Fantastic experience: Great community feel in this gym, while it is smaller than some others in the area it is never too busy and the staff are amazing. Sonny, Verity and Reece have been amazing and always up for a chat! I love this gym it feels much more comfortable than my past one, definitely good vibes!

Negative experience: Anyone that says this is a good gym with good equipment is lying, I walked in and walked out. I am currently staying in the east of Melbourne and was using my membership for my normal snap and the state of this gym is disgusting. The equipment is old and not maintained with no clear weights written on them. It is small and dark and uncomfortable I have put my membership on hold until I am back at my normal area because of this. This Snap and Wantirna truely give snap a bad name. A major upgrade is needed and new equipment, it seems these franchisees have no care for the state of their equipment.

Positive experience: Smaller facility than others. 1 toilet and 1 handicap toilet/shower. No calf machines (sitting or standing). Still good for hit and run.

Fantastic experience: Small but functional & tidy gym. If you go off peak hours (and weekends), it’s usually quiet and you may even find yourself being the only one there. The club manager tylah is super lovely and all the staff are nice and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: A very well equipped, well maintained gym with all the equipment most people would want. The owner, Damian, is a great host, manager and trainer for many at this gym, which has a really friendly, almost family feel to it. It's very accessible, not overly crowded, you get quick access to any machine you want, parking nearby is a breeze, and it's very secure for patrons wanting to train late at night...you can park near the door and see your car easily.

Fantastic experience: Clean gym with ample equipment, members are respectful and the gym staff always make you feel welcome. Damien always greets you with a smile and puts you in a positive mood for a great workout.

Fantastic experience: I attended this gym as a casual with my sister, who is a member. I was greeted by Damian, who instantly made me feel very welcome. I enjoyed my session so much! This place is more than a gym, its a community. It doesn't matter where you are on your fitness journey, all are welcome. The space and equipment was extremely clean and everyone respected the cleaning rules - I felt very safe in the middle of this pandemic! Damian is especially amazing, his customer service is like something I haven't experienced in a gym before. I can't wait to go back and I highly HIGHLY recommend you try this gym! Fantastic experience: Joined Snap Fitness Croydon for training from the start of COVID-19 and they have been wonderful in offering online classes and outdoor classes when they where aloud too. l have managed to work with a couple of the trainers and lose over 17kgs. They have been wonderful in supporting and making sure everyone was ok. Thanks Snap Fitness Croydon. Its a great supportive gym with lots of encouraging staff and customers.

Having been away from Australia for over 40 years, and having been part of an excellent gym program in Hong Kong, joining a gym was very important to us when we returned to Melbourne to retire. I wasn’t sure we would find one. But SNAP is just what we hoped for. It is well equipped, and well run, and welcoming. Damian and his team have organised the space so well, and have clearly made the care of equipment, and the people who use it, a high priority. Gyms can be intimidating places, and it is refreshing to walk in to SNAP and be called by name with a cheery greeting, and find everything where it should be- weights neatly away, and equipment clean and ready. And it is only like this because we have a great management team and trainers who are cheerful and dedicated. Damian and Darcy and their team are always willing to help if we have a question about how to do something, or about whether our form is correct. Without question they ‘walk their talk’- and help us to do that too, whether we are 25 or 85. Everyone matters, and everyone’s fitness and well-being matters. Going to the Croydon gym three or four times a week has become central to our lives here- and we appreciate it hugely.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere, with friendly, helpful staff. Small, but well equipped gym; surprisingly able to cater to all users even during busy periods. Excellent initiatives to get people involved with competitions and events occurring pretty regularly. For those less social, the staff are helpful enough to let you know they are there if you need them, but aren't pushy if you just want to do a solo session. Being part of the Snap franchise means you can attend any of the locations around the country if needed.

Trainers and staff actually care about how you are progressing and encourage you to make the most out of each visit. Fantastic experience: Since moving to the area in February, all the staff members at Snap Fitness Croydon have been so friendly. It’s nice walking into a gym and being referred to by name. Other members at the gym are friendly also. A special shoutout to Sarah, my personal trainer who has helped me lose 3.4kgs in 2 months! I would also like to mention that the gym is always clean and tidy.

The facilities are small but the team have managed to set up the space well. The equipment is great and the gym is clean. It is well ventilated and never has that musty gym smell. This is my favorite gym.

Negative experience: this gym has a huge focus on losing weight & motivation kind of stuff. I'm already too skinny all I wanted to do was maybe improve my blood flow and be more active, and when I went to join, the gym owner just look at me and ask if I wanted to lose weight.. Well I weigh only 42 kg and has a small-ish frame If I lose anymore weight I might as well be anorexic, then he was like 'oh do you want to put on muscle', as if losing weight and putting on muscle are the only two things that mattered in being healthy. I wanted a gym that was close to my place that does not have a lock-in contract, so I joined anyway and put in $70 for a key card. Little did I know that you won't be able to get your $70 back even if you decide to leave for whatever reason a few months down the track, you can only get the money back within a week of your trial period. Also, I went with a personal trainer but I had to stop due to being involved in an accident, and I let the trainer know that I would like to put the sessions on hold. She contacted me a few weeks later saying I have an training session booked on Saturday? ! Besides I was charged for all the sessions that I didn't even go to. When I first joined, I let them know that I suffer from jaw/neck pain and might be limited in types of exercises I can do but I still get introduced to the stuff that was above my limitation. they appear to overly focus on body image only, but not much everything else, and their accommodation of people with injuries and limitations is poor.

Negative experience: While taking a picture for Google maps the staff member jumped out of the store asking me if I need any help. Not wanting to help me just bulling the public for taking a picture. I ask him if he approaches every person going past he said yes. I waited to see if he does and he did not. The staff member name was Damien.
