Fantastic experience: The best gym on the coast!

Negative experience: Everything is brand new but this is the busiest gym I’ve ever been to. Unless you like fighting for a pair of dumbells I would not recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, with excellent equipment, clean - well managed areas and well organised spaces for different type of training.Classes are available everyday and not to mention the staff doing a superb job at making this place feel like a community for everyone.

Fantastic experience: Great location and good atmosphere. Brand new equipment and recently refurbished. Staff are all very friendly. The manager Eve is always very helpful.

Negative experience: I have never seen or experienced customer service as bad as this. Please answer the phone

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym for years when in Broadbeach and it’s always had loads of space and equipment, even if it was old. But I just went back and the refurbishment is great. Loads of all new equipment, redesigned and a great space. Can’t comment on the staff as they never spoke to me.

Fantastic experience: My local gym for over 7 years, Lime has always had one of the best views with wonderful beach views and sunrises with such an open space. They also have a wonderful team of customer service staff and personal trainers who are so friendly and make you feel so welcome. And now it has the fit out and equipment to go with the above, post a full renovation the look and feel is flashy and adds to the amazing atmosphere and with all new equipment and a massive range of machines it will meet all your fitness goals. It is just an awesome little community at Lime.

Fantastic experience: The club has been completely revamped, they’ve somehow managed to bend the laws of physics and made the gym twice the size, filled with plenty of high quality brand name equipment. Functional fitness space is next level. Not to mention the legendary always happy and helpful staff. Love training here now, motivation levels through the roof. Nice work Club Lime.

Eve the manager is the best and has helped me out heaps. She has great energy and her team angel, Allie and dan and Jake are 10 out of 10. They all train super hard and are weapons

Negative experience: I initially joined the gym due to a promotion offering 4 weeks free, but it turned out to be a scam. Despite being enticed by this offer, I encountered several issues: I tried to sign up twice but found no one at the reception each time. When I finally managed to speak with a staff member, I was informed that the deal was no longer available, even though I continued to receive text messages and saw signs at the gym and Broadbeach Club Lime promoting the offer. I decided to cancel my membership in early March due to this false advertising. After working out, I realized that the equipment was old, and many amenities were not available. Already upset with the initial experience, I chose to cancel and join another gym. I called customer service multiple times and my last visit was ton March 13, 2024, at 09:38 PM (83 days ago) and I am still being charged for a service I have already requested to be cancel. Despite these efforts, I was still overcharged. Recently, I tried to cancel again but was told I needed to do so through the portal, which I couldn't access. Moreover, I was informed that I would still be charged for 30 more days after cancellation. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. The customer service is terrible, and the promotions are misleading. I expect an immediate resolution, including a refund for the charges incurred since my initial cancellation request.

Fantastic experience: This gym exceeds any I have experienced on the Gold Coast! It has everything you need! Brand new, super comfortable and easy to use! They have a wide range of classes, reforma Pilates machines, saunas and lots of open spaces for stretching and free parking and oh not to mention for affordable the membership is! Open term for only 17.90 with everything included and 24/7! Try beat that! Staff are super attentive and friendly. Makes it a friendly community to be apart of. 10/10 recommend ❤️

Fantastic experience: Location: Broadbeach, offering a vibrant setting. Facilities: Includes a heated indoor pool, rock climbing wall, and boxing ring, alongside heavy weights and squat racks. Atmosphere: Provides a diverse and dynamic environment for varied workouts and fitness interests. WOW !

Fantastic experience: I love the environment at this gym, it rarely gets overly chaotic. Even at peak times, I have alternative machines available due to the amount of equipment they have. I can’t wait for an even more welcoming environment with even more space and brand new equipment once they re-open.

Fantastic experience: The newly renovated Club Lime Broadbeach is very impressive with its modern amenities and use of space. One of the personal trainers, Piotr, has helped me gain confidence in the gym and reach goals I didn't know I could achieve.

Fantastic experience: As the flag ship club of the Gold Coast - Club Lime Broadbeach does not disappoint! With a huge range of new amazing equipment and unique pieces + extended space since its renovation and reopening. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Ripped Off I would suggest avoiding this gym at all costs. I called the gym to ask about a weekly casual pass for our family whilst we were in Broadbeach on holidays. I was told to book on their app. We booked the weekly pass and arrived at the gym to find it closed for renovations. I contacted the company to organise a refund and they started the process by gathering our personal details including bank accounts for the refunds. After spending 2 weeks emailing, jumping through their hoops and providing them with all the information they requested they simply said they have decided not to process the refund. I purchased the passes as advised by staff and when unable to use the gym due to it being closed they refused to reimburse us. This is unacceptable. There are plenty of alternate gyms in the area that value their customers.

Negative experience: Incredibly poor that they close the club for 5 weeks and no notice to members via email or even on their app. So why are we still being billed during this period? Could you please make contact in regard to cancelling my membership. I honestly think all members need to contact Qld consumer complaints if this is the case.

Positive experience: Club Lime, situated inside the Oasis Mall, boasts a prime location. The breathtaking view during cardio sessions is unparalleled. The manager is exceptionally helpful and friendly, always eager to lend a hand. With competitive membership fees and occasional holiday promotions offering weeks of free trials, accessing the gym is convenient. Additionally, requesting a free trial day is possible at any time. The convenience extends beyond the gym itself, with a Woolworths grocery store onsite in the mall. After a workout, you can easily pick up groceries. Plus, with restaurants and bars nearby, optimizing your time during vacations becomes effortless. The gym's accessibility extends beyond regular hours, with the option to use their app to unlock the doors. While any gym suffices in terms of equipment for the user, it's only fair to note that Club Lime would benefit greatly from updated machines. The three dislocated and squeaky Smith machines, one of which is awkwardly positioned in a corner, pose safety concerns and discomfort (see photos). Lack of a hip thrust machine necessitates using either the Smith machine or barbell, with loading issues experienced with the former. The aged cable machines, aside from one exception, are in need of maintenance as they are not functioning properly.

