Fantastic experience: The first time I walked into Anytime Fitness in Port Macquarie last November (2023) I felt so welcomed and the feeling of being apart of something special. Every time I walked into the gym I am greeted by a hello, short chat or long chat by the staff. It felt as if I could ask any questions about my training, diet etc. without feeling like I was asking too much. Anytime Fitness Port Macquarie is definitely the best gym I have been to not only because of the amazing facilities but the friendly staff who make you feel as though you are apart of a family. If your looking for a gym in the Port Macquarie area this is it!!! ️

Fantastic experience: Best customer service ever no seriously I went there for some questions I didn’t even want to subscribe today but Chelsea was so lovely and patient and professional in explaining me all the different plans and options and alternatives and she answered literally all my questions that I didn’t have other options other than subscribing. For real this girl is lovely, literally from the first second i stepped into the gym she made me feel super comfortable and welcomed, 5 stars for real and more if I could ahahah - I’ll go to the gym just to see her I promise!

Fantastic experience: Terry and staff are an excellent team. Always helpful, friendly, positive and professional. My training sessions with Terry are second to none. The best I've ever had. The team have created an excellent vibe in the gym where everyone seems positive and happy. The equipment and layout of the gym are excellent and changes are made at times that just keep making it better.

Positive experience: 24/9 Sunday morning. Terrible music. 4 people tried to stop it through the music port and non of us succeed. Gym itself is alright but you’d better bring your headphone….

Fantastic experience: Friendly, zero pressure gym with all the equipment, and 24/7 access. It's always clean and has great, kind of over-the-top even, private bathrooms. Other gym-goers are a complete mix of ages and fitness abilities which is great too. There are no classes at this gym, but I've found the atmosphere definitely worth it and love it anyway.

Fantastic experience: Coming here regularly now and have had lots of encouragement and positivity from staff Terry and Chelsea. They're always willing to give out helpful training tips and want to see me achieve my goals. Equipment is quality and all I need to get in a great workout. Nice and clean as well. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym, recently finished a 7-week program with Chelsea one of their personal PT's. She had great prices, friendly and easy to understand and excellent handwritten programs and by the end I met the goals I entered with. The facilities themselves are well-maintained, friendly and overall a good space.

Fantastic experience: Can't speak more hightly of Anytime Fitness, Port Macquarie. The manager, Terry has a comprhensive knowledge weight training and personal training. He is aways welcoming and readily available, if help is requested.

Fantastic experience: I came for a casual visit while on holidays and I'm so glad I did. This is a great gym, there's a really good atmosphere and it's very clean, and had everything I needed for a full body workout. Terry was fantastic, very welcoming and encouraging. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Being a visitor looking for a gym to continue my workouts, I went into Anytime Fitness and met Terry. I can’t thank Terry enough for his knowledge and support he gave me, especially with my underlying injuries and how best to manage them. I did find the gym is very clean, bright and has a great atmosphere. Thank you so much guys.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday, I checked out Anytime Fitness PM for the first time. I was immediately acknowledged by the two gentleman who were working, Terry & Jai. They were very helpful and made me feel comfortable straight away! After all, going to a new gym for the first time can be quite nerve racking! Even when I had lost one of my earphones in the StairMaster, the boys helped me for almost an hour to retrieve it safely. I am so grateful for their help and professionalism! They saved me loooots of money Thank you so much Terry & Jai! Overall, Anytime Fitness PM is a great gym with friendly members and staff. Light filled and clean, including exceptional infection control! Will definitely be back to join.

Fantastic experience: I reached out to Anytime Fitness Port Macquarie recently & was astounded by the professionalism, passion & compassion displayed by first contact Personal Trainer Kurt & follow up contact Manager Personal Trainer Terry. I felt safe & heard every step of the way. Kurt booked me in for a 5min Gym Tour & chat with Manager. Terry was very thorough with guest intake & patiently answered ALL my questions and then some. I have a colourful history of injuries, coupled with trauma history & empowering personal vision. Terry managed all effortlessly, whilst welcoming/farewelling patrons, suggesting appropriate next step strategy options/requirements & touring the gym with me. Previous gym horror experiences faded into the distance. I felt safe, welcomed, confident with my next steps & my personal vision of health & fitness. I look forward to commencing with Anytime Fitness ASAP, once I’ve received all the necessary clearances & FINALLY being able to kick start a Functional Movement Training Program plus! Negative experience: I’m not sure how a Covid Marshall is allowed to accept entry into the gym or is somehow have anything to do with child safety. I was under the impression that Anytime Fitness promotes a family friendly safe environment?. The “Covid” Marshall somehow refused us entry into the gym and would not allow children to sit and wait patiently at the front for 30 minutes while me and my wife trained. We have done this all over the world and not an issue. What is the policy regarding this? Shame on you Covid Marshall

