Fantastic experience: A well situated gym. Has everything you need in air-conditioned comfort. The manager Cody is very friendly. Enjoy this gym.

Fantastic experience: Great vibe, clean, nice patrons. I travel a lot and train at different gyms all the time. Some feel very industrial. Some require lots of maintenance. Some are filled with steroid heads and some have loud explicit music. This gym is an great example of one with a welcoming vibe and nice clientele. They use mostly 'precor' machines (yellow weight pin) and some 'lifestyle' pulley apparatus. BONUS: storage arms bolted to pulley machines for handy storage of various handles and bars (see pic) NEGATIVE: (MINOR) Yoga mats are the thinnest I've seen and my bony lower back and pelvis actually felt the floor through them (see pic) PARKING: large carpark with plenty of parking. It's located within a shopping centre. Overall a very good gym.

Fantastic experience: We came over from Perth to spend the week on Hope Island for a family wedding and this was the closest AF gym. The gym itself (after getting lost trying to find the entry door lol) is immaculate and the equipment looks well maintained. The LED lights in the lockers is next level, have never seen this at any other AF gym in Oz or NZ! This would have to be one of the nicest smaller AF gyms I have been to in the Eastern States, a credit not only to its members but also the management and owners.

Fantastic experience: I love my gym in Helensvale, I don’t get to go often as I have a bad back and I’m a carer for two people but when I do have time, it’s always lovely and clean, cool and the music is pretty good these days. I luv our new manager Hanna, she has been so patient and helpful showing me some great back exercises for my lower back pain and to strengthen my core muscles. She is very approachable, friendly and always lovely to talk to.

Fantastic experience: AF Helensvale has been my favorite local gym in the past few months. The staff and the manager are so friendly, made me feel welcomed. There is also a station for deodorant, sanitary pads and hair-ties for members to use when they forget to bring their own. Just moved out of the state last week, hope the local AF here is as good as AF Helensvale :)

Negative experience: They force you to do a year long contract.

Positive experience: This was my home gym for YEARS and I absolutely loved it and still do. Maxine has been so lovely over all these years and never fails to say a friendly and warm hello when you walk through the doors. She makes an effort to have a chat with everyone. The gym feels more pleasant after the revamp and it’s so much brighter as well. It’s definitely become a busier gym after covid but you still become familiar with everyone. Keep it up Maxine and thank you for always looking after the gym
Fantastic experience: We have been going to Anytime fitness for years now. We love our gym and love the new refurbished gym. It is always kept lovely clean and Maxine is an asset to this gym as she is always so friendly, kind and always busy looking after us all, Maxine is always having to take heavy weights of machines that lazy people leave behind so people like me who can’t lift the heavy weights off can use the equipment, so that is greatly appreciated. Luv our gym.
Positive experience: Been attending this gym for a while and overall it’s a great gym. Staff are great and members are nice! Although upon the refurbishment, I had high hopes the gym would finally receive brand new equipment. This was not the case however, there was only maybe 2-3 new machines off the top of my head and most of the old equipment was reused. This wouldn’t be an issue however half the equipment is broken or doesn’t function properly. This gym needs NEW machines and weights. Along with the fact there is no assigned space for deadlifting, it’s disappointing. EDIT: Almost 1 year making this review and there is still no deadlift platform. Also yet to replace the old equipment with new ones.

We have all brand new Life Fitness Cardio, Stepper, Treadmills, Cross Trainers and bikes! We have a range of brand new hammer strength dumb bells, we have a brand new jungle gym (cable cross-over) 3 new hammer strength smith machines, a brand new hammer strength V squat and a brand new hammer strength Glute Drive, brand new boxing gear and new group fitness fit out! We are waiting for X2 Deadlift platforms, these are currently still on order and we have space organised for these. Please see staff urgently if you see anything that doesn't function correctly, We will adhere to get these fixed as a matter of urgency. If you have any other grievances, please do not hesitate to chat to a staff member who would only be too happy to help or give you information on what has not yet been completed in-club, Your club was completed in 2 weeks to get our members back asap, We still have equipment coming, Just ask:-)
Fantastic experience: The best gym I have ever been to .Clean , wonderful staff, great atmosphere, awesome music & fantastic equipment & polite respectful members . I was never a gym person ( more of a yoga / Pilates ) but at almost 50 I have become one .I look forward to checking out the classes . Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Love this little gym, I come between 11-3 depending on the day and it’s always relatively quiet with minimal wait for equipment. Big bonus is the friendly staff, always welcome you with a hello and are up for a chat. Would recommend a visit!

