Fantastic experience: I originally signed up with Anytime yamanto from being close to my place but I have decided to give Booval ago and was impressed with how big it was lots of squat racks and equipment only issues is peak hour after 5pm like any where else gets a bit to busy but had no issues in the morning. Good gym

Fantastic experience: My husband and I recently joined Anytime Fitness, and the experience has been nothing short of fantastic. The gym boasts a modern design with top-of-the-line equipment, a spacious layout, and a welcoming atmosphere. A standout feature of this gym is its exceptional management. The manager Zach is not only friendly and approachable he is also extremely knowledgeable. Zach was quick to welcome us within minutes of entering the gym. As a new member, I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision to join Anytime Fitness. If you're looking for a gym that combines modern amenities with excellent management, this is the place for you.

Negative experience: Walked into your club once, stood there for 3 minutes, had someone get lippy with me as I walked in and then said “must of scared him off” as I walked out like a complete coward. If this the culture that you have created in your club, mark my words, I will never ever walk through your doors again. If I could send you negative stars, guarantee I would. Never have I ever walked into a gym and seen that. We also stood there and saw no receptionist or salesperson to help us, not that I wanted to stay there long enough to speak to someone anyway.

Fantastic experience: I am in my mid 60’s joined the gym for fitness and toning, in the approximate 5 months I’ve been there the staff are amazing and so helpful. About a month ago not feeling too good I went to suspend my membership Zac took one look at me and thought heart attack this man was unbelievable kind urging me to let him call the ambulance his care was just unbelievable then talking to him later his recommendations and advise have been amazing he has always been a friendly face with a beautiful smile. I can’t say enough about this gym and wonderful staff

Fantastic experience: Zach and the team at Anytime are the most welcoming, warming people that I have ever seen within a gym. Not only do they make the environment incredible, but they make it very comfortable. The team go above and beyond for all members which is great to see. The members are also incredible, no matter your fitness level, the team, members and incredible manager (Zach) will always make you feel welcomed and ensure you have the best time possible within the gym. It honestly feels like a family. #loveyoulongtime

Fantastic experience: It's very organized and neat, and the trainers are lovely. The free group classes are a lot of fun, very engaging and great for learning. There is a wide range of equipment, as it's one of the larger Anytimes. Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Been to a different gym a few years ago I didn’t like the experience, and I didn’t feel comfortable. But anytime fitness Ipswich has been wonderful, I feel comfortable to work out and interact with the staff members they are really sweet, looking out for us members and making sure we are looked after. If thats working out, exercise goals or even financial problems. I can’t recommend this gym enough!!

Fantastic experience: Signed up to the gym the other day , two very helpful girls helped me sign up and made the process quick and easy and always a friendly greeting when entering the gym.

Negative experience: I have spent the last 3 days trying to cancel my membership. Got a slack text on Monday advising I needed to send an email. Did this. Waited. No response. Sent a text Tuesday and got no reply. Sent during staffed hours too. I tried calling a few times but they won't answer. Have again today sent another text with no reply. This has shown to me I have made the right decision. I just want to cancel my membership but the staff are making it impossible to do so. Really not impressed.

Negative experience: The staff are neglectful The gym is always filthy weights left everywhere and bathrooms are absolutely disgusting I have seen elderly members, struggling to lift heavy weights that are left on equipment Pubic hair in the bathrooms and look like they have never been cleaned When brought to the staff attention, the girl just rolled her eyes

Positive experience: Stars are for location convenience and good equipment but no stars for cleanliness everything was dirty from equipment to bathroom facilities bit disappointing really.

Negative experience: Great facilities but staff ladies don't smile back only if your really buff or good looking they smile and talk back to them as it makes u uncomfortable to come back!!

Negative experience: Staff aren't quite as friendly as other Anytime Fitness locations I've been to in my experience. After saying hi on the way in quite a few times and not even receiving a smile I eventually gave up. Price is absolutely atrocious. $43.90 a fortnight runs by comparison almost $10 dearer than GoodLife which is known to be a premium gym. Told Anytime Ripley this and the girl nearly choked when she found out what we were paying. Only redeeming quality is half decent layout and equipment. But no fancy extras or benifits to being a member here. If not for the redeeming layout I'd be giving this gym a solid one star. Only out of convenience with location do we continue to go here.

