Negative experience: Having recently moved to Penrith myself and my housemate were looking for a new gym. We were greeted by an extremely rude member of staff, who told us as we were not ‘local’ we were not entitled to a trial, despite anytime fitness advertising 7 day free trials and us providing a local address.

Positive experience: Nowhere to lock up a bicycle! Strange. Otherwise, a good gym.

Unfortunately, we're unable to install a bike rack out the front due to the Hairdresser and Coffee shop at the entrance which share the same space. For this reason we allow all our wonderful members to simply bring their bike inside the club and park it in the foyer to keep safe. Hope this helps :)
Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. Plenty of space, heaps of great machines, even the water fountain is easy to use. Always clean, I’ve only ever been here late at night but it’s never been crowded. It’s not my home gym - I’ve used it a few times now when I’m out this way visiting family - but it would be if I lived a little closer. In fact I would probably travel out of my way to get here to if I did live a little closer. I’ve been to a few other AF’s in the area and none come close. Thoroughly recommend.

Positive experience: I have found this place out of all the ones I have been a member of, be the best lay out for size and machine ratio. And the staff are very approachable, if you approach them with respect. Enjoy the atmosphere but you can use your headphones if you don't like the music (Maybe it's just me getting old! :).

Positive experience: Why is this gym closed on a Sunday? It’s nice to see an AnyMonday-Saturday fitness. First one I’ve come across and I go to gyms in Canberra. Facilities are great don’t get me wrong but still would be better for a Sunday opening if it’s an Anytime

Positive experience: Great gym , great atmosphere , lots of room ,super clean and hygiene is always maintained, not as many people during peak hours, no gym thugs around slaming weights and yelling in groups conversation but a few A- hole monkeys around occasionally ,ample parking and staffed at usual hours

Fantastic experience: Great Place to exercise. This gym is pretty huge, it has a large amount of exercise equipment, WIFI and many parking facilities. It is very clean and all the machines are in working order. It is one of the best Anytime Fitness Centres I have been to.

Fantastic experience: This gym is very good and clean with an overwhelming variety of machines to train on and the recent renovations making it feel very open and clean. The staff were very informative on sign up especially when I queried about attending other gyms. And the membership value is quite good for 24/7 access (I was recently informed that a nearby gym with limited hours & less equipment was the same price). A quick tour or rundown of the facilities/most common machines would be nice at sign up, though a personal training session from the friendly staff here set me on the right path

Fantastic experience: Cleanest and neatest gym i have ever been to. 90 percent of people put their weights away! There is no dedicated bench press, however there is enough room to set up a bench in one of the many power racks.

Negative experience: Nice gym with everything you need but be vary of the membership fee increase tactics they use. Twice in the last 2 years my membership was transferred from another Anytime Gym to the Penrith Gym due to a couple of months where I had used the Penrith Gym more often. They transfer you over to them and immediately take the opportunity to increase your monthly membership fee. You move back to your original gym but the fee increase remains. And to respond to the owner's reply, 3 or their Elliptical trainers need repairs. Plus 3 other gyms in the same distance radius to where I live have monthly memberships far cheaper so I guess they get their utilities and rent cheaper too. Paying $11.75 per week now compared to $16.84 was an easy choice.

Due to the constant rising costs of goods and services such as rent, water and electricity and contractor services, the introduction of this minimal increase has been necessary for all our members so we can continue to provide the quality experience our members deserve. Fantastic experience: I have had the luxury to benefit in using multiple Anytime Fitness (i.e. 'AF') locations around the Sydney Metropolitan area and nothing compares to that of their Penrith site. Personal Hygiene in the unisex bathrooms is so important to me and this can only be explained of gold standard. Their equipment are always repaired promptly and in my view, always kept clean. I am always welcomed on arrival with a warm happy greeting and as a result I just always look forward to going back again when visiting this site. The management at this site do such a brilliant job that I sincerely hope AF realises what hard work/effort and continued motivation is made to ensure its members are kept safe, clean and happy - not to mention their enthusiastic positive nature to their role. I don't know how she does it all on her own. Keep up the fantastic work Tracey, your just amazing!!! :-)

Negative experience: I like the gym so huge, nice and had outdoor area to do work out. But so so sorry to say , first enter the gym is so smelly and I think need to maintain cleanliness .

Unfortunately we had the roof collapse in the foyer and along the back wall, some flooding occurred. We've been working with Strata to take care of the damaged caused to the roof as many businesses in the same complex were affected. When flooding occurs it can often leave an odour. We are thankful to say the roof has now been fixed and the odour has naturalised so we hope your next visit will be more enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: All over a decent gym, always clean and as organised as can be for a 24 hour location. A major let down is the weekend staff skipping any songs they don't like on Crowd DJ and spamming their own music to make it impossible for any gym users to enjoy. Haven't had it happen during the week, only during the weekend. Would be appreciated if management spoke to the staff and reminded them it's for the use of all patrons and not just them

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Always clean and have never come across any machine out of service! Need more wipe stations though, maybe make it 3 rather than one, which sits next to the chest full of grip accessories. Overall this is a great gym, love the outdoor area as well!

Negative experience: Manager makes the gym very uninviting. Very poor customer skills as she seems not to have manners. Also lacks managing skills as the gym is unstaffed until 11AM on a Monday? Almost a joke.

Fantastic experience: I had a small discrepancy with my membership and was charged without want to be. The manager Jake was onto the problem asap and helped me out. He refunded my money and sorted my membership out. Goes to show that anytime penrith isn't your normal gym that just takes your money without you knowing, it's a true community gym.
Fantastic experience: Great staff members and great equipment for you
Positive experience: Decent enough gym, however, overcrowding, lack of variation of equipment, smelly amenities and hit and miss air conditioning hurt the overall rating. Not bad for maybe half an hour but for any longer than that, try later at night.
