Negative experience: No oxygen or any sort of ventilation outlet. Aircon it's not working for weeks moSt of the time or just on the daytime very poorly. It keeps breaking down and been "replace" again and again. No one is happy with this issue. The owner it's very defensive, sensitive and rude about it, I'm guessing this issue keeps popping up. Staff Member are amazing but, they detest their Boss. They are truly embarrassed about the whole situation and suffering as well. Their claim it's the owner is very stingy and he's trying to save money on everything...sad! Incredibly disappointing honesty.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with modern and well maintained equipment. The best 24hr gym on the northern beaches at a very reasonable price.

Negative experience: Air conditioning does not work, only a noisy fan, there is no reclined table in the correct training area, water from the drinking fountain is hot all the time.

Negative experience: I like the gym but they don't turn on aircon in the middle of summer instead they keep the doors open. It too hot to workout there. Better look for other gym. You can easily find something better in same price

Positive experience: Great gym with good equipment. It can get rather hot during the summer or when crowded. Besides that no complaints!

Fantastic experience: Excellent management who clearly care. Equipment always in perfect in order, never a speck of dust, people with cool shoes and top tier towels. I did some research on how modern gym should operate and this ticks every box. And management should get some awards for their customer service.

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience at the gym on Saturday, 15th June. Upon leaving, I noticed a car blocking the walking path and addressed the driver, who rudely stated he didn't care as he was going to the gym. When I mentioned I would report him, he revealed he was the manager of this gym and could park wherever he wanted. When we walked together Inside the gym, the manager ignored my concerns about blocking the path for pedestrians, including those with disabilities, parents with kids. This lack of respect and understanding towards members and the community is unacceptable. As a long-time member, I am deeply disappointed by this behaviour and the disregard for accessibility.

Negative experience: Horrible management could not care less. Often equipment not in order, floor dusty, people without shoes, towels are accepted. Maybe someone should do some research how modern gym should operate and look appealing. And definitely management should get some customers service training.

Fantastic experience: I walked in to meet with Peter Pavlov and expected him to be a typical personal trainer and all about getting me to sweat and don't eat carbs instructions. I was blowen away by Peter's 20+ years experience and his dept knowledge of overall 'boy & mind". For which we approach different professionals and that can be really confusing. The gym is great, clean and specious. No luck around with parking. Overall, great place.

Fantastic experience: Favourite place to work out, the staff are always lovely if you are aswell and the entire gym is very clean. Ronan the manager or Talia always greets me with a lovely smile upon entry and are generally happy for a chat if not too busy. The gym always seems to be getting new equipment and they definitely make the most out of the space they have without being too overcrowded. They always also have a great selection of drinks available for purchase aswell as the power dose machine that makes fresh proteins and pre workouts as you wait. I also love how they have a challenge of the month where you can always test your self with different and interesting workouts.

Negative experience: Horrible staff, Outdated equipment and a general sour demeanour about. Just transferred to fitness first who I cannot believe I haven’t been with for the last 3 years.

Positive experience: Big and spacious gym with loads of different machines. I love that about it. The thing that lets it down is the state of the bathroom facilities, which are always covered in urine and toilet paper which is disgusting. I think a cleaner needs to be hired.

Negative experience: Not happy with the gym. Seems there are never any staff during working hours. Definitely quitting they were unhelpful and rude when trying to get a new swipe card.

Fantastic experience: I trained at this gym for 2 years before I moved out of the northern beaches. In my experience there, the gym has always been fantastic! The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and will always give advice if you ask. I always found the gym was very clean and tidy, the equipment was great and easy to use and the price was very affordable. I would happily recommend this gym to anyone

Positive experience: Why does the music playing never sync with the music channel on the video screens? They fixed it on Monday (finally) after something like 2 years, but tonight (Wednesday) it's back to normal. Aaaargh!!

Positive experience: Edit: Talked with the owner in person and I've changed my opinion. Still not happy with the fees + contracts etc but that is obviously an industry wide issue that everyone has to deal with. I would much prefer paying up front in advance for using the gym and having refundable fees for the key cards if they are returned in working order with no damage but that is an issue with the Plus Fitness parent company which institutes the rules.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of numerous gyms but Plus Fitness Brookvale is the only one I've loved and stuck to! There's always a good atmosphere and the staff are incredibly friendly. The gym is always so clean and it's 100% female friendly which is so important. I'd recommend Plus Fitness Brookvale to anyone!