Negative experience: All this gym is missing is a dead lift bar jack, every other gym has one so why not this one ? Personally i hate going out of my way to another gym just so I can incorporate dead lifts into my routine, stacking and re stacking plates in a safe manner is of the up most importance

Positive experience: Anytime Fitness in Helensvale is my local gym. I have considered other gyms however I find this gym to be a great environment with friendly experienced staff who are always willing to go the extra mile to be of assistance. The equipment is clean and the staff are great. If you are looking for a clean, well equipped gym then this is the gym for you.

Fantastic experience: Shout out to AF Helensvale for being the best little gym around! Staff are hardworking, friendly and helpful. The prices are affordable and the members are great - it's a nice community feel. The equipment is always being cleaned and you don't have to wait for ages to use it either. The members nights are awrsome too and there's lots of giveaways and promos to keep members motivated.

Fantastic experience: Small gym but still seems to have everything you need and plenty of space. Manager is super helpful, genuinely friendly and always seems to be happy! Personal trainer there is always willing to talk and help out. The gym members are also fairly polite and helpful. Highly recommend if you are looking for a small and friendly gym to workout in.

Negative experience: I do not recommend to join the club. The store manager is quite rude and careless as far as I know you should keep you customers happy specially if is a old customer. You could offer better options and try to get a balance but this is no the case. I wouldn't come even if it was free I'm extremely disappointed :(. And As I saw on the other comments *There are better clubs with better deals. In response to your comment below I do not need to have entered your club to see what a poor service you provide. I over heard you on the speaker phone talking to my husband for me to join the club and you sounded careless with your reply. People can see how your customer service is. I'm glad I didn't join your GYM.

Positive experience: Nice use of space and has a good range of equipment. The gym doesn't have windows tho and only has 1 massive ceiling fan so it does get quite stuffy at the back

Negative experience: Gyms are a scam especially when they require an entire months notice that youre going to leave and demand you pay half of the next months fee even though you've left. My time there wasn't bad though, its a half decent gym but their rules and cost outweigh the benefits.
I’m sorry you feel the way you do! I cannot respond to your situation as you do not have a personal name attached! Though when you sign up with an agreement you would have signed this agreement knowing what it entailed, otherwise why would you sign it? If you had any queries regarding your cancellation that you did not agree with you could have approached a staff member that would have resolved any issues. Negative experience: The toilets are filthy every single morning .Aircon is never on in the morning so you feel like u can’t breath .iv Made complaints but nothing ever changes . For god sake turn on the AIRCON !!!!

Our cleaners clean the bathrooms first thing in the morning around 5.30am when it is quiet, unfortunately we cannot clean after every user, nor can we monitor the cleanliness throughout the night when members are using the club, however bathrooms are cleaned everyday. Lastly Aircon! Unfortunately we cannot operate the air con, this is a matter for the Helensvale Plaza, we do not have access to the air con, however we have increased fan speed for a cooler atmosphere. Fantastic experience: Well layed out gym. Not overcrowded with a great range of equipment. 10000 x better than my previous (anytime) gym. Kept pretty clean and doesn't smell like a foot when you walk in!

Fantastic experience: It's a gym, 24/7
Negative experience: Went in the morning for a workout. The entire place was so filthy it was shocking! I had to stop my run from grossness and walked out within 15 min unfortunately. Ended up going back to the usual branch instead. They're well equipped but I don't plan of getting a skin infection either.
Positive experience: music is not too loud.
Fantastic experience: Great club and awesome staff, they have been a great support in my fitness journey. The club manager is always friendly and bubbly.

Positive experience: Terrible service. I phoned and made an appointment. I arrived a few minutes early then waited for another 40 minutes. No one in the office. Tried to call but went to answering machine. Will look for another gym. After i put this review up i got 2 phone calls. One from the area manager who bent over backwards to assist me. I am pleased to say my first workout today was great and i will be returning. Thank you Bianca.
