Fantastic experience: Great gym, awesome staff and friendly gym goers. Almost a year since I joined Jetts at Varsity Lakes. Love the place. Brand new machines with plenty of free weights and power racks. Haycke the Manager is most welcoming and will greet you with a smile every time. Liam and Tom the PTs are both great at what they do and I have seen them help many gym goers with some pretty awesome transformations. Music is good, no grunters and the place is very clean with everyone using their towels and cleaners in there often. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: great gym in a great location away from huge shopping centres and busy areas, nice amenities, has everything you need equipment-wise. treadmill with solitaire on it sold me and now im going almost everyday. love this place

Negative experience: I asked them to freeze my account on 27th Oct until 5th of November. I have email confirmation of their staff stating that they've suspended my account for pay period 9th Oct to 5th Nov. But they deducted the money on 8th without my permission. When I confronted them, the staff replied saying "This is because your payment was already scheduled for that day. You only requested your pause the day after. "The owner told my partner that if I'm that desperate abt my own money, then I should look for another gym. Yes, I'm desperate because it's hard earned money. Reply: Yes, you did say that it'd be credited on my return, but that's not what I wanted since the error was on your side. Thanks for reimbursing the money straight away, but you also said that I should look for another gym if I was desperate. So, best wishes to you too!

Fantastic experience: What an improvement!! Its my first time being back in over a year and this entire place has had a face lift ! Machines are amazing, lay out is perfect and staff members are so sweet! I’ve been out of action for a while and they’ve all been super helpful, especially with operating the new equipment. Thanks guys!

Negative experience: Unfortunately the staff and trainers here aren’t pleasant humans. Disappointed to have been made to feel so uncomfortable on multiple occasions. I would highly recommend a different gym especially for people struggling with high anxiety. Your not made to feel welcomed and not encouraged if your slightly different. Such a shame gyms still operate with such backwards mentality and zero understanding on people just trying to better themselves.

Fantastic experience: Jets Gym in Varsity is a clean, well-equipped facility with a welcoming atmosphere. Negative experience: I found this gym a few months back and it’s a cracker of a place! Even though it’s a bit on the small side, the gear is top-notch and the whole vibe is modern and fresh. I’m only knocking off a few stars because of one of the PTs. There are usually two trainers around, and while it’s fair enough that they like to work out there, the taller bloke just gets on with it, no drama. But the shorter guy (Liam, I think) seems to forget that this is a shared space. It’s a bit shocking to see such a lack of gym etiquette from someone who’s meant to be setting an example. He’s always hooking up his phone or computer to the sound system and blasting some dreadful tunes. I can’t figure out why he doesn’t just use headphones like the rest of us. Plus, he doesn’t stick to the gym’s own rules about bringing a towel or wiping down machines, and leaves sweat behind on the gear. I know this next bit might sound a bit petty, but the excessive grunting and noise when he’s working out is seriously distracting. I don’t hear anyone else making a racket like that, and it’s just annoying to deal with. Also, when he’s training clients, he tends to set them up with heaps of supersets. That’s fine in itself, but they end up hogging so much space and equipment during peak times. You’d think he’d be a bit more considerate of that. I do like this gym overall, but I’m only popping in for leg day now since they’ve got machines that the Robina and Burleigh spots don’t have. I try to go in the mornings to steer clear of this bloke.

Fantastic experience: We recently moved into the area and were chasing a gym that was not just convenient but well presented and modern. With the new renovations and professional staff, we couldn’t be happier. When we found Jetts Varsity, we were relieved to find our new local gym! It is so convenient to fit around the busy days and weekends at work because it’s accessible 24/7 with members carpark and showering facilities and not to mention the professional and friendly staff. It’s only a matter of time before everyone hears about the best kept secret on the Gold Coast. Do yourself a favour and speak to The Team at Jetts Varsity Lakes.

Fantastic experience: You’ve gotta try this place out! Unlike most other gyms. Fresh equipment, super friendly atmosphere. The staff are awesome, very friendly and welcoming to everyone that walks through the door. Gym management are top notch, shout out to Haycke (gym manager) she makes everyone feel a part of the Jetts family and Michael (owner) is a regular on the floor! PTs Liam and Tom, absolute best in the industry and in house services of massage and healing with Alex. Even the members are super friendly, helpful and very respectful of each other. If you’ve been thinking about hitting the gym but feeling intimidated or lacking confidence, give this one a try!

