Anytime Fitness Wodonga

Negative experience: Really disappointed. When I signed up 5-6 weeks ago I was booked for a session with the PT in Albury, I attended the session to be told by staff the PT was away all week. They advised they would confirm a session and contact me, they havent. I have messaged the team on their mobile number many times trying to set up a session with the PT (as I'm very new to going to the Gym and wanted some help). I am repeatedly ignored and I have to follow up with text messages days later). I havent even been able to attend the gym once because I have no clue what Im doing and no help to do so. Really really disappointed in the lack of service.

Negative experience: They closed it down without notifying anyone, and still charging fees, no one to contact to cancel membership, atrocious, you have been closed down for over 6 weeks now. Are you going to reimburse your members or continually charge them and make it difficult for them to cancel their membership and have really poor attitude about them wanting to cancel, because they are paying for a gym they can't use?

Negative experience: I was going to this gym for a while, but did not find it very comparable to other gyms in the area as the equipment range is not great. If they spent the money to upgrade their equipment instead of wasting it on kettlebells, TV's and vending machines I would come back.

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff and good facilities

Negative experience: It's 11 am on a Saturday in mid June, and once again it is warmer outside the gym than in it. It is 11 degrees outside. This gym needs heating. This is ridiculous. The dumbbells are too cold to use without your hands aching after each set. The fans are still going, pushing the cold air around. It is actually uncomfortable. It's okay though, because the employees sit in the office with their own heating... Seriously though, we keep getting promised an upgrade but it never comes...

Fantastic experience: If I was totally selfish I would give the gym one star to deter new members however I am far from selfish and therefore cannot speak more highly of the team who have made incredible improvements to the gym facilities since I joined in March 2024.

Positive experience: Great range of equipment although some of it is looking tired. Great size, awesome a/c.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the biggest best anytime around Victoria. Very clean and loads of equipment. Even offer fruit.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and helpful staff. Machined are in good condition with plenty of options. Got busy later in the day when I was there but didn't have to wait very long for a machine.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited AF Wodonga and found tha the firmware on their C2 rowergs was out of date and causing the connection to the smartphone C2 app to dropout. The owner responded straight away and updated the firmware, so I updated this review rating to 5 stars.

Loud music (everyone has headphones now!). Good range of people at various stages of fitness journey. Would recommend.

Positive experience: No heating system. The gym itself has potential, with a large floor plan. No lifting platform, and no bumper plates to perform certain lifts.

The team is so friendly and always happy to see you and extremely happy to help with any and all questions or problems that you might have. The community is top notch and friendly. All in all its a great environment to work out in.

New owner is developing fitness awareness sessions and challenges for members and non members alike. These are designed to broaden health awareness across the Albury/Wodonga community. great job

Fantastic experience: I signed up originally in 2010, back when it was half the size it is now. The gym has gone from strength to strength, not only getting bigger, but better in every way. Since joining back up early this year, I’ve found the staff to be beyond helpful, approachable and friendly. The attitude of all members has been great, and the range of equipment is second to none. Looking forward to seeing what’s in store for the future!

The staff are always lovely to talk to and are very helpful when needed. The gym is always clean and has a great layout offering enough space for everyone at peak times. The newly introduced infinity classes are amazing for all levels of fitness! I highly recommend this gym to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I have been training at anytime fitness Wodonga for four years now. I have trained at other clubs in between, however whenever I am back at Anytime fitness Wodonga it feels like home! I have always loved going back because of how open and bright it is! It sets off a real warehouse feel for me which I find really cool! The staff and other members have always been extremely welcoming as well. Anytime fitness Wodonga has a such a great atmosphere, especially now with the Reno’s! It is the best gym on the border and I recommend anybody wanting to join the gym to sign up at Anytime fitness Wodonga Sammy

Fantastic experience: The cleanest Gym I've ever been into (& I m in a different gym most days). No dust or grime on machines, great effort. Spacious, well equipped layout. Not super busy, so plenty to go around. A few more (& larger) wall fans would be ideal, but Evap aircon is adequate if the workout isn't too intense

Fantastic experience: A large open space with plenty room in the equipment layout. The workout equipment & facilities are in good condition & clean. Good air con to cool me down whilst I sweated it out! I found the customer service really helpful. I was happy with the functional fitness set up also.
