Fitness Foundry Ferntree Gully

Fantastic experience: Sport and gym environments didn’t have a lot of happy memories for me, so venturing through the Fitness Foundry door for the first time was a nervous step. I could not have hoped for a more welcoming, accepting, encouraging and judgement-free group of people - members and coaches alike. Everyone at different stages of different journeys, but all doing it together and supporting each other. 10 months later, I’ve lost 30kg, gained new friends, and am enjoying physical activity again!

Fantastic experience: When I retired I needed some new interests in my life and a greater focus on my health and wellbeing. Joining the Fitness Foundry Family has proven to be the best decision I could have made. There I have found a whole new community of likeminded friends who along with some super supportive coaches have helped me become a stronger, fitter , healthier version of myself which hopefully sets me up for a long healthy life. I cannot thank the team at Fitness Foundry enough for their honest care and support.

I didn't think I'd stay long after the wedding, but nearly a year after my wedding, I'm still going strong The team at Fitness Foundry are always supportive and friendly, and they encourage everyone to push themselves to new heights. Fitness Foundry has the best community around everyone is really friendly and willing to help when needed

Fantastic experience: For nearly 3 years fitness foundry has been my fitness haven. They have created a fun & friendly environment amongst its members to exercise in no matter your fitness level. I also love the variety of classes & times available to train. Their encouraging team of coaches provide guidance and support to assist you with your goals, they are also able to adapt their program to any fitness level and they are able accommodate injuries to keep you moving even if you are limited with what you can do. Certainly a 5 star recommendation from me if you are looking to start a fitness journey at Fitness Foundry.

Fantastic experience: Started at Fitness Foundary Ferntree Gully nearly 2 Months ago and it has been the best decision I have made. Great bunch of people from clients to coaches and great workout routines which change up weekly. Even though I have been there for a short time my fitness and stamina has increased so much that I wish I could be there daily to increase it even more. Fantastic experience: Attending classes at FFFTG is the highlight of my day. The trainers are supportive and motivating and I find this style of circuit class fulfils the gap in my life retiring from organised team sport has left. The other members are my new team mates and are friendly, supportive and like minded. 10/10 Shane for building such a positive and supportive community.

Fantastic experience: Have to get somewhat back into shape after our extended lockdowns , finally got motivated and signed up with Shane at FTG coaching zone after seeing them on FB. Cannot be happier with the friendly knowledgable staff, fellow class participants are super friendly and i cannot not recommend FTG coaching zone highly enough. I leave each training session knowing ive made the right choice with Shane and the team.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Shane after having back issues for about a year. He went through everything, from what’s wrong, why and correct movements with me. He gave me an activation plan to wake my muscles up each day and I haven’t had pain since. He also helped me with all my incorrectly lifting practises. I cannot be more greatful. Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for about 3 months and I really enjoy this facility. All the coaches are great, the people in the classes are friendly and the ease of the booking app for classes etc is very user friendly. I’ve been to other gyms in the past but this is the best one.

No matter how I was feeling the motivation and positive attitude of everyone made a huge difference. The Coaching Zone Ferntree Gully is a great place to work out, lots of fun, laughs and smiles, very inclusive of all regardless of shape, size, age or fitness level. They are always there to help and support. You don't need to look any further than The Coaching Zone if you are ready to make a positive change for yourself and have fun while doing it.

Fantastic experience: Shane & his team are all Totally Awesome, their enthusiasm professionalism is out standing plus their on top of the game. I just did there 6 week challenge, it was hard at the beginning but I succeeded in my goals, lost 8kgs, increased muscle mass & reduced body fat, they coach me & other all the way giving support & help. Even the other participants are very helpful & encouraging, they all make you feel very welcome.

Fantastic experience: Living in a land girt by sea, we are all familiar with the power of the Shark. But a scarcely known fact about the shark is that it shares a lot of similar traits with those who commit to Fitness Foundry. While Shane and the team may not be apex predators of the ocean, just like a Shark, they are only capable of moving in one direction, forward. And you too will only go forward when you join the Fitness Foundry community. So come down and join the crew, and people will definitely take notice of you when you’re on the beach.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start? By far best environment to train. Shane has nailed it when organising space and staff. People all ages and different strengths train together as a family/community. Encouraged to be and do the best our bodies allow us to achieve. Exercises can be modified or intensified during class. Trainers walk around each class making sure we are doing exercises correctly so we don't harm ourselves. We wear heart monitors so we know when we are in correct zone on wallboard. No shaming. Comfortable to be me. I'm 55 and love this place so much. It's my sanity. So glad I found YOU ALL XXXX

Fantastic experience: Having tried a few over the last few years it’s easily the best gym I’ve found in the area. Have been going to CZFTG for just over a year and love the variety of classes available and the knowledge of Shane and Kayla who always know the right time to push you a little harder or acknowledge I’m an old man with plenty of injuries. Definitely went the extra yards lending out equipment during Covid and the zoom sessions helped push the body while we couldn’t attend in person. I would highly recommend CZFTG to anyone of any fitness level.

The coaches Shane and Kayla give very personalised help especially when you have injuries.Its a really fun and positive atmosphere to train in. I find training with the zone belt keeps you accountable and pushes you harder than just going to the gym and doing your own thing. The zoom classes during Covid have been fantastic to keep us connected, fit and motivated.

Fantastic experience: Welcoming and inclusive staff. AM and PM session times allows 24/7 shift workers to always be able to get to a session. Fun, convivial training environment. Friendly trainers with whom you can have a bit of a joke and a laugh, but keep you focused on technique and effort during the session, so you always feel that the time spent in the gym was worthwhile, enjoyable and beneficial.

Fantastic experience: Just over 3 months ago I finally went back to the gym after 9 years of talking about it but never following through. I never liked the idea of looking like I did and working out in front of those much fitter. A friend told me about Coaching Zone Ferntree Gully and Shane. I went for the 7 day trial and felt comfortable from day one and havent looked back. Shane and Kayla provide a lot of support and have developed a spectacular place to go to to get fit and healthy. CZFtg is like the extended family and where everyone is made to feel welcome always. Everyone training has a smile on their face no matter the pain all because of the atmosphere that had been created. CZFtg is definitely the best gym for the best results.

Fantastic experience: Coaching Zone Ferntree Gully is honestly one of the most rewarding and fun places to set and smash personal goals. Before I started Coaching Zone my fitness remained stagnant as I didn’t have the confidence or the motivation to push my body to the point that was needed to see and feel a difference. Both Shane and Kayla encourage and motivate me every session to push myself to the limit and I feel so much stronger and fitter for it. More importantly I have made some seriously good mates who keep me accountable and make the workouts so much more enjoyable. It’s better than personal training, it’s better than a standard gym membership, it’s a welcoming community, a stress reliever, a motivator and ultimately one of the best things I have invested in as I work towards a healthy future.

Fantastic experience: Shane is awesome and will look after ALL levels whether you are completely unfit and just starting out or already a beast. Works around injuries and makes it entertaining and fun, the time whizzes by. Very friendly, inclusive vibe here, you wont feel self conscious! Also LOTS of laughing going on. Kid friendly zone too! P.S its practically AT the FTG train station. Too easy.