Positive experience: Surprisingly good gym for where it is tucked away and hidden. Really doesn't look like the photos any more. I appreciate that the music here is better than at other gyms. Definately creates a better vibe to work out to. But what's up with those tread mills? They're the oldest hunks I've ever run on at a gym. They're just out-dated. Honestly my first impressions of them made my friend and I laugh because they sounded like star trek sound effects from the 1960's series. Otherwise an awesome place to work out. I also appreciate the lighting is a bit dimmer here so my retinas aren't being burned out while I do situps.

Negative experience: Very tired looking gym now, poor maintenance, AC not working most of time, today was super hot and humid in the morning, arrive to no AC (again) so was like working out in a sauna. 2 members were sweating so profusely to the point I considered it a health issues for other members...particularly when the Covid is back. Small and lacking a decent range of gear, numbers all worn off on weight stacks, everything generally very worn. Now drive to Robina which is much nicer.

Fantastic experience: I was so hesitant to join a gym as I'm certainly not a gym junkie and had quite a lot of work to do. From the moment I walked into this gym I felt welcomed and cared for. The staff and patrons are super friendly and fun! The kind of people you look forward to seeing in a sweaty terrible state! The trainers are knowledgable and the small group classes make training social and fun. Yes I said it! Training is fun! There is something for everyone from the dedicated athlete to the less confident and it's great value for money. If you are looking for a place where you are more than just a faceless number in many, this is the gym to get connected into. I'll welcome you and so will everyone else!

Fantastic experience: Jetts Varsity Lakes is one of the friendliest gyms I've been too. All the staff are so helpful and readily assist if asked. The Manager is so friendly and approachable and goes out of his way to make me feel welcome which is a nice change from other gyms I've been to in the past where I've been treated as just another number! Definitely love the community atmosphere at Jetts Varsity.

Fantastic experience: Very convenient quiet gym in Varsity Lakes with lots of parking space. Well equipped and maintained, all machines are in good working order. Place is always clean and tidy, and I must admit very cheap memberships rates! Professional and very friendly staff always ready to help and assist. I'm currently doing my PT and getting amazing results fast! If interested in PT sessions I highly recommend you speak with Ty, this guy knows his stuff. Form meal plans to complete body overhaul . Fantastic experience: Travel along the east coast of Oz for work and love being a member of Jetts because can have access everywhere I go. But there's nothing better than returning to my home Club at Jetts Varsity Lakes to be greeted by the friendly staff and the hilarious dancing manager!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to jetts for around 3-4 months now and it is great, with a full body scan to see where you are at you can learn where you need to improve and jetts helps with this with their pts doing a sessions with ou apon sign up to show you a suggested work out session and basic nutrition info. Overall a great gym with all the necessary equipment and a homely feel

Negative experience: Outdated old equipment manager is a pompous moron shouldnt be in the job..joined up key fob wouldnt work can only access the gym during unstaffed hours finally i get in there to see whats going on the manager has NOT set up my account.new key issued someone else sets it i return in the morning still camt get in lol..Call the owner of the gym and he sets it up over the phone and now 2 weeks later im in..nice work guys..FOUND A WAY BETTER JETTS AT ROBINA ALL NEW EQUIPMENT THAT'S WORTH MY MONEY..AND A GREAT FRIENDLY MANAGER.

Informative information... take home info... Great vibe.. They’re in an area that has a café and toilets... They have their own toilets that are looked after properly... Friendly reception always.. They have a network of PT's... excercise physiologists.. nutritionists.. chiro's/osteo's/physio's... massage.. who are all top notch.. They have supplements and nutrition info available. Neat and tidy. Easy parking.. both outside and under cover (under HOTEL CBD 50m away) 24 hours access.. with staffed hours very good too.. An all round efficient competent friendly team. Highly recommended... THE BEST GYM EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD...

Fantastic experience: I have had an awesome experience at Jetts Gym Varsity Lakes. Having been to gyms over the years I had lost motivation and direction. I needed guidance in nutrition and exercises. Chris was able to give me a very affordable nutritional program with tips along the way. He always checked in to see how I was going, so I felt supported the whole time. Andy designed an exercise program that was fresh, so it didn’t feel like a boring experience!! Most importantly, they heard what I wanted and were able to give me what I needed! I didn’t feel at all uncomfortable with any question or insecurities. All equipment is excellent quality, and it’s a very clean, hygienic gym. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I've seen a lot of people running around varsity doing all this outdoorsy exercise, which is great if you're crazy about heatstroke and sweat and hate the delicious aircon of a clean, not overly populated, and well equipped gym filled with friendly people! I'd rather be at Jetts though. #GoTeam
