Fantastic experience: I work out at Smart Fit in Brazil and when I got here I found everything good in this gym that I had in my gym in Brazil. That's why I chose “SNAP FITNESS 24/h.”

Negative experience: Terrible gym and customer service. Smells bad, all cramped up and takes forever to get the piece of equipment you want to use. All they care about is taking your money and taking more than they should be taking. Any gym is better than this one.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love coming here! Such a great space and community of people coming together to achieve their goals! Originally I was a bit hesitant about signing up to the gym again. After visiting many gyms I came across Snap! All my worries were reassured when I came for a tour and met the staff. James is so positive and never fails to lend a hand if you have a question.

Positive experience: I’m writing this review to complain about the lack of air conditioning. I have talked to the staff multiple times and they say they that they have air conditioning however the gym remains stuffy and humid. If you are not able to afford air conditioning at least purchase a standing fan, many people I have talked to agree with me about this. I love the gym but someone is going to pass out from heat stroke if you do not solve this problem.

Negative experience: Edit to reply to your message: I was rude after you were rude to me, Which clearly you still didn’t realised it. Every gym has aircon. lol. You didn’t reach out, you used the wrong number and threaten to cancel the membership. Out of the blue. See picture. Still waiting for my contract. Staff is not nice. I closed 2 aircon fans 2 times in more than 2 years that I was going there because the cold air was hitting my neck while running on the treadmill. They sent a nasty message (to the wrong number- I was made aware of it later on with a screenshot from a staff member) threatening me to cancel the membership for closing these 2 small fans out of probably more than 20 in the whole gym. I liked the gym, I never had anything bad to say about it. but I didn’t like how I was treated given that I never mistreated anyone there and never caused any trouble. If they reached out to me in a nicer way explaining why it was not allowed to close the fans I would still be going there. Up until this moment I never had any problem. They reached out to me only once about the subject with a message to my old number. After the staff update the number the week before. And the message was attacking and defensive. Immediate threat of canceling the membership. I didn’t like the way I was talked to for such a small matter that could have been solved with a more polite and adult conversation. A simple call asking politely to not do that because it creates problem with the aircon system would have done the job. Especially because those vents I closed have a sort of small door at the end of the hole with the purpose (I assumed ) of closing and opening that hole on the wall. So I never expected that such an innocent action would have caused me the possibility of being expelled. Moreover there were no signs saying that it was not allowed to close them. All I was expecting was some courtesy and politeness given that I never lacked it with them. After this episode i admit I have been quite unfriendly myself in my communication with them. I have been asking for a copy of my contract for more than a month now and they seem to ignore my request though because after asking for it for 4 times I still didn’t receive it. Apart from that the gym was alright. I just wish they had been nicer with me given that I never did anything wrong there and always respected the rules. I don’t understand why it is so difficult to be nice with people.

Anywho, referring to records is an interesting way to respond to a complaint that is repeatedly posted to your reviews. After the worker nicely called me back it was found that there was a miscommunication and someone at a different gym branch had cancelled my membership but had never told me that they had done so and my card had been charged on the 23rd of September, so how is anyone to know that it had gone through? I personally would consider taking on the feedback rather than approaching issues with clinical-like data. Even though everything was ok in the end, the process was far from clear or transparent and I believe that is a common thread of these negative reviews about cancelling. Thank you. I do like this gym but I have been trying to contact this gym for a month about cancelling my membership. I even went in during staffed hours and waited for 30 mins to no avail. I have continued to be charged despite my efforts to cancel - why am I paying for their lack of responsiveness - I want a refund.

Great people at the gym and the quipment is fantastic. been goin to Snaps for years and this one is one of my favourites. Still one of the favourites walking into the gym no matter when I pop into the area, the gym is always pristine and such a relief walking into a cool gym on the hot days.

Fantastic experience: Terrific gym - friendly helpful staff, plenty of options for exercising, well maintained equipment, never so busy you have to wait, clean, air con, doesn’t tolerate disrespectful members so you’re left with a positive friendly relaxed atmosphere. Conveniently located next to shopping centre so after working out you can fuel up on anything you want and get your shopping done before heading off.

Positive experience: Great gym. Busy sometimes. But I tend to go at the more quiet times. Staff members help out when needed although can sometimes be a bit gruff(was told to put away weights that I was using in a loop of exercises…..I always put my weights away). They should use their knowledge and awareness to know the customers who are diligent with keeping things back as compared to the slackers.

They all so have small group sessions which are a fun work out. Kim also wrote me up work out program which I look forward to doing each week and fits in with my busy schedule. Fantastic experience: Im a member of another Snap and recently trained at the St Ives gym while here on a work trip. First thing I noticed was how friendly the staff were and how clean and tidy the gym was. Then I asked someone for help with one of the machines I’d not seen before and next thing I was getting help adjusting my program and was trying their monthly challenge. It was a great session! Wish I lived closer so I could train here regularly.

Fantastic experience: I think the thing that makes this gym different is the supportive and friendly staff. They make sure you know how to use the machines which are all the latest tech design. The bathrooms are clean and well designed too. The layout is roomy and well thought out. I come away feeling great after a session there.

Fantastic experience: I've been with various gyms before and honestly none of them compare to Snap Fitness St. Ives. Love the gym layout and the environment, they have the latest machines, weights and equipment available. Everything is kept clean and tidy, the staff is amazing and really friendly. Honestly worth the money and just the value you get from working out here, it's also in a prime location so it makes it very easy to access.

Fantastic experience: The people who are members here are all ages, and it’s so great. We respect each other, share equipment and lend words of encouragement. I’m a more “mature” person and have never liked going to the gym. But then I found this gym! Chais and Steph keeps a happy, clean gym where people of all ages feel supported and comfortable. I don’t feel out of place, the staff are always happy and cheerful, and helpful with the equipment. The equipment is kept in excellent condition, and all ages can feel comfortable to reach their own personal goals. And, it has windows and fresh air! Access to booking personal trainers is available, as are clean bathrooms and a nice group of members. I feel safe to pursue important life long fitness. Thanks Chais and Team, and Kelly and Lavende.

Negative experience: Great gym but myself and multiple friends have endured yelling, swearing and getting kicked out by staff for minor offences and what was deemed as ‘poor attitude’. Felt very targeted towards us high school boys, really unprofessional behaviour.
