pregnancy ive had to cancel my membership. I just recently signed up again and im very happy with my decision. I love their group classes and the facility is better than I remember. Very friendly staff.. Im happy to be back in Fernwood Melton.

Negative experience: I would not even rate this facility. For the money you pay you don’t get quality of service in trainers, equipment or classes. You don’t get what you pay for or promised when signing up. People normally join the gym because they need motivation and want trainers that they can be influenced by. I was a member for over a year and gave positive feedback and nothing changed or improved. Don’t waste your money don’t get sucked in.

Fantastic experience: Fernwood Melton has been my happy place for 9 years. Love, love, love it. It has been a tough couple of years with multiple lockdowns but the Fernwood Melton vibe is back! The current FIIT 30 trainers are the best we have ever had. They are passionate about ALL their members getting results and share so much knowledge with us. I've made so many good friends here.

Negative experience: as an ex staff member I have to say that management is rude i was constantly bullied and staff are over worked and under paid told to do thing that were not ethically right. Being told to turn a blind eye to the fact equipment was not secured down correctly or maintained. spiders and insect all over the gym including the kitchen. mold throughout the celling of the gym. the elevator has not been serviced in many many years and smells. it took staff leaving and members complaining to get new equipment. over priced for what they offer many other gyms offer the same from the fraction of the price

Negative experience: This gym needs to be shut down or this Binish woman needs to be fired I was a second away from joining but thought I would look at the reviews.. instantly I’m turned off and you just lost a possible future member. Changes needs to be done because you are going to lose a lot of future customers.

Negative experience: To begin with my experience at Fernwood Melton was pretty typical to all other encounters at other gyms. However as time went on it became clear to me that the club manager Binish does not care about her members, rather the money brought in by them. The memberships are extremely overpriced for what you get (old outdated gym equipment with many things having problems), and there's add ons for everything at the gym so that they take even more money from you. Not to mention the staff turnover is extremely poor as a result of the amount of work load placed on trainers upon starting. I would never recommend this club to anyone, especially females who go here thinking that it is a supportive environment where girls support girls, because it definitely isnt. There is a feedback box on the reception desk which is anonymous however Binish tries to find out which club members write what and then proceeds to talk badly about them to other members. This is one of the most unsupportive gyms and im so disappointed in the whole experience. It's like you are back at highschool with all the petty drama going on

Negative experience: Over priced to begin with, they lock you in for 12-18 months but change the price or additional fees once you're locked in. 0/10, don't waste your money here

Negative experience: Overpriced compared to other gyms that have heaps more variety of equipment. Excessive fees for no reason. The money didnt come out for my membership on the first go I got charged another $20 on top of my expensive membership, when all they could’ve done is try again ?? Also excessive cancellation fee. Don’t join unless you want to be glued into a contract with additional $50-100 admin fees when you want to make changes that takes them 5 minutes to do

Fantastic experience: Gigi is so knowledgeable and encouraging in her Reformer classes, my body has changed so much since taking these classes. I love how professional and lovely Gigi is with all of us, taking the time to make sure our technique and form is correct with each exercise.

Negative experience: The worst Gym ever, the manager so rude, they are always typing to deduct money from my account for no reason even when my membership on hold.

Negative experience: My experience at Fernwood has been absolutely horrid. At the beginning, I really enjoyed my experience until the owner began to talk about me to other members and staff and bully me. I wanted to cancel my membership however she refused and I felt too uncomfortable to go any more. The gym is disgusting and mouldy, very outdated. The owner has said nasty things to staff members in front of members on numerous occasions that I have witnessed. I would literally rather die then walk into any Fernwood especially Melton ever again. There is never staff that last here for more than three months and this causes classes to be cancelled and changed. It is extremely overpriced and the owner is really nasty.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of 5 different gyms in the past and I always go regularly for a bit and then lose interest, so I was hesitant to join another... but I was really interested in giving reformer a go. I can honestly say I really look forward to getting to the gym after work now! I love the atmosphere and the good vibes, especially the classes w Christine, she's the GOAT. Really seeing progress physically and mentally and happy to have found a gym I actually want to go to

Fantastic experience: Great gym with a huge variety of group classes throughout the day (not just early mornings/evenings like many other gyms), good equipment and a brand new Reformer Pilates studio. The staff are very friendly and have made me feel very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for them ☺️

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the marketing staff Binish in Melton . Have signed up for the 6 weeks membership and wanted to cancel few times due to severe health reasons and explained to her. She has been pushing to hold it and never once told there will be a 250 to 300 charges charged to do so. She has always been rude and changes her statement of words while I speak to her. Even signing up time she has pushed to get the contact returned ASAP and never explained on the important hidden fine prints on it . I really feel scammed. Very sneaky and highly professional scamming woman'S GYM . Waited for their return call and never got any return call but they still deducted my acct. Ladies never sign up with them . You will be a prisoner in this place .

Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY DISSATISFIED WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OVERALL EXPERIENCE. Booked and paid for a session with a nutritious only to be told to download an app by a staff member who is not professionally trained or skilled nutritionist. Purchased a package for 5 sessions with a personal trainer...no receipt. Due to personal reasons, I am unable to attend further therefore I have requested a refund or at least to transfer it to a friend ( as a present ) so my money don't go to waist and guess what: this is not possible! I've ask the question why and I am told is in the T&C so...I start ready the T& C that I have agreed to and signed for and nothing but wait: it says that they can choose to update the T&C as they wish so guess what? I am sent a copy of the T&c that says now it' not transferable so if this is not enough ....I don't know what is....not to mention the condition of the equipment...please make a wise decision when choosing a gym...This is definitely a bad experience for me and for the reasons outlined above plus more....would not recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I've only been there 3 week's now and loving it. The staff are friendly they're listening to my needs as to why I'm there. Always smiling when we see them.

Fantastic experience: I entered into a challenge that was running and was pleasantly surprised of the support and comradeship that I experienced. I did weekly PT sessions with Sheena who was able to push my butt into action. The staff are super nice and always willing to help with anything I need.

Fantastic experience: Fernwood allows me to exercise during the day with quality care from beautiful Gabe in the childcare!

Negative experience: Don't go to this gym...I joined the gym and I requested them to hold my membership as I have been diagnosed fibroids in my uterus same time and soon will be attending major surgery but without informing they have deducted $500 from my account. Very rude people did not even listen to me called and never called me before deducting money.. This is how they forcefully take money and never listen when you call. I am going to take legal action against them for their behaviour and there way of forcefully taking money from your account... Shameless staff.

Negative experience: I would have given 0 rating if there was any option for this. This place is super greedy, staff is litterly so rude, unprofessional, and would not listen. I was forced to put my membership on hold when I called to cancel it due to my personal circumstances, after 2 months paying fees for hold I called to cancel as I had another surgery which was an emergency surgery ( not planned). When called to cancel then I was told to pay 1 month full fees $100 plus $200 cancelation fees which I don't have any issue as I know my contract but I paid $50 for PT session before the surgery but couldn't use it as I just had an emergency surgery so after asking for credit of my own $50 I was told it's not possible so I lost those $50 as well. I wish I have canceled my membership 2 months ago. Honestly there are other great gym who are cheaper in price and not greedy and more professional. Please avoid this place. Trust me you deserve better than this.

Negative experience: i would not recommend joining this gym, over priced and they are super greedy, id listen the bad reviews on this one. they basically stole $70 from after i wanted to leave. you cant even leave without them forcing you to pay even if you leave the right way. and not cancel early. i gave them months notice as well plus contract was expired... they still decided they are allowed to steal money from my bank account regardless.

Negative experience: Terrible company Fernwood. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and my membership was put on deferral. However never was I advised at any stage my payments would re start. As i was not working I stopped the payments with my bank. Called Fernwood and again put on deferral. As i was unable to workout due to having cancer and I decided to cancel my membership. Not only have they told me that I owe a month membership I also have unsuccessful payments i have to pay. I had breast cancer this is a womens gym and yet they are asking me to pay over $180. I didn't attend the gym. Every company I have a membership with and even my child's daycare have helped me through this horrible time. I have begged Fernwood to waive the unsuccessful payments. Fernwood Melton declined. I am shocked and so concerned a womens gym could be like this. I am now going elsewhere to an amazing gym that cares for my wellbeing as well as money. Fernwood Melton lift your game. I will not stop until everyone I know has heard this story.

Negative experience: I found the staff to be friendly when I joined but I decided to cancel my members after 7days as I was showed how to use the equipment but it was going to cost me $70 a fortnight for 5weeks then $44 every forthnight after that for a year It just seem all about the money, now iv joined a gym in Melton and it's pay as you go.
