Negative experience: Absolutely the worst experience ever with this gym. Cancelled membership in December but the direct debits kept coming out for 5 months. Contacted them to cancel it and requested a refund. Told there was nothing they could do unless I have proof, 5 months ago THEN my emails were ignored AND THEY CONTINUED TO TAKE THE DIRECT DEBITS OUT MY BANK for another month!!!!!!! I have had to cancel my bank card just to stop them at huge cost to me. Over $800!!!!! On a side note, this gym itself is really disgustingly dirty, the toilets have urine up the walls and mould in the sink, the mats never get wiped down and are really gross. With so many gyms around you have your pick in this area. DEFINITELY GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!

Ive been to other gyms in the surrounding areas and it doesnt even compare. Its recently had an upgrade so now its even more spacious with more new machines to play on highly reccomend

But what makes snap fitness deception bay gym is SAM the gym manager he has created a great atmosphere where most gyms lack by going out of his way each time to greet you and ask about your day and including you in conversations with other people also creating weekly runs to bring everyone together to feel apart of the team

Fantastic experience: I have trained at snaps all over Australia and this snap has one of the best atmospheres and it for one reason! BIG SAM although d bay might be a bit of a rough area everyone is respectful and nice as Members range from schools kids to elderly SAM makes the point of making everyone feel welcome going around making time for everyone and when leaving at night saying goodbye to every single person in the gym! For this i award Sam national snap PT of the year!

Sam was friendly, listened to feedback and was all over it before my workout was over. Bathroom facilities are immaculate! Would rate higher if possible!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to a lot of gyms around the area and can truthfully say that Snap Fitness Deception Bay is the best club I have been too. Their manager Brad is always very welcoming and supportive as well as their trainer Neta who helped me with my deadlifts. The facility itself is great, new equipment, spacious and not too busy. Other members also seem happy which is a great sign. I will be recommending my colleagues and friends to join. Very impressed guys. Thank you!

Negative experience: have stolen $ out of my account a week early i tried cancelling with them 4 weeks ago via email got no reply tried ringing went right to voice mail left a message no reply ended up going in there an they said they didnt receive any of the above and are now charging me an additional 4 weeks and taking $ out of my account early which means they are stealing 2 weeks more membership from me
