Fantastic experience: The perfect place for over 50th or beyond - to start your health journey. I had my first initial assessment for joining strength building classes - very well organised, everything explained, the equipment that is suitable for you - demonstrated. The staff showed me around and explained all the different options for a perfect suitable schedule. A modern, very well presented and organised facility. They all make you feel welcome. I can't wait until I have my first work-out. Thank you to all the staff who were involved in my assessment.

Negative experience: Don’t use there car park, they havent even maintain the car parking for 8 months -said by them, at 5:30 pm it closes and we had no idea and now our car is stuck in the car park and we cannot get it out since they have forggoting the password, this is ridiculous AND GET UR CARPARK UNDER. CONTROL

I take my NDIS client for his weekly workout and he enjoys his sessions in the early afternoon when it’s not as busy. We like the wrist bracelets to tap onto the machines and having it all preprogrammed. I highly recommend Avanti.

Fantastic experience: I was not a fan of going to a gym where it can be daunting especially when you are 64 yo. I would pass Avanti Caloundra on my way to the hairdressers and one day decided to go in and have a look. Straight away I was made to feel at ease and welcomed. All the guys at Avanti are warm and friendly and will help you along the way to achieve your goals by working out a suitable program that is designed to suit your needs. I also love how you can put your membership on hold for those times you are on holidays or will be away. Thanks to Nicole, Chris, Ben and the other staff for making the centre a great place to be .

Fantastic experience: It was a long time between gym memberships for me, but the staff at Avanti made it easy. They were so supportive planning a regime just for me. They checked in with me each day I was there making sure I was using the equipments correctly and with suggestions if I was struggling with certain machines. Thanks to you all.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been coming to the gym most mornings since it opened. I have noticed improvement with my strength and flexibility from doing the exercises programmed for me. The staff are all super friendly and are available if I need assistance. I enjoy the music and friendly atmosphere at the centre. There is also occasional group morning walks and other social events to participate in if you are interested.

Fantastic experience: If you are over 50 this gym is a fantastic choice. All the staff are super nice and helpful and take an interest in you and your needs. This gym is not like other gyms, this gym you become family with staff and other gym members. I have been a member for well over a year and have seen improvement in old injuries and in areas of my health and well-being. Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, everything you need, including highly qualified staff on the floor at all times, and nothing you don’t….like old school having to change weights manually, remember your program and keep track of changes. Having the high tech but SO easy to use machines makes it all a breeze. Highly recommend

I feel safe exercising here, they know what injuries & surgeries you have had and ensure to protect against any further problems. Fantastic experience: Great gym. The staff here are friendly and genuine. They devise programs that cater for your specific needs. I’ve tried many gyms and I’ve often suffered injury as a result. At Avanti the constant supervision of Exercise Physiologists ensures I can get fit and strong while staying well.

Fantastic experience: Very professional health centre. I joined the Onero program, having never done ot before and can highly recommend it. The initial assessment by the exercise physiologist was very through and with the continued supervision during the sessions to ensure I use the correct techniques, I have already started feeling stronger and confident that I can safely lift weights with the aim of increasing, or at the very least, not loose any more bone density.

Fantastic experience: The exercise environment is casual and relaxing and a very pleasant experience. Usually not too busy so I have access to most machines when I need them. The equipment is always being kept clean by the staff attending. Totally love it

Fantastic experience: I’m not one that would normally go to a gym. Everything I did was on my own. After a lot of pushing from my Daughter and husband and a recommendations from other Avanti members I joined and have not looked back. I have a measurable improvements in my body strength, I can for the first time in years been able to get myself up from the floor and I admit not elegantly but I can and everyday I get better at it. I also walk up and down stairs without needing a rail. The programs are designed to improve your overall wellness and improve your overall wellbeing. The benefits of having fully trained physiologists is that you are not alone in that they help and guide you so that you are getting the benefits of training, no point doing exercises if you are doing them incorrectly. They also monitor your progress and guide you to more challenging exercises so you are always improving. Another most important aspect of Avanti is that you meet the most wonderful people. Everyone is encouraging and kind you feel welcome. I couldn’t recommend Avanti more highly. If you have never been a gym goer and you need to improve balance and strength then this is the place to do it. You will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: Avanti Health has put me back on the right track to regain my physical fitness. I love that I can go at my own pace but there is someone available to answer my questions. The new extended hours are great, as well, as it just adds another level of flexibility to my very busy life.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic set up and staff. You wear a personalised wrist band that you scan on each machine and it automatically sets up the machine to your height and the weight and reps you should be doing. No thinking necessary. I do the ONERO program there too which is tailored for those who wish to improve their bone density. It is for over 50's.

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming place. During your initial health assessment the exercise physiologist discusses your needs and goals. With an aim to improve.your wellbeing' longevity and strength. There is a range of equipment available and times are varied to cater to your lifestyle.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facility. The gym is very modern. The staff are all qualified exercise psychologists or exercise scientist and are extremely helpful. The admin staff are also always helpful and friendly. I joined when it first opened and I have never looked back. My overall health and energy levels as improved a lot. The new unstaffed hours are great and suits my lifestyle. I recommend Avanti to everyone who will listen.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Avanti since they first opened and I love it. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and there is an Exercise Physiologist on the floor at all times, to assist if you need. I have noticed a big difference in my functional abilities, strength, balance and range of motion, since attending. It's also a good place to meet people if you want that or you can go and just do your own program and at your own pace. There is also extended hours now which is great. All in all, I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I visited quite a few gyms before deciding on Avanti. It was the only gym that didn't put the pressure on me as I walked in to join up. Straight away I was made to feel at ease and welcomed. I'm 62 and Ben listened to what I wanted to achieve and he worked out a suitable program for me to follow. Avanti caters for my health needs with top of the range equipment, health talks and care. Nicole, Chris, Ben and the other staff are just wonderful.

