Negative experience: I felt like I was being profiled one afternoon when I entered the gym and was asked if I was a member.

We understand that sometimes members may enter the club without scanning their tags, especially when the door is open and they forget. As a result, we often find ourselves reminding people to do so and checking in to ensure they are members, as individuals interested in joining may sometimes follow others inside. Fantastic experience: The best AF I have been to. Staff answered the phone quickly and the hours were good for me to secure access. It was well equipped and clean. Plenty of space and a good variety of machines. Really enjoyed it. Let’s give the habit sticks.

Positive experience: Really nice AF, mix between the new and older equipment, but clean and the lights are crazyyyy in de DB area!! (Go after 22:30 and the gym is all yours)

Hi Matt, unfortunately using our club to shower your dog falls outside the scope of a normal AF membership. However we do allow members you require the assistance of emotional support and therapy dogs to train in our club as we want to support our members and not create any additional barriers to their individual health and wellness journeys. Please note your membership was terminated by your home club as there had been several complaints by other AF clubs concerning your use of AF shower facilities.
Fantastic experience: Very big gym, the equipment is almost new and it is super clean, you can tell that the people that work here care about it. 10/10

Fantastic experience: What a gym! So firstly the staff are so pleasant, the girl who works there (daughter of one of the managers I believe) signed me up, was super patient and not pushy in the slightest. I had spent a couple of weeks trying to find a good gym and was met with nothing but pushy sales staff and a "pretentious/judgy" atmosphere but as soon as I walked in here it felt completely right! She was so welcoming with a big smile on her face and we always have a chat when I go in, really goes out of her way to make you feel welcomed and always says goodbye on the way out! The gym itself is such a tidy and clean space. The members all clean up after themselves and there are plenty of wipes to enable you to clean equipment down. There is never equipment lying around and I believe both the members and the gym staff all make a conscious effort to respect the space. If anything breaks they are straight on it to fix it, you are not dealing with missing machines and broken equipment for weeks which is super common in commercial gyms. Toilets are always cleaned with deodorant/hairdryers if needed. Equipment is great with something for everybody and rarely have to wait for anything. It is an absolute pleasure to train here, as a personal trainer myself and coming from working in Commercial gyms in the UK I know how challenging it can be to create and maintain a space like this, feel super grateful I found it, a breath of fresh air! Aldi is next door and Coles is across the road which is super convenient. Reasonably priced and feels super safe and secure, never worried about leaving my bag in the open lockers. Forgot my water bottle once and they provided me with one, really can't ask for much more! Thanks for being so welcoming and I look forward to continuing to train here and would recommend to anybody! Negative experience: I've booked an appointment to sign up, received a text confirmation, even spoke to a lady on the phone, and when I arrive, no one was there. No one even had the courtesy of calling me to cancel the appointment. I run a very busy schedule and this was a Complete waste of time, based on this experience I would not recommend this gym to anyone. This shows poor customer service and a total disrespect to my time.

Fantastic experience: Yo Miami peeps! If you’re gym-shopping, stop! Your gym is here… Anytime Fitness Miami. This place is the real deal. Staff? Superstars, every single one of them. They know their stuff and they're so friendly, you'd think you're at a family reunion. The gym itself is as clean as a Mr. Clean commercial. And equipment? They've got more gizmos and gadgets than a tech store on Black Friday. It’s 24/7 too, so for all you night owls and early birds, it’s game on. Oh, and the fitness classes? Epicness overload! In short, if this gym were a movie, it'd be a blockbuster hit. Run, don't walk—unless you're on their high-quality treadmills, of course. ️♀️

Positive experience: In desperate need of a restoration, equipment needs a fair bit of TLC, very basic. Ok to use if just need a quick workout, but definetly wouldn't say I'd use this as my regular gym.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of Anytime Fitness Miami for almost a year now and I love it! The staff are super friendly and always willing to help with anything, nothing is ever too much to ask. The gym has a really relaxed feel to it so I always feel comfortable. Mike who manages the gym takes so much pride in everything, from building a nice community through to the presentation of the gym. The equipment on offer is very good and everything is kept tidy and clean. Other members of my family also go to AF Miami and love it! 5 stars from me :)

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Great passionate staff who made it really easy for me to sign up as soon as I moved here from New Zealand. Great equipment too they even have a hex/trap bar and deadlifting platform, complete with chalk!

