Plus Fitness 24/7 Campbelltown

Negative experience: Not at all happy with the new owners of Plus fitness Campbelltown since September 2024. My participant purchased a yearly pass. He wasn't given access to his key so he could train. I kept following it up and the manager kept saying the old owners didn't activate his membership so I had to get a refund from the old owners. I rang Plus fitness Narellan and they informed myself the new owners shouldn't be leaving my participant without access as it wasn't his fault New manager and new owners did nothing to assist. Did not even intend to assist. I had to ring Narellan Plus fitness involved. Narellan Plus fitness were amazing at assisting, they informed myself to get a print out of membership contract. In the meantime, my participant with an intellectual disability and behaviors of concern was devastated and showing aggressiveness as he was left without gym access for 4 weeks, even though he had paid for a year in advance. Narellan intervened and the manager (Zoe) finally gave him access after 4 weeks of Zoe saying it couldn't be done. It is disgusting how we were treated. Shame, with the previous owners and managers we got nothing but compassion, empathy and support.

Negative experience: Been waiting 3 weeks to try and get a program done since I joined. How can you start a fitness journey when they can't even answer emails in a timely fashion. Even speaking to a staff member on day 1 to try and get booked in has fallen on deaf ears. Very very poor service at the Campbelltown location

Fantastic experience: Big floor space, good selection of machines and great atmosphere for training. Management is great at maintaining high standards.

Positive experience: Good range of equipment but quite pricey with further price increases scheduled.

Negative experience: Teach your staff how to communicate with your clients. Rang and asked if I could let my 13 & 14 olds sit on the couch whilst I train and was told no which I understand. Recieved a phone call the next morning accusing me of bringing them in anyway which was not the case. Spoke in a very rude and arigant manner. Could of checked cc footage and confirm before making accusations. 2year customer lost for good.

Negative experience: Been harassed by this gym for 6 months now. Made an enquiry once and they call me religiously to see if I am still interested. Their number comes up as suspected spam now on my phone due to this harassment. Please stop. Get the message.

Fantastic experience: This Plus Fitness is clean and quite big. It's not as big as the Ingleburn gym, but is bigger (and better) than Minto.

Negative experience: Since COVID regulations have changed to require a Marshall on sites at all times, i feel like somehow things have gotten worse. The young man they have on site in the mornings does next nothing and just vacuums. The state of machines is terrible, things constantly broken. The temperature is like a sauna. I'm not sure if the air-conditioning is broken or they just have it set way to high! I could go on.

Positive experience: Ever since they moved its been so much better. Good equipment, good environment, and good experience. Tried my local one and i prefer the extra 10 mins drive to go here instead.

Negative experience: All good until you cancel. Couldnt cancel by email or phone had to go in and fill out form. Took 6mths before I could find time to go in within their office hours. Fill out form in front of worker. Said my last payment 16 jan20. They kept charging me for a few months. Sending emails. They still charged me twice after they were alerted of mistake. Told it will be sorted and they will refund. Its now a few weeks no refund. Emailed again about this. They asked for an email when i filled out paper work cause they lost it. Its been a week since sent then details. Havnt heard anything yet no answer to emails. THEY ARE VERY GREAT AT TAKING YOUR MONEY, NOT VERY GOOD AT THE BUISNESS SIDE!!

Fantastic experience: Michael is a legend and always good to deal with. Gym is great size, everything you need.

Fantastic experience: This was an awesome experience compared to the one at my suburb of residence. It was more spacious, had more varieties of fitness equipments. I didn't like the idea they didn't provide body spray for users which helps a lot when the gym is a bit populated.

Fantastic experience: The best gym I've ever been too! As someone who struggles with confidence & comfortability in going to the gym alone, none of that is much of an issue here. It's never too busy, so much room, all the equipment is brand new, works & is taken care of! Ever since 1st attending this gym I refuse to use any of the 3 nearby my residents, they cannot compare with the quality or vibe of this place. It's been a while since I've last been but I look forward to getting back on schedule at this location.

Negative experience: I was member at Minto for $40/month, today because I trained at Plus fitness campbelltown I was being charged hidden fees for past 4 months at $60/month. This is wrong and un ethical. They have to be transparent about it, when I question they retaliate strongly, I requested to talk to management they didnt even facilitate that. Tired of their dirty scheme..

Negative experience: Wanted to join however I tried to call for two days no answer.. I drove to the place and not only does office hours until 12 it was hard to get to.. I then chose to go somewhere else further from my house.. Management should really rethink how to run a business..

Positive experience: I cancelled my membership a couple of months ago and unfortunately due to clerical errors I was still getting charged. Thankfully a woman called Bree was so helpful and has sorted the problems out without any issues. She followed up and was so very professional. For Bree’s customer service I give her 5 stars but unfortunately am leaving only 3 stars for the club itself. Always had broken machines and wasn’t very well looked after or maintained.

Negative experience: This might have been a good gym once upon a time. Now, two treadmills broken, outdated equipment, dirty facilities, no cold water fountain. Ingleburn is such a better gym. With Minto plus opening soon, they are going to lose even more members if they don't fixing things soon.