Negative experience: To sum it up: Absolutely atrocious administration staff that DO NOT CARE about their clients. They put on a happy face, fake voice and promise things that they are unable to deliver. They then try to persuade YOU that YOU are in the wrong. I had to quote email correspondences of their promises to show I was not in the wrong. If anyone wishes to know more about this, please comment, I am happy to share.

Positive experience: The equipment supplied and the overall layout of the gym is quite good - multiple power racks/combo racks, pin-loaded cable machines and plate loaded iso lateral machines too. The gym floor is spread out nicely with the cardio section upstairs and a functional area tucked a bit out of the way from the main weights training area. The only real let down that I keep seeing is untidy member facilities, bins that are over-full and just a lack of attention to cleanliness at times. Clearly it is members who are creating this mess but unfortunately the responsibility falls back onto the staff. So I would hope there’s a good explanation for why the ammenities look like this and that it’s not just the result of staff being reluctant to maintain the facilities despite the clear untidiness of members.

Negative experience: Dear Anytime Fitness Booval, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent decision to reduce the music volume at 9 pm at your commercial gym. As a member of your gym, I feel that this decision is unreasonable and negatively impacts my workout experience. I understand that there may be noise restrictions in place for the surrounding area after a certain time, but I would like to explain why I believe the music is an important component of a 24-hour gym experience. Music is a powerful motivational factor that can help gym-goers push themselves further in their workouts. When the music is pumping, it creates a positive atmosphere that can leave a lasting impression on people. This positive feeling can be a major factor in keeping gym-goers motivated and coming back for more. By reducing the music volume at 9 pm, the gym is potentially taking away this crucial motivational factor, which could ultimately lead to a decline in membership retention. Furthermore, the music can also serve as a safety feature. With the volume reduced, it can be harder to hear the sound of weights dropping or other potential hazards, which can pose a danger to gym-goers. Firstly, many people, including myself, enjoy working out late at night or in the early morning when the gym is less crowded. During these times, the gym can feel somewhat sterile and lacking in energy. Music helps to create a motivating and energetic atmosphere that can help to enhance my workout and keep me motivated. Furthermore, the music can also help to drown out other ambient noises, such as people talking or the sound of equipment. This is especially important for people who may have trouble concentrating or who are easily distracted. With the music volume reduced, it becomes harder to focus on the workout and can even become frustrating. I believe that the decision to reduce the music volume at 9 pm is not in the best interest of gym-goers, and I respectfully request that you reconsider this decision. Negative experience: It should be advertised that this gym is NOT air-conditioned. It gets too hot inside. A few tiny window's occasionally opened and some big fans to blow the hot stale air around. I have been a member since this gym opened, summer will be very interesting. Lovely staff and great equipment layout but guys ITS WAY TOO HOT!!

Fantastic experience: New and clean facilities, all modern equipment. Great customer service from staff. Is never too busy. Can always find use the equipment want to exercise. Music choice and big screen motivation is nice also.

Negative experience: $20/week + $90 for the access tag and $100 joining fee. Lock-in contract too!! Here’s the information most people want when googling but are forced into providing their details to have a “call back” where they try forcing you to “come down and check out the club”. If I wanted to do that, I would have. But no, I wanted to get information online first about contract terms and fees. Lock-in contracts were done away with at least 10yrs ago by decent gyms. There’s so much competition in this area, I’m actually surprised you lock people in and charge so much. We will suck up the drive and go back to Snap Fitness where they don’t lock you in, include all classes and charge less than Anytime.

Fantastic experience: Tay and the staff are the hardest working and most interactive with customers I’ve seen of any gym I’ve been to. The place is always clean and tidy and weights put back. There’s gyms closer to my house but I come here cos I know it’s quality all round. Keep up the good work tay

Positive experience: Clean and cool, with windows that actually open for airflow. Hit yoga is great but I'm not sure why it's done to a video and an instructor. Not enough parking. Not great to have women walking down the dark street in the dark