Negative experience: Convenient location, however I wouldn't recommend this gym. There are much nicer, newer gyms around for the same price. The cardio equipment is very average compared to new Anytime Fitness' with their Life Fitness equipment. There is a good range of weight machines but I would like to see more hand weights etc. I would not want to go here during peak hour. The gym is also extremely hot and uncomfortable.

Fantastic experience: By far one of the best gyms on the GC! So clean, tidy and equipment is well spaced out. Has a functional room for stretching, ab work, classes and works as a posing room for those looking to compete. Staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: Staff were friendly, but the gym itself is just tired and needs a refurbishment. The lighting is poor and there was a stale smell to the place. For the same price, there are WAY better gyms on the coast.
Firstly, thank you for the review as we truly do appreciate any feedback. I would like to say it's quite unfortunate you didn't like your experience here at Miami. We pride ourselves on a clean/bright and nice smelling atmosphere and as I am sure you can appreciate. These reviews help potential members see what current members experience-obviously negative or positive. We never want people to hold back how they feel however we have an open door policy and our members always engage in conversation with us and we are happy to sort/amend and chat about issues. As far as lighting goes we did have a light out in the smaller functional space which was this morning as it wasn't so when I closed yesterday. Assuming you are a member at another Anytime (not Miami) perhaps calling in and having a conversation seems strange so leaving this review is an outlet. In short, it is sad you feel it's such a tired environment-hope you had a good sweat session nonetheless!
Fantastic experience: Great gym, heaps of gear, plenty of space. I trained there at 4 pm and it wasn't too busy. Group exercise room which a lot of the 24 hour gyms are missing. Could use a little more space around the dumbbells and another squat rack but hey you can't have everything. All in all I would be happy to suggest this gym to a friend.

Fantastic experience: No excuses for not training when on the Gold Coast - for either locals or holidaymakers - with this great 24/7 gym located smack in the middle of the GC, on the Gokd Coast Highway in Miami. Anytime Fitness caters for all fitness levels with a wide range of cardio equipment (bikes, steppers, treadmills and rowers, free weights and pin-loaded machines), and group classes such as Zumba, Yoga and Upoer and Lower body or, if you prefer, one-to-one training with PT Steve. The gym is ideally located just a block away from a post-workout swim or surf at North Burleigh. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I've been working out here for almost 3 years and it has been great. The facilities are always clean and in good working order. Col and Aerin are so happy and positive when you walk in, and sometimes I even get greeted by Indy the staffy mascot!

Negative experience: I found the equipment quite good. Nice and clean. But I would not go back there again because one of the staff members made me feel uncomfortable, even if that staff member intended to be helpful. I have never had any issues with any other other staff at any other Anytime Club make me feel uncomfortable at all when helping me before. I actually felt quite self conscious after the interaction. I Much prefer Southport. EDIT: I did have a chat to the managers after, I guess I was more in shock and didn't get across how uncomfortable it made me feel. Again I don't think the was the intention but it certainly did not come across right. I don't like leaving negative reviews but happy to come by in a year and reevaluate. Cheers Levo
Hello Levo, interested to know more as we take claims of personal matters very seriously. Can you please call us here even if it’s from an anonymous number to discuss what happened? We only want our gym and it’s environment to leave our members as well as guests feeling welcome and valued. We have two managers as well as a PT...so when you say staff we all work very closely and are constantly trying to grow through feedback. Please do get in touch, I can only apologise that you left feeling that way and didn’t reach out prior to writing this review.

Positive experience: It's not a big gym and people were hogging equipment by putting towels on multiple machines for their various sets. Not good gym ettiquette- better to share when not using.
Hello Claire , unfortunately we believe this isn’t a reflection of our gym in any way. We have hundreds of visitors (from other gyms, people on trial and so on) that come through our doors daily. We are happy people are using towels for hygiene purposes however agree “hogging” isn't something that is appropriate in an gym setting. We hope that next time you visit our gym you can take matters such as this up with the friendly and dedicated staff either in house, via email or phone to ensure your poor experience can be reviewed and dealt with accordingly.
