Fantastic experience: Good vibes, good equipment, plenty of parking, 24/7 access, very clean, it is wheelchair friendly with parking at the front. With Lockers, cardio equipment, strength equipment. The staff at Plus Fitness were eager to assist as I was new to this area and looking for a local gym, Simon was courteous & made me feel welcome. Plus Fitness Peakhurst is Highly recommended

Positive experience: The Mog Champ sends his regards. It's a large-sized gym bigger than some of the other Plus Fitnesses and it's got all of the equipment most people would need. It generally looks fine and I'm sure the staff take care of it. This is only my first impression of the gym, but I believe the gym can definitely be a bit cleaner especially with the equipment such as having it wiped down with every use. I'm saying this because after using the equipment, my hands were really smudged black, something that doesn't happen in other gyms. Despite all that, I hope everyone can continue enjoying a great pump at a gym to continuously improve ourselves! Mogliest Regards, Your Mog Champ

There are signs for members to wipe equipment down with the provided wipes and to use a towel. We are however very surprised to hear about the black smudge marks. Perhaps there was a residue left behind after the equipment was maintained and we will pay close to attention to this going forward. Thanks again and happy training!
Positive experience: This is a great gym! Clean and convenient . Plenty of equipment, weights and room. The non intimidating vibe makes going there not a chore. Trainer Troy helped me achieve more than I thought I could.

Negative experience: Should not be air-con or fans in the gym if you want to be cool stay home this is why I left this gym
We really aren't sure if this serious? So we really don't know how to respond... If you are having a laugh haha you got us, but if you could please remove your review as it does affect our rating. On the other hand, it's good advertising too :)
Negative experience: I tossed up between 2 or 3 stars as the gym size is the best I've seen for Plus Fitness. However I concur with some other negative reviews regarding the weight racks. We all know the type, leave weights on equipment, deliberately put dumbbells back in wrong spot. Unfortunately these type really ruin the gym atmosphere. Has great potential though if they can get rid of the inconsiderate members. There really should be a mandatory "gym etiquette " exam before membership is granted at all gyms.
Thanks for the review, Luke, albeit on a negative note. Personally, I think there should be a 'basic human etiquette' exam before people leave their homes but alas. It's much like the inconsiderate person who never replaces their trolley after shopping or puts milk in the bread aisle because they can't be bothered to do the extra 20 steps to put it back in it's spot... but surely you wouldn't give the supermarket a bad rating, would you? I know I wouldn't. That aside, rest assured our staff do all they can to promote a clean and tidy atmosphere as reflected in most of our positive reviews. There will however always be the minority who are, simply put, wired differently and won't replace their weights... or trolleys. Thanks :)

Fantastic experience: The best gym I have ever attended. It is HUGE and very generous with machines. Overall great vibe and plenty of parking. Even at unstaffed peak hour times there are plenty of machines and friendly gym-goers. Staff members Greg and Louis have been especially welcoming and so lovely. Highly recommend trying out this gym!

Positive experience: Like any other gym, they need more of the popular equipment, 1 Smith machine and one chest press machine just ain't enough. Good atmosphere though

Positive experience: It is a great little gym to go too. There is a variety of cardio machines, huge selection of free weights and weight machines. They have a small workout floor were you can do aerobic classes at an extra cost or follow along to the virtual classes which is included in your membership. The only negative is the toilets are unisex so they are disgusting to use because they are often filthy.

All facilities are cleaned rigorously including the bathrooms but this can unfortunately get undone in the 24 hour environment so if you find that the bathrooms need attention please do let us know and we will action straight away. Fantastic experience: This is honestly the BEST Plus Fitness gym I have been to and it is super underrated. Let me tell you, the gym is HUGE. Due to a high ceiling structure of the building, the air is always refreshing and cool and the gym looks more massive tbh. The staff at this gym are extremely friendly and welcoming. There are lots of machines to workout on. For example: 4 bench presses, 2 squats AND deadlift locations. 3-4 hanging things (idk what it’s called). 2 cable machines for chest fly. Lots of treadmills and cardio machines. Moved out of the area now and visited several other plus fitness gyms, this one was honestly the best. Really miss going to this gym!

When you’re next at the gym, and staff are around, please feel free to let us know which members may be hoarding the equipment and we’ll happily have a chat with them. Negative experience: Gym gets 2 stars for the space but its poorly maintained. Equipment takes ages to get fixed and when it does it breaks again straight away. Also, be prepared to be stepping over all the gear and rubbish that the gym bros leave scattered all over the place. Either on the floor or on machines. Would be good if they followed up on the 157 signs around the place about putting equipment away. Update: taking another star away. Its beyond a joke now. Rather than the “staff” actually telling people to put things away there is a cringey joke that flashes up on the monitors about putting weights away. 10% of the dumbell rack scattered all over the floor. Bottles of pre workout, towels, mats, plates all over the floor. Dont waste your money here unless you want to spend your time cleaning up after the gym bros
Hi Greg, thanks for the review albeit on a negative note and we are sorry to hear that this has been your experience. We did have a few equipment maintenance issues and whilst it appeared that it took longer than expected to be repaired, please rest assured that we do everything possible to speed the process up however there are a lot of variables that have come in to play surrounding this which has included a shortage of replacement parts given the current climate that we are experiencing. Re the Centre, our staff do maintain a clean and safe environment and this unfortunately can get undone during unstaffed hours hence the communications in the gym to remind members of basic etiquette. For the most part, our members treat the centre like it was their own but there will be the minority that unfortunately do not pack their weights away or use the rubbish bins provided - we do deal with this on an individual basis as our 24 hour CCTV makes it very easy to address. Again, thanks for your feedback, it will help us improve our service and in turn yours and our other valuable members' gym experience. We trust that you will have a more pleasant experience on your next visit. Thanks, Management
Fantastic experience: Great local gym. Friendly, engaging staff. Good variety of machines and free weights (in metric measurements ). Great to see a lot of the fellow members here training with a great attitude. Very inspiring. Great to have access to the network of other locations at any time of day.