Fantastic experience: Avanti Caloundra is one of the best gyms I have ever been to. The knowledge of the trainers is excellent. They are helpful and understanding about existing injuries and have the ability to give you a program that will assist in your recovery. From the minute you walk in the door you feel safe. There is always someone keeping and eye on you when you are exercising which is rare. If you want to work out then choose this Health Club and stay safe. The staff are so friendly you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I joined Avanti in January last year & I have never looked back. During my assessment with Ben he identified the lack of flexibility in my lower back as a result of a previous back injury & devised my program to address this issue as well as my dodgy knees. As a result my golf game improved out of sight & I am now able to walk the course! To say I am thrilled with my progress is an understatement. I love the facilities & the interaction with the staff & other members & an added bonus they play great music!! If you are considering joining then don’t hesitate you will love it & you are doing something positive towards your future good health.

Fantastic experience: A nice gym, nice decor, great equipment, state of the art machines from Finland. Over 50s. Exercise physiologist on the floor during regular hours but now there is unattended hours which makes it much more accessible. I don't like busy crowded gyms here I can pick my hours and go when it's quiet which is great. On-site parking. Highly recommended. Nice vibe.

Fantastic experience: I was reluctant to join a gym but after seeing Avanti at Caloundra I decided to give it a go. It is a lovely space to exercise in with light, spacious and modern facilities. A friendly, comfortable and casual atmosphere with lots on offer including individual workouts, group sessions and educational sessions and access to a range of qualified staff including exercise physiologists, physio, dietitian etc. Staff are lovely and convenient free onsite parking a definite bonus in busy Caloundra. Highly recommend checking it out.

Fantastic experience: After a lifetime of gym memberships Over 14 of them Joined Avanti March 2023 after a serious injury, 2 hamstrings torn off the pelvis, I needed expertise and care in my exercise program plus having an EP on duty gave me the confidence to get my fitness and strength back which I did pretty quickly. I have also made some great friends along the way the culture and atmosphere is friendly and warm.

Fantastic experience: I was very hesitant about joining a gym but Avavti was recommended & I knew I needed to improve my fitness as I suffer with a bad back. I can highly recommend Avanti. I was warmly welcomed & the Exercise Physiologist checked me out fully before commencing on the various machines, which are programmed to suit each client's needs. It is fully supervised at all times. The whole team at Avanti are excellent & care about their clients. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Positive experience: As a DVA member I was happy with all of the Avanti setup but my one drawback was the restricted time slot of 1:00pm, I am a morning person and would have liked the freedom to choose my own time.

Fantastic experience: I've never been a gym person before, but since joining Avanti this year I think I'm becoming one!! I love coming here to do my workout. It's spacious, light, clean with great equipment and facilities. People are friendly and accepting, and the staff are amazing - kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: Everyone is so friendly at Avanti. It doesn't take long to make new friends and there is always something going on outside of your tailored and personal exercise plan, Whether it be an Avanti Wander (short social group walks along our magnificent coastline) morning tea, a member seminar or group session. The TV screens have riddles to challenge the mind, Member of the Month and interesting and relevant health and well being facts. What sets the atmosphere and makes Avanti with its state of the art equipment so enjoyable, is the fabulous supportive physiologist and administration staff, headed by Chris. Avanti is also supported with a nutritionalist and physiotherapists. They really are the whole package.

Fantastic experience: I have now been attending Avanti Health Centre for around 9 months and never felt more active in years. The ability to monitor performance and most importantly know that professional Physiologists are constantly observing me to ensure I am undertaking my exercises correctly is of paramount importance. When exercising and working out on my own, I know that I fall into bad habits that are more detrimental to my physical fitness than actually undertaking the specific exercise. Even the brain seems to functioning clearly, if at all that is possible for me! Our 'Observers' are super friendly and most constructive in ensuring we are doing everything right. Fantastic experience: The gym is a great space for socialization with excellent equipment, very knowledgeable friendly staff. The new classes are great - in the boxing class I would have like three rounds instead of two but certainly an excellent workout.

Fantastic experience: Great over 50’s gym. I just started there last week. Friendly, helpful & very professional. There is always an Exercise Physiologist on the gym floor to help & advise. State of the art equipment. Cost is reasonable & affordable. A bonus is the free undercover parking & a lift up to the gym if you have problems with stairs.

Fantastic experience: The Staff are warm and friendly. They also have great knowledge f in their profession and willing to share it. The Gym equipment appears to be new a well maintained. The gym and office area of ground floor are clean and well presented. The exercise programs are many and varied and can be changed as fitness and circumstances needs. For the first time in my life I feel that exercise has benefited my health and wellbeing. Probably beneficial for my aging as well. If like me you haven't ever been an active sports player or gym attendee, this could be the very start you need.

Fantastic experience: An impeccable facility lead by very knowledgeable Exercise Physiologists. The service is very high standard - offering a full health screening and individualised programs for all members PLUS supervision by the healthcare staff throughout the day. Fantastic!

Fantastic experience: I love the fact that clients are given a health check before starting any exercise program and that program is then designed specifically for each client. I find the equipment easy to use and a qualified staff member is on the floor to ensure each machine is being used correctly and will change the program if necessary. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Have been attending the gym for a while now and it feels like a family, everyone greets each other and always friendly smiles everywhere. My balance and overall fitness have definitely improved. I would recommend this gym to anyone in the higher age bracket who may be a bit hesitant to join a gym.