Fantastic experience: Came over to Port Macquarie for work related activities and needed a gym to workout during my days off. Putting my faith in Anytime Fitness has been a very good decision, the staff are incredibly friendly from the moment I stepped in, are actively cleaning equipment and are happy to answer any questions from members. Whilst it's a smaller gym than I normally go to, it has all the equipment needed to work any part of the body and the price is extremely competitive/affordable. Would recommend to anyone considering a gym.

Fantastic experience: What a perfect gym, wow! I traveled to many countries, but I never visited such a professional, well-equiped gym and their amazing staff. I am traveling from Europe, visiting my husband here as we moved from Croatia to Port Macquarie. It was such a great surprise to find a gym with such great equipment, that also has showers and its all very clean and perfectly maintained. But, the most impressive is the always helpful personnel. This is most definitely a very high standard I have seldom encountered even in Europe. It is because of their friendliness and professionalism, we simply had to pay the yearly membership and may even continue as the location is also perfect. In the middle of the town.

Fantastic experience: These guys rock! I used to belong to the other fitness centers in Port Macquarie, but the Anytime Fitness was the best. Great staff, always very helpful, extremely friendly, and professional. The gym is conveniently located in the middle of the town, so one can either walk or come by bike or car. The instructors are great, knowledgeable, and very reliable if you need information about something. I would strongly recommend it to anyone.

Negative experience: Rude staff. Picking on some members and letting the others do what they want. **Update** I have contacted the owner as he requested in his reply to this review. When I advised him about 3 different occasions where the staff did not treat all members in the same way he accused me of breaching the terms and conditions and said he will terminate my membership! Anytime fitness main office will be advised of his inappropriate behaviour.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic layout, Professional and VERY clean (COVID ready) After returning home from Sydney I found anytime Port Macquarie very accommodating and made me feel at home with the laid-back friendly reception Port Macquarie is renowned for. Each day I have been watching cleaning staff and staff coming and making sure sanitation stations are packed with products for hands and cleaning equipment. It was great to work out in well-spaced, clean environment and the latest equipment available. Its great to see your money being spent on good quality equipment and that why Anytime leave the rest behind.

Positive experience: Could really do with a clean, very messy with lots of equipment scattered and the rest rusted. Definitely room for improvement. Edit : In response to the reply below from Craig - I am not a regular member and only passing through visiting various Anytime’s along the East Coast so purely leaving a review to help better the business & hopefully make it a better experience for future users. It’s great the equipment is spaced out however the “scattered equipment” I am referring to is more in relation to having things all over the ground in the functional area, miss matched weights on the racks and floor, 1 collar for the bar...little things that make a big difference. Cleaning over the closure period is fantastic, however regular cleaning could definitely be improved as it does not mean ongoing cleaning in not required. 3 weeks after re-opening alot of dust & dirt has accumulated on equipment like the treadmill. Rather than be defensive it would be great for this club to look to see how they can improve.

Negative experience: Toilets really really bad. If you gotta go, id say go to the bathroom down the road and come back. The fans always turn off which makes it stuffy and very hot inside. Very crowded during the hours i visited. Equipment was good

Negative experience: This is the worst Anytime I have been to....Filthy Toilets...the equipment is old and worn....For a club that has only recently been through the anytime upgrade it leaves a lot to be desired.....Come on guys pick up your game or sell to an owner who will take pride in the brand like most other club operator's do.....3 out of 10 I'm amazed head office allow you to get away with this!

Negative experience: While the toilet areas seem quiet clean. The gym equipment is a discrace. Very very grotty! Probably the dirtiest equipment I've ever encountered. Disappointing. Other than the poor hygiene, the gym is good.
