Fantastic experience: Plus fitness Kelso is by far the most accommodating, welcoming and supportive gym in Bathurst. The community that the owners, the manager Abby Lawler, and the employees have strived to create is above and beyond the level of any other. The atmosphere is nothing but friendly and laid back, the staff are always willing to lend a helping hand and are truly invested in the people that attend unlike other places in town. I would highly recommend investing in your health here.

Negative experience: Worst experience at this gym would not recommend anyone joining. Myself and a friend have tried to cancel our memberships in multiple different ways and have been ignored so have been unsuccessful in cancelling it. I felt uncomfortable at plus fitness mainly due to the management, But as well the gym was always extremely dirty and an unhygienic environment to be in. Filthy toilets and machines that hadn’t been cleaned frequently.

Negative experience: Why are there never any classes

Negative experience: Selective of who they enforce the towel use policy on, witnessed the staff pull someone up for not using a towel then shortly after one of the other staff members ran a pt session with another customer and didn’t even use a towel on the benches they were using and did not wipe down after or before use. Unless your friends with staff don’t expect a very nice atmosphere. If enforcing a rule is good enough for one it’s good enough for all.