Fantastic experience: I would absolutely, positively recommend this lovely gym. The trainers and all the staff are so amazing and so encouraging and so welcoming!!! The vibe of the whole gym, including the other members, is amazing. No matter if you do classes online, outdoors, or at the studio, the vibe is always on! Love, love, love! I'm so glad I joined!

Negative experience: Horrible gym. Staff are more concerned with their social life than actually attending to the gym. The free weights rack is completely disorganised because no one that goes there has any gym etiquette and staff don’t care to clean the weights or put them back in their proper location. Only half decent thing is the size of the facility

Fantastic experience: This gym is fantastic. I have been to many other gyms in sydney, from plus fitness and other branches (in the low end of pricing). This is by far the best. Plenty of floor space, many machines, and great culture where people mostly put weights back. As a woman into strength training I was intimidated at first, but I superset or take turns on equipment with the guys and everyone is nice and shares as best as they can. If the class/stretching room had mirrors, and if the mirrors everywhere went down to the floor, this would get 6 out of 5 stars. 24 hours is fantastic as well.

Negative experience: Parking isn’t that great. No member retention. If you don’t show up for a few months they don’t care. I actually forgot that I hadn’t cancelled and was surprised I had no communication from anyone, they were just happy to keep accepting the money (my fault I know for not canceling) but a gym that cares about their members will check in with them, especially if they are absent for quite some time
Hi Tracey, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review although it's not entirely accurate. You were sent communication 4 weeks and then 6 weeks after you hadn't visited the Club, we even offered you a complimentary PT session to get you motivated, this offer was sent via sms. Understandably, we can't force people to use our Gym so following the above mentioned communications, it is then the responsibility of our members to use their membership and if they are not able to, then to simply cancel - we have no lock in contracts so we've made the process as seamless as possible. With regards to the 'parking not being great', please can you call us on 9854 1505 to elaborate so that we can better understand your comment and and hopefully improve our service. With the above being said, I notice that you have been using Plus Fitness Medowie since February '22, so assuming that you are actually using your membership and your comments in your review have been addressed, we kindly request that you remove your review as we would consider the matter addressed. Or, as above, please give us a call and we will happily discuss this further. Kind regards, Management
Negative experience: Went to terminate my membership today and bring my key fob back as they have requested that on an earlier conversation we had while the gym was closed due to Covid. I have expressed clearly that i would like my membership terminated, not paused, not temporary suspended or anything of the sort. The employee there than told me that i will be charged a membership fee once again in 2 weeks time even i have returned my key and terminated my membership, because aparently this is how it works. Pretty sad grubby practise, they will try to squeeze all they can once they know you will not be coming back. Things had to get heated up, so the fees that i do not owe them get waved. So here it is 1 star, if 0 was available, they would have gotten it.
Hi Dimitar, Thanks for your review although it really is disappointing that you felt such a negative rating was necessary. It was explained to you that a 2 week notice period was required to cancel your membership, this is very clear on the cancellation form and your signed terms and conditions, that's why it is disappointing that despite this, you still feel that we 'squeeze all we can'. After the above was explained, you then said that you contacted the centre via email to which you were instructed to visit the Club to sign the cancellation paperwork - this is standard policy and reinforcing the message above. Purely as a gesture of goodwill, we made the decision to waive your final payment, so again, I am not too certain why you felt the need for this review. Nevertheless, as before, we wish you all the best with your ongoing fitness journey and thank you for your custom.

Fantastic experience: This is the best plus fitness I have been to, to date. Have been to Engadine, Alexandria, Hurstville and now Peakhurst. This has to be the best thought out one of the lot. Spacious and modern with plenty of equipment means you can train in peace whilst working up a sweat.

Positive experience: Good vibe...but very bad parking area...no spacious...always concern if someone would hit the vehicle. Limited parking spot. Have to work on that...

Fantastic experience: My best experience at any gym. Staff are friendly, helpful, and diligent. Equipment gets fixed quickly when it inevitably breaks. Worst part is that there could be more parking, but there's a bit of street parking around.

Fantastic experience: By far my favourite Plus Fitness gym in the area. I'm closer to other ones, but I drive the extra 5-10 minutes to come to this one. Well spaced out, usually parking available, friendly staff & members that just let you get on with your workout. But I don't know who's idea it was to have the carpark down a flight of stairs... Have hobbled down them, gripping the hand rail for deal life after leg day a couple of times haha

Fantastic experience: For a new facility at the rates you pay for this gym, it's more than totally worth it, everythings immaculate, the size is perfect, so many different machines and exercise stations, this is by far the best gym I have been to after being a member at many other gyms such as Anytime, Snap Fitness and the worst of the worst gyms in the whole world Crunch Fitness, I would recommend Plus Fitness to anyone and everyone, you just simply can't go wrong
