Fantastic experience: Friendly and experienced staffs, great place to workout and get yourself a class and be healthier than before. They also got infrared sauna, cold plunge, and compression boots for the recovery. On the other side, they also have like physiotherapy massage on booking. Sell some merchs and proteins powder for your workout necessities as well.

Fantastic experience: Amazing season at Combine Air which was organised for Sydney Working Holiday Girls! 15 of us had a session with Matt as our PT creating a great atmosphere with so much energy! It was great and all the girls loved it. A special thank you to Ellie who reached out and organised, excellent at communicating! She also created such a great reel from our session as well!!

Regardless of it being group classes, the coaches still pay proper attention to everyone’s form and constantly push us to progress. The recovery they have is an add on too which is the cherry on top. Overall would recommend especially if you’re looking to up your fitness level ❤️

It offers state of the art equipment and a great variety of classes but really it is the strong sense of community amongst both the staff and members that sets it aside from other gyms in the area. The coaches & staff are always full of energy come rain or shine, and make the sessions fun while training you to the max - you see results super quick. Facilities are also 10/10 with recovery area, showers and dyson products for hair styling. I’d recommend to travellers and locals!

Fantastic experience: For so many years Paddington did not have a class based gym, and Combine Air has changed all this! The vibe here is so positive, young and fresh and the fitness is off the charts. Loads of paddo locals go, and the low oxygen environment burns weight fast and I love the recovery suite. Fantastic ice baths. This gym has changed the way I look at fitness and made it so much fun. Hectic!

Bathrooms have everything you need to head straight to work or out for a drink. Highly recommend this spot. Been to a few gyms over the years, and this is by far the best

Fantastic experience: Iv been to many group classes over the years but nothing compares to CA. The fact is you can’t replicate the altitude training at any other venue. My results have increased doing pretty much exactly what I was doing before but I’m now allowing science to deliver the extra benefit.

Fantastic experience: I did the intro offer, $49 for unlimited for two weeks. Not only do you get to train in altitude training but each day it’s different and it makes you want to go in each day. There’s also have recovery sessions, ice baths and Infrared sauna which is amazing. The team is also really lovely and friendly - they make you feel apart of the community!

[update 30/08/23] Wanted to personally thank Darcy for 6 weeks of transformative PT. He’s delivered on his promises and the progress I’ve made is nothing short of remarkable. Even when I was doubting my progress he made sure I knew the process was working. Can’t recommend the club highly enough. Also shout out to the rest of the CA staff what a bunch of legends, helped me settle into Sydney after a solo move from the uk and I’m so glad to have a place I can unwind and be part of a like minded community.

Fantastic experience: Unbelievable facility. I used the infrared sauna and it was so comfortable and I felt great afterwards. You can hook up your phone and play a podcast , meditation session or your favourite music whilst in the sauna. Towels provided! Post sauna facilities e.g hair dryer etc. I would definitely recommend using the sauna and booking a session alongside the ice baths. The gym also has a recovery room and a full workout area. The joining deal is amazing full use of all above for two weeks for 49$. Can’t wait to go again . Go for PT also if you wanna see huge changes to yourself great coaches.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never had as much fun in a gym sesh as I did at this gym! There were so many different stations that made the time go by really quickly. I felt amazing after the recovery session and I wasn’t that sore the next few days! Definitely keen to go back!

Fantastic experience: I recently completed a year at Combine Air and I'm so glad I did! I can see a difference in my fitness level and I had a lot of fun. The trainers are great and they really know how to motivate you. One thing that I found particularly challenging about Combine Air is altitude training. The air in the studio simulated to be at high altitude, which makes it harder to breathe. This can make the workouts feel more challenging, but it also has a number of benefits. I would definitely recommend Combine Air to anyone looking for a fun and effective workout.

Negative experience: Review My friend and I went to the sauna and shared one sauna cubicle in a sauna room which had two cubicles. (The staff knew we were sharing). The beginning of our experience at combine air locker training was lovely. We were greeted by a really nice man who made us feel really welcome. However, post-sauna things took a turn. We had just finished our sauna and were getting changed when a lady who worked there came and opened the door so she could clean. This was fine, but she left door wide open when other people were just outside the door (we were close to naked). We closed it, then she walked out and left it open again. We closed it again. Then she came back in, she seemed visibly annoyed, and left it open again so the people training could see us. We felt really uncomfortable because even though it’s a sauna we didn’t want everyone training / gyming to see us. There was also a man standing outside watching us who seemed annoyed and as if he was waiting us to get out. We were extremely confused because there was two saunas so he could have just walked into his sauna- it wasn’t like he needed to wait for us, and the lady should have told him this. Yet, it felt like they were both angry at us. If we had done something wrong some communication from the staff (the lady) would have been helpful, but I can’t see what we had done wrong. Following this uncomfortable encounter (keep in mind we were trying to get changed the whole time), she was extremely cold and rude to us even after we tried to be nice and even apologised while we were getting changed? Needless to say I will not be returning to this establishment.