Positive experience: This gym has everything that I need. And a lot of classes, amazing. But in my opinion they should clean the change room, showers, toilets more often.

Negative experience: The club manager is a little snob, doesn’t even say hello back! Just screws her face up. Many reports from numerous people about her. The equipment is ancient, hasn’t been renewed since 1969. Besides that it’s a nice gym ◡̈ good luck

Fantastic experience: Great Gym with all the gear

Negative experience: As someone who has trained at the Original Club Lime gym for more than ten years, I am always super excited to try out new Lime locations when out of town. The staff at this gym were very unwelcoming, made fun of us when we asked where to scan/tag in (told us to mind the invisible door) and then also laughed at us when we had trouble locating the bathrooms. As a Club Lime member, I am now walking over to EMF Pac Fair to pay for a casual pass ‍♀️ super disappointed as I love the company

Positive experience: Recently Renovated! + Great location. Decent amount of options for free weights and machines. New equipment/machines and more modern look. Larger area now with removing one of the studios. - Still very basic locker rooms, was not part of the renovation and no tvs for cardio.

Lots of variety or equipment, clean and great atmosphere! Was fab to have the chance to train here whilst travelling for work! Will be back next trip for sure!

Fantastic experience: I trained here while visiting from Melbourne. All staff were super helpful and made me feel welcome. There is everything there to have a great session regardless what you are training. Friendly staff happily pointed me in the direction of where the machines where as I didn’t know my way around. I will definitely be returning on my next visit ! Thanks to the amazing team.

Fantastic experience: I used to member with club lime in sydney, Goulburn,Albury to Canberra, most of place is nice and brand new equipment, finally club lime open new branch outside NSW..looking forward to join very soon

Positive experience: I love this gym. It's has a big variety of equipments. We have access to a beautiful view of the sea from the training area. The trainers and the workers are friendly.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, staff are so friendly, lots of equipment to choose from, the place is big as well. My favourite part is how much free floor there is for stretching/ abs! I’m a super anxious person at a gym but I highly recommend this gym.

Negative experience: I previously enjoyed being a member despite the venues shortcomings of broken treadmills and twice breaking promises related to fee increases (And I've only been a member for less than 1 year) though since asking to cancel my membership they have turned negative and left me with a real sense of regret in ever meeting this business. I signed up when this place was called MyFitnessClub for a "no contract" membership, just give 1 months notice. I gave them notice and despite QLD Gov legislation saying that written notice is all that is required they are ignoring this and twice now have responded that they will not cancel my accounts until after I login to their new online portal (which will require agreeing to new terms and conditions) and pay any termination fees applicable... whatever that means. I signed up to a "no contract" cancel any time membership just with 1 month notice and I have given my notice. It is very unfortunate that they have soured my entire feeling of this place and it looks very likely that I will have to get Fair Trading involved to get this resolved. It is these inflexible operating procedures that take away any sense of customer service and friendliness. I ignored the negative comments when I signed up and I am truely regretting having ever joined this gym. Buyer beware.

Positive experience: A good gym with a lot of current machines in excellent condition. Staff are friendly & helpful. In my opinion could update cable machines & add more fans for ventilation . Overall a good gym in a great location. I recommend.

Negative experience: I was looking forward to having a new gym I the area. After reading a previous review that it was $70 for a keytag even during staffed ours I was a bit shocked so I messaged them to confirm and it is indeed $70 to access the gym if you are a fitness passport member. Won't be going here and it has deterred a few colleagues from using the facility as well. Defeats the purpose of having fitness passport if it is so expensive to use the gym.

Negative experience: I'm a fitness passport member and wanted to try the gym out. Club Lime Broabdeach is charging $70 for a keytag which is ridiculous. Take your money across the street to EMF. $20 for the 24-hour keytag that accesses all EMF gyms or 0$ if you want to come during staffed hours. Club lime will charge regardless of if it is staffed or not. What a rip-off, you'd think they'd want to try attract new business and not scare them at the door with exorbitant fees on a tiny piece of plastic, that's what membership fees should cover. Do better.

Positive experience: Awesome Gym, just gets crazy busy sometimes

Negative experience: Had an issue with my billing since I’ve joined my fitness club and in June I had to pay off for couple of months straight away which was no big deal and they have said that the issue have been sorted. After a while early august started getting messages that my billing wasn’t going through again and for every payment that didn’t went through I had to pay 11$ dishonour fee(already changed to club lime at this point). When I finally came to the club during staffed hours and asked about it, the guy at the reception said he can’t do anything about it as it’s different club now and I need to speak with someone from club lime and gave me their email, have been chatting with them since and it takes time. For every fortnight since they they keep adding me 11$ extra. When I asked them what’s the issue, they sort of put it on my fitness club, and my fitness club staff said its lime club. So I’m sort of left in the middle with no other options then to pay more.. When speaking through emails I asked for someone to contact me on the phone, and they replied that I can call myself, so I did tried for 1hour, no one picks up the phone. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!
