Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I’ve ever stepped foot in. It’s clean, it’s tidy, it’s laid out amazingly for the machines, cardio, free weight and plenty of power racks so you don’t have to queue for one even during peak times. Staff are friendly, helpful and always smiling! Amazing environment and team atmosphere

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for 5 years now and have found it to be the friendliest place to work out. The staff are amazing and always on hand to answer any questions. The manager Kylien is always so approachable and happy to assist in anyway.She has also been my PT for around 3 years now. I feel like its a second home when I'm there and as a female member I never feel awkward or intimidated by other gym members. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to join.

Negative experience: As someone who has never set foot in a gym before, I was disappointed in the lack of guidance and communication I received from the manager and trainers. It has turned me off joining a gym in the future.

Fantastic experience: Have been heading to this gym for about 6 months now and I’ve got to say it’s been the best 6 months of my life. Everyone at this gym is so friendly and welcoming, and are extremely approachable when you’re not sure what to do or the right techniques. They have the best staff and personal trainers in the area and the peninsula. Would recommend this gym 100 times over!

Negative experience: I was super keen to join this gym as I move around a lot and wanted to gym I can access in multiple locations, I had consistently been staying in Somerville so decided to reach out to request starting a membership. I enquired online multiple times and they never reached out out to me! My partner ended up calling them asking them to get in touch. When they did we organised a time for me to go to the gym to discuss joining. I arrived and waiting at the door. 10 minutes went by and no one came to see me, I then tried calling and no one answered. I waiting 20 minutes passed the time we were meant to meet and no one came. I ended up leaving and they never contacted me to follow up. So disappointed.

Negative experience: Pretty small gym and lack of equipment variety, not many machines and gets a bit monotonous due to the equipment never changing , bit pricey for the value , free weight section is okay but

Fantastic experience: Love going to Anytime Fitness Somerville. A friendly atmosphere with great equipment and helpful staff. The big bonus is that you can walk into any Anytime Fitness in the world with the same standards applying. Have been to a few across Australia and USA without being disappointed.

Negative experience: Requested a cancellation of my wife's membership and they did not cancel due to the contract extended for covid. Which we were not told we could cancel at that time. We had the membership for over 18 months. They requested cancellation fees. I left the membership to run out on its own. They kept it going. If I had not queried or questioned they would still keep drawing fees even after I had emailed them to cancel. This is why gyms get a bad wrap.

Fantastic experience: I train at all the anytime’s on the peninsula and this ones my favorite as it’s a lot bigger than most of the others. Good crowd there too.
