Fantastic experience: Everything you could want from a gym. Always clean and tidy. Never seen it packed. Staff are all friendly.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous Gym, friendly staff and top of the range equipment. Shelly, the gym manager can always been seen front of house, which I think is fantastic! I found that I had developed a lack of luster around the gym but Plus Fitness Alkimos has reminded me of my love for fitness and my excitement for a gym session!

Negative experience: Have been a member for few years after moving into area have I work fifo received email instructing me to bring my payslips in to verify I am fifo. Surely they could check sign ins. Im on construction roster 3&1. There are machines that have been out of order since Xmas. Staff spend more time on their phones what happened to the trainers that took some sort of interest. Have decided to cancel membership asked for this to be done was told by A ill informed uninterested person. That I needed to do this online. Went online. No links no information on how to cancel membership Impossible !! meanwhile another month has gone by. In gym today 1pm . And a friendly helpful member of staff help me. Someone haven’t seen before. With the correct information.

Positive experience: For the owners, PLEASE PUT UP SOME BLINDS. They only need to be for the top of the windows where the buildings to the west don’t block the afternoon sun. The sun streaming in is blinding whether it’s from the window or reflection in the mirrors at the back

Positive experience: Great gym with everything you need, and good customer service. Just 2 issues - I couldn’t do supersets all the time because of having to go up and down the stairs to get to my next set. But the 4 stars is because for night trainers they lock the sauna after a certain time, which I always used when they opened this building.

Fantastic experience: The upgrade is amazing...

Negative experience: Genuinely enjoy coming to this gym, but on a busy night when I just want to cycle and there’s only 2 out of the 4 bikes working. Disappointing as it’s been like this since last year December.

Fantastic experience: I started in 2022 December as a part of the free month deal, I decided that I really enjoyed this gym in particular and the brand. The staff are so welcoming & kind. Some machinery is out of order but that does not impact my usage as I do not need those equipments in my weekly 4 day ruotine. Would highly recommend going to alkimos plus fitness or even any over other gyms.

Negative experience: Plenty of equipment, but unfortunately most of it is out-of-order, especially in the cardio section. My cross trainer was wobbly and making loud clicking sounds - all others in use, or out-of-order. No biggie, let's do the bike then. The only free/operable bike - screen is black. Can't adjust levels. Okay no biggie. Let's go on the treadmill. The only free/operable treadmill - screen flickers and can't adjust incline. Okay, no biggie. Let's try out one of those two cardio machines I've never tried - nevermind. Both are out-of-order ...is this a joke?

Negative experience: I went in and cancelled my membership, 6 months later they still charged me fees after I changed states, I eventually found out threw bank statements and called them, let's see what happens next month if it happens again than I'm taking it further

Fantastic experience: Such a lovely bunch of people staff and patrons, everyone treats you like family and always willing to help and up for a chat! Such a great environment and the kids absolutely adore the creche and it’s staff.

Positive experience: Solid 4 stars. Nice staff, decent facilities. Friendly demographic. Would have been a 5 if they hadn't started locking the Sauna, nothing like a good sauna after a sesh.

Positive experience: A great gym with good atmosphere but I’m continually disappointed by the lack of decent equipment. Every single one of ur cardio machines, treadmill, step machine, cycle bikes are all old and barely in working condition. It’s a brand new gym please.

Positive experience: Good gym with all the equipment and all the free weights that you need. Atmosphere is ok, layout is also ok.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love it here. Staff treat you like family, and know when and how to push you if you need it. The option of Creche, free included as part of your membership, means I have no restrictions to attend ( means less excuses) Huge Range of Classes, and PTs. Those that run the classes ensure they are enjoyable and variety, not sure I've walked out of a class not sweaty Nor laughing due to the great class and other participants making it fun. Can't wait for Reformer Pilates, which is also included. Love the dedicated Spin room ( although a few more monitored bikes would be handy) and the option for outside classes is amazing. Sauna is a great addition, although can't wait for the new one to come i. We did look elsewhere, but the deal we have with Plus, makes it definitely worthwhile.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this gym, modern look, great environment and community based gym. Staff all super friendly and helpful. Always clean and well presented.

Negative experience: Honestly you should avoid this gym. Its super crammed inside, whenever you're doing a workout you feel like everyone is in your personal space. Some of the equipment is pretty gross. Electrical tape isn't a good alternative for rubber grips. There's only one bench press and its placed right underneath a light so whenever you use it it messes up your eyes (unless you want to do your pr with your eyes closed) The sauna is super small. I went in to cancel my membership and the girl at the front desk named Tiffany was super rude and condescending. I don't know if she was having a bad day but she seriously shouldn't be treating customers rudely. The Gym looks nice and modern on the outside but its super crammed and full of flaws there's plenty of other gyms nearby I'd recommend over this gym.

Negative experience: Don't join, cancel if you already have would be my thoughts on this place. Have increased the fees when they said they wouldn't when we joined, don't answer the phone, voicemail box is over flowing so you can't leave a message. Had to take time out of work to go talk to someone. Get there incredibly smug rude and offensive female staff member asked me to provide description of person who signed up with like I was lying about it, then threatened to call the police because I was annoyed and wanted to cancel my membership. Avoid like Omicron.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I went to this gym probably for about 3 months in 2018. I cancelled my subscription cause of the class schedules not working with mine. After 4 years I they were still taking money from my account and since the withdraw showed as PAYSMART, I didn't realise it was them!!! When I finally figured it out, not only they refused to give my money back, but they also wanted me to pay a cancellation fee and other nonsense... The lady at the phone 'Hayley' did nothing but being rude!!! She claimed she could not help me and she also couldn't tell me the name of the person who could!!! I had to call 3 times until she finally gave me the name of the supervisor... SO DISAPPOINTED!! I am still struggling to sort it out!!!

Negative experience: Have been paying for this gym for 2 years, didn’t know nor had any contact from the gym in regards to doing an induction/training....makes you wonder how much they care! Today will be my third time trying to cancel this payment!

Negative experience: Great equipment, cheap membership, some friendly staff but seriously overcrowded gym. Member to gym area ratio is a joke. Almost impossible that the piece of equipment you need is free at any given time every night of the week. Majority of night time members are selfish and arrogant. If you want to sign up, make sure you can train in the morning.

Fantastic experience: Clean equipment. Helpful and friendly staff.Good facilities. Prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this gym.
